  1. Semmy was partly at fault as were the two centre halves. Unfortunately they got lazy / tired at the end as they had decided that we had already won a point. Yes, it was a bad kick which caused the goal, but poor awareness and failure to be alert from a goal kick is a school boy error. Had Semmy been alert, Beckford would have had no chance of out pacing him. He nearly caught him in any case even with  a huge head start! What did you think about the 1st goal, when he failed to attack the cross? He did that one a number of other occasions in the game from set peices, which could have cost us, but I suppose I am "Semmy bashing" by stating facts!!
  2. This is such old news!!! why has this useless excuse for a player continued to plat through a number of different managers. At fault for both goals, due to the usual day dreaming!!! Admittedly Foster made a bad mistake initially
  3. Quality. Should offer him a 3 year deal minumum
  4. Well done for showing you have no idea whatsoever about football. Did the fact that the Leyton Orient defenders were torn to shreds by Hollahan not suggest to you that he was a good player. I admit he does need to pull the trigger a bit quicker sometimes, and is all left foot, but his biggest problem is he is a different class. He thinks so much quicker than the other players, and often looses the ball because other players are too slow to think or react. On one occasion Tuesday night Hoolahan should have shot on his right, he then turned inside and should have shot on his left, but he layed it onto Lappin on a plate who somehow managed to hit it straight at the keeper from 10 yards out, missing an absolute sitter. It amused me that everyone then moaned about Hoolahan rather than the fact that Lappin had missed an absolute gift of an opportunity! I would also like to mention that the bloke runs his socks off for Norwich. Unlike many other players he is always looking to recieve the ball, demanding it and trying to link the play. I think in a way he has too much of the ball, so people tend to focus too much attention on him.
  5. Why are people still clutching at straws with Semmy''s "ability". His only good attribute is pace, which he only uses to dig himself out of a hole when he loses concentration and has to catch up the player he has allowed to skip past. Considering the pace he has, if he was any good, he would not only be plaing for a decent club, he would be scoring regularly and creating assists for others week in week out! In my opinion he is getting worse, rather than better!!
  6. Absolute no brainer. Spillaine every time, as unlike Semmy he can actually defend!
  7. Quite simply because he is awful!! He has had good games, but he would not get in many Championship or league 1 teams. We have a major problem at centre back, which causes the full backs to be even worse than they actually are!!!
  8. Saw him against Brentford and he was dreadful along with Gill, which is why they got completely dropped against Wycombe. He is 6''4 and didnt even win a header against Brentwood. Unfortunately he is the same type of run of the mill player we continue to sign in such a key position!!
  9. Last game of the season at Charlton, when the Norwich fans boomed out to the tune of karma chameleon: Jonny, Jonny, Jonny, Jonny, Jonny Otsemobor, is F****** S***, is F****** S****
  10. Certainly not me! Why would you want a slow winger, who cant cross to save his life?? The only thing he does well is stick his foot in. Good riddance to Croft and his wages!!
  11. What an absolute joke This should be offered on a first come first served basis as a free good will jesture to supporters as an apology for the Norwich City circus this season. An absolute disgrace!!
  12. Totally agree. It was not suprising where the two Reading goals came from last night. What he was doing for the first goal is anyones guess. I cannot believe a professional footballer can get caught ball watching so much during a game. Having watched a fair bit of Norwich this season it is blatantly obvious that our full backs are singled out as a major weak point. This is why every team that comes to Carrow Road bombs the ball onto Bertrand and Otsemebor hoping to get sometin froms Bertrands poor ariel ability and Otsemebors shocking positional sense. What amused me about Semmy last night is that he was so pedestrian at times. I kept finding myself screaming at him to run as time and time again he looked ike he was at half pace. I find it alarming that I can see how bad he is and obviously he has cost us a number of goals this season, but neither Management team has addressed the problem!!!
