1.
What about all the players he brought in in January , that team at Charlton was Gunns team , crap manager who has signed a few freebies beat a couple of Scottish minnows and the idiots that follow this club suddenly think hes the best thing since sliced bread .Wait untill the season starts and the bad results start rolling in we wont be seeing all these stupid well done Gunny posts then .
Loan City FC to Freebie City FC, that''s very good, horribly inaccurate, but let''s not make you anymore miserable than you already are by dissecting how wrong you are. Moan City FC would have been easier for you to morph into, less spelling and everything and more accurate.

  2.
I''m surprised Man City sold him-and Sturridge, come to that. The pair of them could have been their front duo this season, in a team made up from their excellent Academy. I am sure the fans would have loved to have seen that sort of team being put together, rather than the "pick and mix" policy that they are following at the moment.

I think he will be a big success at Sheff Utd and they will sell him for big money within 18 months, maybe even less than that-and I wouldn''t discount Ched going to one of the "big four" either ultimately. He''s that good.

    Good luck to him.
It''s an interesting debate, would Sturridge and Ched have scored more than a combination of Roque, Robinho, Tevez or Adebayor? I think in terms of effort the first two would be more committed whereas the others obviously have experience and class. Obviously the money men wanted names and reputation so they end up selling they''re great youngsters, something United, who I have no love for, would be unlikely to do. All money and no sense perhaps.

  3. This is all irrelevant as he is the manager until he fails, leaves for another club, becomes director of football or retires. The past may indicate that he will fail or that he has learnt from last season. I''m looking forward to finding out as the squad seems OK for this league.

Talking up the chances of a squad seriously lacking in quality as promotion candidates.

Dear oh dear oh dear... when will some of you lot learn???  [:$]
It''s just opinions, nobody knows yet. You being obnoxious in passing yours is the only difference, that and the soles of your shoes hanging out of Cluck''s a*se.

  5.
This thread rather confirms my first impressions of this board, dominated by a small clique of inward looking posters who have rather over-rated their own sense of humour. I think quite a few folk are transferring to other sites, because we are interested in Norwich City.
Good shout, but I think a lot of people on here recognise they are a bunch of hideous old sad acts and treat them with the appropriate level of contempt. If City do anything above awful next season they will only appear when we lose games, allowing the rest of us to talk about football rather than self promoting ourselves.

Have Southampton signed anyone decent yet [:^)]

As far as I can make out they''ve signed Dan Harding on a free and have offered a contract extension to Stern John. Is that ''ambitious''?
roeder signed players!! Delia has dunk dropped us into the third tier off football!! Thats not ambition, yes players are coming in,but if we had a squad in the first place we wouldnt have to think the influx is ambition! But i do think we are heading in the right direction,i just dont feel crediting delia is right!
Given what''s been happening today, that all seems a little churlish. Yes she still owns the club, but it seems to me she isn''t running it at any level other than the pie choice perhaps. I don''t care because we seem to moving forward under new rules and new financial conditions which I can live with. I don''t need an Arab or an an invisible man to buy my club when you can see changes for the best.
I read on the Lowestoft, Oulton and Blundeston Rumours site that Holt was approached by an elderly crazy man looking strangely like Uncle Albert from Only Fools and Horses who offered £11.79 in loose change and a bag of bloaters to go to Notts County or stay at Shrewsbury, as the old man wished to,  "protect his long established reputation". Holt is now considering is position with regards to Norwich City unless the club commit to 24 hour protection when he is in East Anglia.
[:D][:D][:D]
Haha, looks like Uncle Albert might regret giving those bloaters away.
Criminal waste of good bloaters,

  8. but if Maric says yes and we sign Asouka too, there''s going to be a lot of angry, miserable doom mongers  on this board, or probably not on this board. The artist previously known as Loan City and Ray Winstone''s double Barclay Boy are going to run out of negatives or explode trying. I can''t wait to hear what those two and the Purists are going to come up with, it''s going to be great. Bring it on, the optimists are rising up!

With several new players being signed some of whom have commanded a fee and others such as Hughes on a reportedly very high wage I wonder if Norwich can now afford them with its new reduced income. It''s also suggested we will be signing Holt for arround £450K. We were losing at least 1-2 million a year over the last few years with a higher income. At the moment I only see losses increasing.

Clignan and Russel  have not gone yet and even if they do I think that some of the other high earners will also have to leave or be sold to afford the new boys. One or two more players are still needed and a proven taget man will cost money in either wages and or a fee. In some other areas we now have too many players for them all to get a game unless there is a very serious injury crisis so some more departures are needed especially with some of the younger players looking like first team possibilities.
So are you suggesting we''re signing too many players? Board showing an excess of ambition! BOOO!!!
Calculating Bastards! Is there no end to their cunning?

Can''t believe Gunny didn''t mention Jimmy Neighbour in his list of wing legends!
I know and suggesting that Kenny Foggo was involved in the ''59 Cup Run!

  11.
Maybe you should wait for the season to start and wait to see how these freebies and their amateur manager get on , my guess would be another season of struggle .
Really Loan City Fc, that''s not like you, where''s the sunny optimism gone? Also shouldn''t you change your user name to Terminally Negative About Any Players Whatever Their Contract Status FC to retain accuracy, unless Ben Alnwick is really the player that''s getting you so uncharacteristically down. Just a thought.
