Good manager and one who could do a job for you guys.Who ever you get you have to remember that this year could be extremely difficult for the manager coming in. What happens if the new guy doesn''t keep you boys up?! Will you want him sacked in the summer?! Most likely I''d expect.

That''s the route I will be taking on Sunday to Attleborough, but the A12 route back home after Beccles.As for Tilly I personally think that he would gain much by moving onto other club as sometimes I feel that he can be tatically naive. ah yes, our lovely blue belles! something to watch at half time. there was a rumour circulating that they were gonna be dropped from the half time entertainment. alot of people moaned about that (say 5 or so) and then the club quickly squashed the rumour. i would be nice if they did a different routine, but it''s the same each game. last year the doncaster rovers mascot livened things up by dancing with the girls! got a huge round of cheering from those fans present that day!

i believe that croft has been reported for swearing to the southend crowd by the stewards. as for the coin throwing, that is the first i have heard about that.

doc was awesome for you tonight. was on the end of all but one cross that we stuck into the box. gallagher did indeed pull of a few important saves. but as bad as your players were southend''s were just as bad, stupid mistakes in the defence cost us 3 goals.

if you can chuck in paul mcveigh into the deal as well i''d be happy!!! rumours have it that derby had a £1.5m bid turned down, and simon jordan claim we are asking for silly money. so i have to reckon it will be around the £4m mark. but as sir quinny stated i don''t think eastwood will be moving anytime soon. close of season will be the earliest IMAO.

the value that he brings to your club is uniting the supporters behind one common clause..... Getting rid of him.

[/quote] Tilly won''t be leaving Southend, he is one of those players who played his entire career for one league club. I refused to play for another league club when released even tho the offers were there and went to play for the local non-league side. I reckon his managerial career will be very similar. The guy is worshipped down here and has been known to get the best out of his players. He turned a team that was going out of the football league to winning two back to back promotions. He has achieved it with no money, and only brought in players who he felt could do the business. Even if they were out of flavour with their current clubs. Alot of people have been slating the signing of Ricketts, which is fair enough as people are entitled to their opinion. But I reckon Tilson will get the best out of him, once he is back to full fitness. One final thing, having spend the last 2 years living with Sir Quinny and regularly speaking to another Norwich fan I feel that the Worthless bashing is fully deserved. That guy has no clue, and your club (which I do now follow after many years of brain washing by Sir Quinny) will not move forward until you replace him.
