Whitbread will be playing in the no. 31 shirt and Johnson in the no. 32 shirt.
I find it weird that number 11 hasn''t been used. Possibly one more signing or is that wishful thinking? [:P] (please be Adomah ... [:D])
Whaley wears number 11!

His song has to be the USA chant!
-
For me 100% Doc and Whitbread! Askou has been one of our more concistent players this season and has done well but i dont think he''s that good of a defender! may be ok in this league but no more!
Burnley Chairman on radio sounded disappointed but realistic and resigned to the inevitable. Take note ColU. Hopefully we will also be dignified in our reaction when Lambert moves on.
I can totaly understand Col u fans being upset about Lamberts departure, but when they start saying he was no good anyway, we look much better under boothroyd than we ever did under Lambert makes me annoyed!
-
Excellent news for three reasons, firstly he is a good solid player capable of a higher division, secondly he may just make the World Cup squad for the USA, giving us something to cheer about (Except for the England match of course!) and thirdly I am due to become a Dad for the first time in April and we had already decided to call him Zak!
and on the world cup one, should make his peformances improve as he wants a place in the squad, will be a great signing!
-
His move to Posh broke down due to his wage demands, really hope the same thing doesnt happen here!
-
Thank christ! "Skysports.com understands" Thats the sweet line i''ve been waiting for! (Other than us ''actually'' signing him of course) [;)]
Ye me too! it''s a shock that the sun could have got something right for once!
and if they start with any of that 7-1 business we can simply reply back with 7-0 to the Preston boys
7-0 to the preston boys, why not simply just sing PNE as preston do! -

does anyone know if theres actually any truth in this?
I do![:#]
well is there any truth in it or not?

does anyone know if theres actually any truth in this?

When is this to be confirmed?
millwall are getting ready to bid for banard ,lets hope we dont leave it too late.
ye and if we sign Whitbread they will use the money from that, Lambert will have to think if he wants Barnard, and im sure he will!
-
proves what some of the people know on here! He was definatley signing earlier, from a good sauce. No big loss, would rather have barnard or dagnall!
-
Agree with Norwich MP-any new centre back is not, and should not be, considered as a replacement for the Doc-although if the Doc chooses to leave at the end of the season or exercise the right he now has to talk to other clubs, thats a different matter. If, for example, we signed Whitbread-thats a defence of Otsemobor/Martin/Nelson/Docherty/Whitbread/Askou/Drury/Whiggins -any four of those eight to play and all fairly decent, expect Whiggins, when he gets the chance, to prove himself a good player.
You got a link for the whitbread rumour?
Just read on Sky Sports rumours Beckford to Newcastle 6.5 million and Leeds to make audacious bid for Grant of 3.8 million. What value would you put on Holty that would be acceptable. If offered 3 million would you take it, 5 million ?, 7 million ?. Interested in others thoughts as every player as a value.
Beckford is out of contract in the summer and Leeds have put a value of 2 million on him. Holt''s worth about 1-1.5 million, you think he''s worth 7 million?? you could buy Henry for that! If you believe that you must believe anything!
