1. Nugent has pledged his immediate future to Pompey so that ones a no go too , Twtd are getting a little worked up about some rumour in the Sky rumour room of Shaun Wright Phillips coming here on loan , surely thats got to be rubbish .
2. Billy Sharp i do not think he would leave Yorkshire Charlie Austin great league 1 record but so did JacksonNicky Maynard is class but been out injured all season Nugent would be a great signing and Blackpool were said to be interested at around £500,000 , at that price it would be a steal.
3. Would prefer a Ched Evans or Billy Sharp .
4. Looks like Lansbury is back on loan untill the end of the season so we have possibly given up on Bennett
5. Story on the BBC site says we are weighing up whether to go for it big time or not , looks like we may have decided yes
6. Got to be looking for a minimum of 7 from those fixtures if we are going to be serious top 2 contenders.
7. Jay Emanuel Thomas off to Cardiff and QPR on the verge of signing Routledge , we could do with a couple of decent signings to show our intent .
8. Will go for nearer the £2 million mark , £650,000 would be laughed at , thought Hull had already had £1.2 million bid turned down .
9. Vital Brighton reporting they have turned down a £1 million bid from Norwich .
10.

Cody would do no worse than Chris Martin. Fact.
Suggest you check the definition of "fact".  This is your opinion, and one which lots of people would disagree with.  Opinion.
Martin has scored what is it 1 in 10 now , stretching it a bit to even class him as a striker , i would prefer to give Jackson a run of 10 games and see if his return is any worse.
11.

Jackson used to score for fun at league 1 and 2 level , Cody would be as out of his depth as the rest of our strikers at this level .
So did Holt, as did Ted MacDougall before we signed them. Your logic is flawed !!
Lambert agrees or Cody wouldnt be at Gillingham .
12. Jackson used to score for fun at league 1 and 2 level , Cody would be as out of his depth as the rest of our strikers at this level .
13.

Nothing stupid about that post at all , Lambert has been very hit and miss in the transfer market and i would guess the misses are a fair way out in front actually .
T wat
Truth hurts obviously , why dont you list all his wonderful successes then ?
14.
"Nothing stupid about that post at all , Lambert has been very hit and miss in the transfer market and i would guess the misses are a fair way out in front actually" Compared to your post you are right, it doesn''t so so stupid.
Depends on your opinion i suppose , go through his signings one by one and not that many are that good , Jackson  what is it 4 goals and overlooked in favour of a mis firing Chris Martin , Oli Jonson cannot get a game , McNamee when he starts hes dire , Wilbraham not good enough for MK Dons first team , Whitbread and Surman and Smith calling them  injury prone is an understatement , Fox run of the mill , Ruddy plenty are unsure of him even now . Hardly a list of resounding success in the transfer market is it , but if you continually buy low cost lower league players its to be expected..
15. Nothing stupid about that post at all , Lambert has been very hit and miss in the transfer market and i would guess the misses are a fair way out in front actually .
16. We are desperate for a goalscorer , Martin ,Jackson,Wilbraham and Johnson cannot buy a goal between them , without a goalscorer coming in i can see us fading away second half of the season . We could also do with Lansbury staying untill the end of the season if he goes back to Arsenal  then far from " going for it " we could end January weaker than we started it .
17.

Yet another unerwhelming signing , i thought we were going to strengthen for the final push but yet again its a lower league signing.
OH DEAR!!!! nuff said
I think Jackson , Wilbraham and Oli Johnson are nuff said , all proving to be not good enough .
18. Yet another unerwhelming signing , i thought we were going to strengthen for the final push but yet again its a lower league signing.
19. Race is on to sign city strikers Star local strikers Leigh Griffiths and David Goodwillie could both be heading for the English Premiership as the race for their signatures gathers pace (writes Tom Duthie). The Evening Telegraph can reveal Wolves have tabled a bid in excess of £100,000 for Dundee front man Griffiths. For full version of this story, get tonight’s Evening Telegraph.
20. Tough game and with Leeds and Swansea having very god chances of home wins if we slip up we look likely to drop to 5th .
21.
Who gives a toss anyway. I think the "small club" comment is brilliant and will have ruffled some burnley feathers
It will certainly make them raise their game a notch or to when we play them .
22. Surely we all ready have enough League 1 strikers on the books , what  happened to the Martin Paterson rumours ? now that would have been a good signing.
