  1. the pre-season friendly at Dartford will be a good warm up for a season in Division 1.
  2. If the flag still needs to be sprayed for fire retardancy I can arrange that - it''s what my father-in-law does for a living amongst other things? He has done others before including the one that used to be at Carrow Road - give me a shout!
  3. I for one am not convinced that he is the answer we are looking for - but it does appear that all of a sudden he is the answer to all of our problems. Some may say a''la Cureton - at least one thing we can say is that Ryan is still a Norwich player at the end of the day!! I truly hope he returns and bags loads of goals.....fingers crossed.  One thing I can say for sure is that his father is a very nice man - I travelled to Northampton for that dreaded midweek League cup game at Sixfields not knowing that the game was sold out for away fans and ''Mr Jarvis senior'' gave me a spare ticket that he had..................if you ever visit here Mr Jarvis........Thankyou for that. (although the game and the result were awful, you cannot be blamed for that!!!)
  4. I got to say that I am looking forward to it sunset, there is about a dozen of us going up from Lowestoft and Beccles on a mini bus which is leaving Lowestoft at 04:30!!!! Needless to say we are going to be staying the night in Blackpool so should be a good one!!
  5. I say ricardo..............how do you think Earnshaw''s injury is going to affect our goal difference, it''s certainly not going to improve it in my opinion??
  6. I still think its a little peculiar sending these renewals out!! I am not one of the doom and gloom crew but we genuinely do not know what division we will be in next season - I know its very, very unlikely but not mathematically impossible to say that we will not make the play-offs and get into the Prem. Similarly (and perhaps more likely) we could get relegated!! So what I am trying to say is that today - all three divisions are possible and that has to be taken into account with regard to ticket prices?
  7. Im watching game at home but i would rather be down the pub......I have got to drive into Norwich around 18:30 so cannot drink so watching at home is the better option i feel. Come on city 0-2 I am hoping for.             OTBC
  8. have a look here within these ''rumours and gossip'' and it would appear that it is Megson and not Worthy?? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/default.stm I realise that Megosn has not won the Championship recently but he is not far off the criteria dont you think???
  9. So what date do you think the latest that any new signings could  be made and still have the required time to settle in and become accustomed to the ''way of the Worthy'' Or perhaps that date has already passed? I really think that new players need a minimum of 3 weeks just to get used to the squad/training and method of play etc. A great deal has been said recently of the need of these new players to get a house arranged (which we all know takes time) and relocate children regarding schooling etc. I feel that it is not until these items have been addressed that a player can start to play and concentrate on the football itself.
  10. Well put guys........I enjoyed reading through those and pretty much agree............it makes a very pleasant change to read a couple of genuine posts from Norwich City fans with some thought and sense within them and none of the usual negative abuse to the Management and/or playing staff.   Its still early days yet and lets hope with 2 or 3 good signings we shall have a good season - We deserve it, the best fans in the division by a mile!!!! OTBC.............Come On
  11. I went over there a couple of seasons ago for the friendly and had a good day out therefore am looking forward to doing it all again. You never know Rob Newman may even come on to remind us of his lightening pace? I do have a soft spot for the guy and I hope he continues to do a good job at Cambridge but you gotta admit he does not appear in many lists of top 50 Norwich players - not like the legend that was Paul Haylock. Heres to a grand day out and an enjoyable friendly. OTBC
  12.   NOW THAT REALLY WOULD BE THE FINAL STRAW FOR ME AND MANY OTHERS ALSO, I AM SURE. I know of about 1 supporter that would not be too bothered with that news....Morty are you reading these posts???????
  13. Cheers for the welcomes guys and i am aware of the slightly negative air that does shroud this board form time to time!!!!!!!!!!!!! At the end of the day i am sure that all have the same dreams for our club. If every post received a reply of ''YES, I AGREE'' from every poster it would be very dull to say the least, dont you think??
  14. I have been a regular ''viewer'' but have now registered so jsut thought I would say Hi guys and lets hope we have a good season - I kinda think we will.
