    Good luck to him.[/quote]It''s an interesting debate, would Sturridge and Ched have scored more than a combination of Roque, Robinho, Tevez or Adebayor? I think in terms of effort the first two would be more committed whereas the others obviously have experience and class. Obviously the money men wanted names and reputation so they end up selling they''re great youngsters, something United, who I have no love for, would be unlikely to do. All money and no sense perhaps.

    This is all irrelevant as he is the manager until he fails, leaves for another club, becomes director of football or retires. The past may indicate that he will fail or that he has learnt from last season. I''m looking forward to finding out as the squad seems OK for this league.

If City do anything above awful next season they will only appear when we lose games, allowing the rest of us to talk about football rather than self promoting ourselves.

Yes she still owns the club, but it seems to me she isn''t running it at any level other than the pie choice perhaps. I don''t care because we seem to moving forward under new rules and new financial conditions which I can live with.     but if Maric says yes and we sign Asouka too, there''s going to be a lot of angry, miserable doom mongers  on this board, or probably not on this board. The artist previously known as Loan City and Ray Winstone''s double Barclay Boy are going to run out of negatives or explode trying. I can''t wait to hear what those two and the Purists are going to come up with, it''s going to be great. Bring it on, the optimists are rising up!
