  1. Well I have found the dressing room, it was masquerading as summer house in the back garden of a house in Seething............
  2. Depends if they take the message on board and knuckle down in training. There is alleged interest in Todd from Leeds, not sure there are any alleged offers for Emi. On that basis, and if he responds positively to the statement from DF then I think Emi will be playing, the attack on Todd was much more concerted so I have a feeling that he will be off to another club.........
  3. Shame Todd Cantwell is not playing, he would have injected a bit of skill and graft to the team and may have grabbed a goal.........
  4. This, I would say he is worth more than £20M given his age, potential, nationality, England U21 caps, Premier League experience and Premier League performances/goals in, lets face it, a team not good enough for that league. Imagine what he could do in an half decent Premier League team.............
  5. It is not particularly difficult to change your posting style to disguise who you are........
  6. Only posting to respond to you Chewy - Yes I know and understand that, with regard to the year in question I have it on very good authority, from somebody I would trust with my life, that the Government were aware of the strain, but were not prepared to pay the extra for the required vaccine.........
  7. Ah the flu chestnut, I wondered when that would come up. The worst flu season in recent times resulted in 20,000 deaths, the average number of deaths in the UK is circa 7000 per year. There is usually an effective vaccine for flu*, I know this as I have been receiving the flu jab for a number of years and have never had flu (*There is a suggestion that had the UK Government paid the extra required for the flu vaccine that year, the number of deaths would have been much lower and of course a bad year like that pushes the average up, the flu season before there were just over 1000 deaths and the flu season after just over 3000 deaths) There are also effective treatments for flu, I have seen them in action. All the scientific evidence I have read points to Covid being much, much more contagious than flu. At least 42,000 people in the UK have been killed by Covid....so far. Seeing the placards and protests in Norwich yesterday has made me realise how totally brainwashed those type of people are and it is clear there is no reasoning with them, so this is my last post on the subject..........
  8. Thank you for your advice, I have been doing exactly that, plenty of water, fruit, veg and exercise. Unfortunately my achilles heel is my lungs, even though my peak flow is probably as good if not better than a lot of people who do not have asthma, they are susceptible to infection (my asthma is quite brittle). Given that we both accept and understand that Covid exists, is extremely contagious and extremely dangerous to round about 20% of the people that contract it, you must be able to see that based on our population size, not having any sort of restrictions could potentially lead to the NHS being swamped, consequently resulting in many preventable deaths. I do not have a lot of time for UK politics or politicians, I am particularly anti Tory, but even I do not believe they would destroy the economy just to have total control over us. The only other option would be to lock the vulnerable 20% away until herd immunity has been reached and/or a safe reliable vaccine is in place just so the 80% can go about their lives totally unrestricted, but given that despite the fact the risk groups are known that would mean some healthy, young people with no underlying health problems would also have to be sacrificed as part of that approach. Just touching on the Sweden example, whilst there has not been a lockdown and masks are not a common sight, it would appear that Swedes have basically followed the rules on social distancing and socialising much better than we have in the UK and have complied with the restrictions the Swedish Government have put in place. I will also throw in the possibility that Swedes might just have a higher T-Cell immunity to Covid https://www.bmj.com/content/370/bmj.m3563.full?fbclid=IwAR0Guuel9ulYLiwtrVpl5Soajb9wEYDcKL14ytedhu2JLWIW6VQB8S0sQuw On the subject of flu, I would not want to underplay its seriousness, my wife had flu a couple of years back and she was in bed for a week, I did not catch it off her as I am guessing the flu jab I had protected me. Flu is serious, Covid is a whole lot worse to those that are vulnerable to it and course there is no jab to protect us........yet...............
  9. Well I am ****ed then, I cannot take ibuprofen as I am asthmatic. Glad you got over the Covid and I genuinely hope you have no residual problems further down the line. Given that I am male, 58 and with underlying health problems I reckon their is a good chance that Covid would make me seriously ill if not kill me..........
  10. This is an interesting one and as you say well hidden on the .Gov website. At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist I wonder if this is linked to this item which somehow has not made the national press https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000mh6d?fbclid=IwAR046vZ9YHOvo5raKqD8UsKXwWpMGw0N595YdYwO55qHI-Idg4y9eeMFemc Can I ask you a genuine question?, Do you think that the virus exists and if so do you understand that it is way more contagious than flu?. Are you just against masks and lockdowns (I actually find it interesting you use a MSM term, we have never been in a true lockdown, we have seen severe restrictions which have been gradually eased and now are being slightly increased), or are you also against social distancing etc?. I try to get my information from scientific and fact checking sources (rather than the Government or the media.....I have not got Sky) and from what I understand the accepted science is that around 20% of people that contract the virus end up requiring hospital treatment, so back to my earlier post that equates to something like 9.5M people requiring hospital treatment in the UK, I am not sure our health system could cope with that volume. Now you could be right and it could all be ****, but as somebody who had to shield (now that really is closer to a real lockdown), as did my parents, do I listen to somebody like yourself who has yet to provide any real evidence that the virus is not out their circulating and is not that contagious or dangerous (despite the fact that more than double and possibly even three times as many people have already died from it than the worst flu season in recent times) or do I keep my family and myself safe until there is concrete evidence that it is all a ruse by Governments to control us?...........
  11. Given that the UK population is circa 68M and given that herd immunity is achieved when around 70% of the population have been exposed and assuming your 1% is accurate (it may be higher or it may be lower, but certainly it is much higher than the rate for flu of 0.1%) you are basically saying that we have to accept that circa 470K will die in the UK so that we can all go about our business as if nothing has changed?. Sweden is an interesting one, although their cases be 1M population is higher than that of the UK and the death rate per 1M population is only about 5.5% lower than the UK. Sweden is much less densely populated than the UK so i suppose you could post to the comparatively low rates in Norfolk versus those in the larger metropolitan areas of the UK. To balance up the argument it may be worth looking at somewhere like New Zealand who went in hard and fast and their rates are a fraction of those in Sweden. Is it just masks you are against?, or is it everything from hand washing, social distancing etc?. My personal view is the ideal situation would be as many people get coronavirus as possible without being ill and without passing it on to the vulnerable and without the NHS being swamped with cases (with the knock on effect that would have on all the things they dealt with pre coronavirus), keeping the death rate as low as possible and buying us enough time for treatments and/or a vaccine to be developed - Scratches head on the best way to achieve that................
  12. I think that is where the approach/message falls down. Not sure what the issue would be with you, your missus and your immediate family meeting outside whilst socially distancing.
  13. Is your friend from Amsterdam a smoker?.........
  14. I think rabbit should be substituted with arsenal (minus the nal).........
  15. An interesting read, apologies if this has already been posted on this thread or elsewhere on the Pink Un........https://www.bmj.com/content/370/bmj.m3563.full?fbclid=IwAR0Guuel9ulYLiwtrVpl5Soajb9wEYDcKL14ytedhu2JLWIW6VQB8S0sQuw
  16. Colo/Wofie - It would be a pleasure to ride with you again, also happy to donate again. I will share your page on Facebook..........
  17. You have to enjoy it Phoenix, I know some fans will always want to fret, moan and whinge etc, that is their right but it changes nothing. All the very best for this season..............
  18. With regard to Number 3, which incarnation of Waveney would you like to sit with?.......
