Mckenzie and Earnshaw ?
Rotherhithe Canary replied to HertsCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think it''ll be one of the best partnerships in the championship this season if worthy plays them both together !!! What do you think ?
definately!! i m a big fan of mackenzie, i honestly think this partnership could fire us in to the playoffs, provided they grt the right service ie. balls to feet or through balls behind the defence rather a hoof from the doc -
wot??? under-rated? i think the ONLY under-rated player in our squad is mackenzie, henderson is terrible, for a striker he has awful goal instincts ( miss against sheff wed away last year ), can someone please point out any of his good qualities? he has been a good young prospect for 3 years now, he should no longer be a prospect, he should now be either a good player or a bad player, no more ''in a few years''

finally some positive posting, thank u for getting behind the team -
14/1 is very very slim for a side that failed so miserably last season and have no new players , with what we have now 14/1 to finish in the top ten would be about right.
bit dramatic, even if we maintain the team we had last year we still finished in the top 10, and had terrible luck with injuries

I put 10 pounds on us every year to get promoted, except obviously last year, i bet we would avoid relegation (s**t, sorry!!!), i think 14-1 are probably about right, for me birmingham will walk the league, but i think the reason that our odds are lower than some may have thought is due to the fact that in previous years everyone seems to beat everyone in this league making it very unpredictable ( reading and watford??)

i wouldn t have gone so far as saying we were 100% improved but it was just so refreshing to see the plyers looking up and playing the simple ball rather than resorting to hit and hope -

Fakenham, what's the score?
Rotherhithe Canary replied to Herb's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
4-nil -
i know the opposition was fakenham but it was so refreshing to see city trying to play proper football, safri especially was good, even hughes was kepping it on the deck to feet(mostly), and i am also encourages by our youth players comin through, in warm up we were watching keeper joe lewis and he looked exceptional, eagle and asmat el quagi(???) looked very good wingers, although i ve since found out that asmat is a striker but overall i was very encourages by the game last night, makes me feel slightly better about lack of signings

crow certainly has shown his class at peterborough, i rated spillane when he played, not a fan of henderson/ryan jarvis. rossi has potential though -

Oh my god!!!! Will this Worthy bashing never end. Now you want Worthy to sign a striker so he can play him on the right wing. Or is it the left?
To answer that, erm, no it won''t stop. Because he deserves it. He has bought it on himself.
Worthy has lost the plot worst midfield in the division and no signs of signing any midfielders its becoming a big worry before we have kicked the season off.I generally think he is well happy with the midfield we had last season no creativity at all.
i know our midfield is poor, but worst midfield in the division is a bit melodramatic -
IMO opinion one of the premierships most promising young players, has signed for southampton for 1million pounds, WHY DID WE NOT MOVE????? he would have been fantastic on the right or even a replacement for the under performing huckerby and at 1million surely within our buying liniys considering we were reportedly willing to spend 2million on hulse, this is another sign of worthys poor market skills.
