  1. As previous poster said, I''m one from the back and you can''t see the end scoreboard, but as long as you can count that isn''t a problem. Great view and good atmosphere too!
  2. Why are people putting Hoolahan out wide in their formations. How many times does it have to be proven...he isn''t a winger! He is effective in the middle of the pitch! Same goes for people suggesting Morison/Holt could play wide. Play players in their naturals positions. We havent done well over recent times when experimenting with a new formation, as we need time to develop that on the training pitch. So I''d hate to see us try out a new formation against an in-form Arsenal. 4-5-1 as per Man Utd/Bolton/Sunderland/Swansea as we know we play best in this situation. For me personally, same line up as faced Swansea.
  3. Carson and Stockdale won''t get in the team so it doesn''t matter too much. It''ll matter moreso when the Euros come round and World Cup qualifying starts! Ruddy has the whole season to impress...!
  4. Yes, good on them. I think we would do the same which is nice, too.
  5. How would you have stopped Agbonlahor? I don''t think anyone would have. The cross should have been blocked before it got to Bent.
  6. I didn''t think before today we could play those 4 together in a 4-4-2 flat midfield, and after today I''m not convinced either. Hoolahan isn''t strong enough to play central midfield, however would you drop him now and play another man up top, or would you change it to a diamond midfield to accommodate Hoolahan and Holt and Morison, but lose the width we''ve been exploiting over the season? Tough choice! I think it''s either got to be a 4-4-2 without Hoolahan, a 4-5-1 without Holt, or a 4-3-1-2 without Pilkington and Bennett (unless you play either/or at the sides of the diamond). How about the diamond midfield of Fox, Johnson, Pilkington and Hoolahan, with Holt and Morison up top?
  7. Now about to come on the show, should you be interested... Sky Sports Two
  8. I would say taking crosses is one of Ruddys strong points, but you may draw on a couple of recent mishaps and suggest otherwise!
  9. Petr Cech was beaten at his near post for Arsenals 5th goal at the weekend. It happens. You should be more concerned if he is flapping at crosses or kicking poorly. But he isn''t. He nearly stumbled into the goal with the ball - but he didn''t. He strikes me as a man with a lot of self belief, which is paramount for a keeper. You are comparing his recent performance to the high standard he has set throughout the season, which is fair, and isn''t wasn''t as good as the Liverpool game, but we must have the belief in him because Lambert has stuck by him throughout his time here and when has Lambert got a decision wrong?!
  10. I''m pretty sure 95% of these early leavers do so to ''beat the traffic'' or ''beat the queues'' at the pub! These are the type that arrive 3mins late, go down for a pint and a pie at 42mins, return on 48mins, and leave at 85mins regardless of the score. You pay your money to do what you want, but no one leaves the Theatre early to pick up a child/visit a sick relative. If that was the case, you simply wouldn''t go in the first place. It baffles me why people leave early, but at the end of the day they are the ones missing out so they get what they give.
  11. I think Naughton has done brilliantly so far this season. His defending is top rate (the number of times he puts in last ditch tackles is exceptional), his pace obviously helps and he offers himself well in attacking situations too.
  12. Pretty harsh penalty decision but hopefully that evens out the pen for Stoke earlier in the season!
  13. FIFA is for people who are easily pleased. FIFA is for people who play the game on the easiest difficulty setting, just so they win every game 6-0. FIFA is for people who support lower league teams, and win the Champions League with them in their 3rd season. FIFA is the Nani of football games. PES is the Park Ji-Sung. Reliable, honest, hard working, passionate, tough tackling, dedicated. No frills, just a solid game. The gameplay - which in my opinion has always been better on PES - is pretty incredible this year. I prefer it a lot more than 2011. Goals are rewarded with a feeling of self-worth. On FIFA, goals are just greeted with the opportunity to perform your favourite backflips with Emile Heskey. FIFA is a game for kids, parties and people who enjoy a 6-0 drubbing over a non-league side. PES is for hardcore grassroots fans who enjoy beating their local rivals 4-3 with a 94th minute goal line scramble tap-in.
  14. The fact that this guy rated the Swansea players higher than the Norwich players says it all about the accuracy of these ratings.
  15. Lucas is banned for our game. Hopefully that means Gerrard will sit back.
  16. If you thought he was poor you must feel disappointed with every refereeing display!
  17. I know this was discussed many times before on here, but am I right in thinking that the foundations and/or design of the Jarrold Stand meant that we couldn''t add a second tier onto it? Or was that just questioned?
  18. Carl Robinson scored an outstanding goal against Barnsley in 2007 (I think), and celebrated like Cantona. That''s more than I ever remember Jason Jarrett, Omar Koroma, James Henry, David Strihavka and Ian Murray ever doing combined!
  19. Ian Murray wasn''t a good player for us but he too didn''t have many kind words to say about Roeder when he left the club. Didn''t he suggest chucking a game once because he was so sick of Roeder....?
