  1. chill out, polar I''m not a chav. just excersing my right to free speech. we''re all allowed our opinions.
  2. Is anyone else happy that Huckerby is leaving.  Lazy, limited influence on the team and a waste of money on 15k a week.  Good riddance Dazza!
  3. Does anyone else reckon the length of Adam Drury''s contract is far far to long? 4 years is ridiculous, 1-2 years at the most would be plenty for a player who has hardly been inspirational this season.  Offering mediocre championship players a contract of that length is financial madness!
  4. I think that it is very important indeed that Brian Robson is not considered for the new managerial job at Norwich.  There was no hiding the fact that while at West Brom he and Earnshaw did not see eye to eye especially due to the fact that Earnshaw stated that he would have had to turn ''water into wine'''' in order to be considered for first team selection under Robson.  Surely we must avoid selecting a new manager who is not going to get the best out of or get on with our best and most important player.
  5. Next season has to be one of the most important in the clubs recent history.  With parachute payments from our season in the premiership ending it has to be of paramount importance to the long term success of our club that we get promotion next season- if not it will have very serious impacts on our long term stability.  For this reason if the board has any sense left at all then they must stretch our very tight purse strings a little and provide worthington with a decent kitty to play with.  Surely there must be some money left from the sale of Ashton as Earnshaw only cost half that and also we are due 6 million in parachute payments.  I really do think that if the board donĀ“t make at least half this money available then they are being very short sighted indeed.  With around 3 million we could get the big centre forward we need, a midfielder and a defender which would put us in a position to mount a serious promotion push, if the squad stays as it is then we have no chance. Surely it is worth a degree of financial risk to try and get back in the premiership this season? it has to be a bigger financial risk in the long term if we do not invest over the summer......