  13. Alan Lee is absolute quality. Was a different class today. If anything I would say he is technically better than Iwan & he is certainly quicker. He will cause any team problems!!
  14. It''s quite simple - he is awful!!! One of the poorest players we have had for some time. The only reaon he has been involved this season is because the competition has also been so poor (with the exception of Clingan, hence the position we are in!!
  15. If we are still able to get any loan players, then I can''t help thinking that the NCFC board should take a big gamble and try to get a decent central midfielder for at least a month. Im not sure whether we are allowed any more emergency loans though? Does anyone know the position with rgards to more loans?
  16. If we can find one stupid enough to pay his wages fro the rest of the season before we hopefully offload him in the summer then great!!! One of the worst players to ever play for NCFC. If Gunny puts a 24 hour call back on the loan then we are the only winners really. Both Pattision and Fozzy will be getting first team football on loan (assuming they go to a very poor side who would play them), which they will not be getting at Norwich, so If they are required due to injury they will be fresh and fit. If both Pattison and Fotheringham are allowed to leave on loan, hopefully we can get another loan in ourselves.
  17. Was probably annoyed that he hardly touched the ball in the first half and was distinctly average in the 2nd!! Thought Russell and Otsemobor were our poorest players on tuesday night
  18. Whether people want to admit it or not, releasing Darren Huckerby was the worst mistake NCFC has made for a very long time. Even though his performance levels dropped last year, he still posed far more threat than anyone we have had this sinceand quite simply we would have had a few more points this season with him in the side!! The only chance of getting someone like Huckerby again will be if they are brought through the academy.
  19. We are very poor in the centre of the park, with no attacking midfielder to contribute with any goals. This has been a huge problem since Damien Francis left and why no management team has done anything about it is simply digusting. We are also very weak at full back, as neither Otsemobor or Bertrand can defend, which is a major downfall for any defender!! I think the other areas of the side would have been ok if we solved the issues above assuming we had played Lupoli on a regular basis
  20. Couldn''t agree more!! It is cringeworthy reading such rubbish, when they players seem to be incapable of producing the performances they know are required!
  21. Would agree totally with most of your points, with the excepton of the Lappin comments. We all know that Lappin is not up to Championship standard from his time in the 1st team, but last night totally confirmed it for me. There is no doubt he can deliver a ball, but I thought he looked very average last night against poor opposition. Im afraid people a clutching at straws with the Lappin campaign. The fact that he is happy to play in games like last night sums him up really. He is obviously just happy to take the money Norwich pay, play the odd reserve game, with the knowledge nobody else would be stupid enough to pay him as well for someone of his ability. If this is not true, the why doesnt he just leave??
  22. Would totally agree. Pattison was quite shocking really. The most alarming thing was the amount of times he gave the ball away against ametur players. I though Carney looked ok, but he did hold onto the ball too long on a number of occasions. This was the first time I have seen the reserves this season & I now know why Glenn Roeder would not entertain playing any of the young lads. Was hoping to be excited by 1 or 2 players, but left the game pretty dissapointed. Also reaslised what a joke Pattison is. To think we paid a fee for him is a disgrace. How anybody can think that he or Lappin should be in the 1st team squad is beyond me!!
  23. The sponsors decided that Croft would be man of the match before the game because they wanted to meet him afterwards. Unfortunately the MOM award on the matchday is rarely a true reflectaion of a MOM performance. Elswhere Carl Court was given the MOM award, which after speaking to a few people who went to the game was far more justified.
  24. Yes - If he won''t sign a contract them we have to sell him now. 500k would be better than loosing him in the summer on a free & we are yet to see Bell play his best position at Right Mid. Would Croft have been as effective if he was made to play on the left each week, like Bell?? Croft tries hard, but he is a winger who has no pace and can''t cross the ball. I would have bitten anyones hand off who offered 500k a year or so ago, but I would say that he is having his best season.
  25. Its quite simple - he is not up to championship standard. Have people forgotten what he was like when he last played??!!
