  1. Looking at other ties...I wouldnt have this down as guaranteed tv Chelsea v villa Spurs v man city WBA v Wolves Forest v West Ham Newport or Eastleigh v Man Utd
  2. Financial reasons aside....it would far better aid our players to go off for a week of warm weather training around 4th round weekend than go up there and act as training cones for 90 mins
  3. F uck that....throw the replay I'd rather we have a 2 week break than go up there to get hammered by those c#nts
  4. The guard of honour at Cardiff was therefore very public show to create a smokescreen
  5. Dont think anything has gone wrong, just dont think he was that good in the first place...its only a reasonable passing range thats sets him above a Shaun Carey ..that said he was better than Forshaw yesterday. Could do with sending him out to a top 8 League One club for the rest of the sesson to get a run of games (if he's good enough)
  6. No...in the same way Tettey isnt anymore
  7. ...it was a 'cup crowd' Sat in my usual seat in Barclay black D today....didnt recognise anyone for 2 blocks either side of me
  8. If the booing helps to remove the manager...then yes , its helping
  9. Only thing to come out of today is that we can definitively see what ouf 1st XI now is. Some of our shadow squad are of league one standard
  10. Wagners landed himself a problem now Hull away Bristol r away Wba home Leeds away....a run that could cost him his job Relying on Leeds winning their cup game tomorrow now to at least get the away game there postponed on 4th round day
  11. I dont really know what that would mean? Onel has put the cross in and he didnt commit to it
  12. Why would any striker not slide in for Herenandez's cross?!?
  13. We cant bemoan that fact that we, until 4 or 5 weeks ago, had the worst defensive record in the whole league and then criticise the mansger for doing something about it. If anything he was too slow to react defensively. The early warning signs were there in the 4-4 at Southampton and then further exposed at the shambolic Plymouth game. He did very little to try to address that for 2 whole months, until the 1-0 vs QPR. Maybe if we would have defended like we did yesterday after going in front at home to Leeds, we would have won that game? I would still say however that the signing of a good CDM would still allow us to defend and attack in a game without having to go 5 at the back
  14. Priority is to win , above giving players minutes to get the Leeds game postponed on 4th round day and break up a tough looking run of fixtures. (I wouldnt trust Leeds to beat Peterboro away as Farke will pick a side to get knocked out!) We also dont particularly want a draw and a replay. Think I heard Wagner say that Barnes will start this game after yesterdays game I will guess at.. Long Fisher Batth Gibson McCallum (or Placheta if Giannoulis isnt fit) Forshaw Gibbs Fassnacht Barnes Hernandez Sargent 45mins /Idah 45mins
  15. Lets see what happens moving forward now with fully fit squad Today i'll put down as a one off, a back 5 picked because off the opposition I cant think that we'd play like this vs lesser opposition and will revert to a back 4. Hanley and Duffy 'should' be our first choice CB's How he sets up in fron of that will be telling. Sara and Nunez 'should' remain in our midfield
  16. Maybe he should concentrate on his own side....2 pts from 6 ..against us!
  17. We could have gone in with a more positive formation, as we did away at Southampton..and could well have let 4 in again, I dont think we would have scored 4 though as we did in August
  18. Gibbs isnt a defensive midfielder, Sorenson is crocked, Forshaw??....who knows what the hell is happening there, I wont even mention the other candidate in terms of the type of midfielder required We currenntly have 'nobody' in that role, whilst other clubs are maybe trying to improve their starting XI's, we're requiring our recruitment team to improve upon 'nobody' ....I dont believe they cannot do that. However as previously mentioned, I question whether they actuslly see it as even a necessity/priority??
  19. ...we currently have nobody to play that role, so if our recruitment team cant find anyone in the whole wide world of football to improve upon that situation, the whole lot need sacking
  20. Of course somebody within 10 mins of Big Ben's chimes which marks the opening of the transfer window will quip "Why havent we signed anyone yet?" ...well this season it will be a serious question Now surely if the club have been acting appropriately over these past few weeks and months ,they will have identified and lined up a defensive midfielder to walk through the door within the next 48 hrs or so to address the gaping hole in the team If not ,we can only assume this isnt seen as a priority or a nessessity?, either of which is gross neglegence
  21. He clearly was able to persuade the board that the injuries we've had were a mitigating factor. Well that excuse has been removed now he has an almost (bar giannoulis) full squad available It now purely stands of falls on his team selections and subs
  22. He should be at very least eclipsing Gustavo Hamer at Coventry last season , who got 9 goals and 6 assists, which was enough to earn him a premier league move That is of course he wants to stay in England, Spain or Italy maybe his next preferred destination
  23. Assuming Wagner doesnt 'actually' draw names out of a hat when picking his team, if think it will be similar to Leicester (home), we'll attempt to combat their passing game by putting an extra midfielder in by playing all 3 of Sara Nunez McLean...probably put up a reasonable show but ultimately get picked off ..0-2
  24. Yes , there is a 12-15 goal a season midfielder there if he was allowed to play further forward and not be asked to be ball winning on the edge of his own box or dropping deep to pick the ball up from the back 4
