Rio Ferdinand Tweeting over G Holt
Largey replied to Viva_Marc_Libbra's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
All he said was he thinks Holt is a great player...he hasn''t recited our last 5 seasons game by game! -
Norwich vs. Stoke Player Ratings

I actually think C Martin had no worse of a game than Holt today. Holty tried hard but looked a little slow and cumbersome at times. This may of been because he wasn''t dominating the air as usual. C Martin strangely won more in the air, but neither of them really got a decent chance to shoot today which was annoying, That being said, Holt wasn''t poor and I''d have him starting against Chelsea no doubt!

Bent, Aggy and N''Zogbia would be our best players if ey were here so I think they are quite a way away from us!
-
Am I the only person who would like to see these players playing against us at Carrow Road?! Surely the point of being in the Prem is to play against the best players!

Spoke too soon perhaps.....

Season ticket seats for MK Dons.......
Largey replied to barclaystand's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Why care if you can''t sit in your season ticket seat? I sit in the upper Barclay so I can''t sit in my ST seat! -
Cannot disagree with that Ricardo. I thought Bennetts crossing was super and Tierney looked as fit as a fiddle. Fox was composed and sent some lovely balls over the defence, where Jackson was as sharp as ever although should have scored twice, and Holt looked stronger than before and controlled the ball better. The new players gelled in well and the flow from last season was still apparent, My MOTM would go to Hoolahan, he was excellent on the ball.
-
Yes Tierney looks great today, worked tirelessly, must be as fit as Russell Martin now. Great challenges and speed. I would very very surprised if he doesn''t start at LB against Wigan.
-
Yes, because no one has let themselves down. I''d say the only definites in my opinion, are Ruddy, Tierney, De Laet, Fox, Hoolahan and Holt. You fit the rest?!
-
I would usually see Crofts ahead of Surman and Bennett but both played well today and fitted into the shape in midfield really well.

just coincidence?
Largey replied to Barking Mad Barclay Boy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
You are about a week too late but I''ll point you in the right direction ;) When squad numbers were released, these 5 plus Tudur Jones weren''t given numbers...a sure sign they won''t be playing a part next season for City, Tudur Jones has since gone to Inverness and the other 5 are looking for new clubs or collecting pay packets whilst sitting at home. None of them have taken part in pre season and none are training with the first team. -
Casual Tickets - Proof of Age?
Largey replied to norfolkbroadslim's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I''d imagine if they ask you for ID they will take your date of birth. If it''s the first time you''ve purchased tickets I''m pretty sure they will take your details down...and if it''s not then they should have them on file. Always worth calling up beforehand just to check though for peace of mind :) -
Thanks Gareth, an insightful comment which doesn''t border on a ridiculous opinion and just says it how you see it.

Casual Tickets - Proof of Age?
Largey replied to norfolkbroadslim's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Depends if you are close to the age brackets of U12, U16 or Over 65, as it''s likely they will ask you for ID. If you''re after an adult ticket then no, as they are the most expensive. -
Gallas wore number 10 at Arsenal and Diaby wears number 2. It''s just superstition.

NAME THAT TEAM v Chelsea (a) 2007
Largey replied to Pete Raven's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I remember this game well as it was one of my few away trips. We should have gone ahead when Etuhu''s shot hit the post and rebounded to an unmarked Croft who, with an open goal in front of him, side footed it straight at Boulahrouz! We then went down a goal after a hammy SWP shot deflected in. David Marshall made his last app of his loan spell as he went off injured after twisting awkwardly on the sandy goalmouth, to be replaced by Gallacher. I always thought Chris Martin played up front, as he scored in the 3-2 victory against Blackpool the round before...was he injured or suspended?? Cech also made a fantastic save to deny Croft when it was 2-0 I think. Got to see one of the best ever strikers in Shevchenko (although he was rubbish at Chelsea) and my best memory was the 6,000 City fans out singing the Chelsea fans after they scored their 4th goal. OTBC outlasted their goal celebrations! -
E-mail address for ticket office?
Largey replied to curly_whirly_tipz's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think tickets@NCFC-canaries.co.uk will get you there too -
Thanks again Purple.. I have located the terms and conditions on the club website under ''online contract formation - section 18'' and it mentions that the contract does not become accepted or binding until the tickets are posted to me. The receipt sent is just acknowledgement of my request to purchase the tickets. let''s see what they say and if this is brought up....
-
Yes I agree September 1st is a logical date, but I simply can''t see it mentioned anywhere. I will have to ask the club to provide evidence to prove this is documented. Is the onus on me to spot their mistake after I''ve effectively accepted their offer by paying for the season ticket?
-
Thank you Purple, that''s very useful information which I hope to use in my next email to the club. I mentioned smiley''s case in my previous email, however the chap that called me decided to cling onto the thought that someone posting on a message board was probably on a windup and the club doesn''t intentionally sell U21 tickets to people who they know are 21 or over. I can''t precisely remember if I got a renewal letter through or not, but I definitely paid online the day before the first renewal and was definitely asked to pay only £177. As I''ve said and as you say, I had no other reason to believe this was the incorrect amount and from that point up until last weekend I firmly believed the under 21 ''cut off'' must be the date of the start of the season. The chap who called me said the 1st September cut off date is in their terms and conditions, I will have a thorough search for that as well as a possible renewal letter. Thanks again for your help guys I will let you know if I make any advances on this. I''m not clued up on the legalities so it''s good to hear that others believe my argument isn''t just sour grapes.
-
I have paid the extra as I simply do not want to miss out on next season. I''ll have to check through the T and C''s carefully, I''m sure a part of it says ''NCFC reserve the right to amend ticket prices'' or to that effect but it''s worth me checking. Thank you for highlighting the contract law and the legalities, I understand it somewhat as I''ve been studying that for an insurance exam! I''ll assess the situation over the next couple of days and go from there. I certainly haven''t mislead the club!
