Just read on bbc sport website that he has handed in a transfer request siting colchester,s ambitions dont match his own , i would love to see him in a city shirt again .I saw him play three times last season and he was outstanding every time plus he was leading scorer in the championship with 24 goals and he is only 31 years young .OTBC

Almost glad Ipswich won?
andy laz replied to GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yes, I never thought I say that, but whereas of course their last minute win over Derby keeps them above us in the table, the fact is that that can still be put right, a win for that ugly, dirty set of cheats Derby today would almost have guaranteed them promotion. Still bitter about that night of corruption at Carrow Road a few weeks ago, it was interesting to see that both Bywater and Billy Davies were sent off today, this follows on from Darren Moore being suspended for violent conduct from a previous match. All we need now is for referee Lee Probert to fall down a manhole and the four main culprits from that scandalous night will all have had their come-uppance.
Just spoke to a mate who is a town season ticket holder for his sins well someone has to speak to him, tells me derby scored early and just then started to waste as much time as possible also passing the ball along there backline to the cheers of there travelling rabble .Then at the end he sits scum were awarded a corner , from the corner bywater and bruce where pushing each other, the ref sends them both off bruce was walking back to the changing rooms when bywater then ran up behind him and started punching bruce from behind .Stewards and others had to pull them apart then billy davies runs on to the pich and has a go at the ref who sends him off derby players and backroom staff have to restrain him and force him to go to the stands. He says its the best he has seen them play this season and is confident for once prior to nexts weeks game ,we will see .I also hope derby dont make it they are a bunch of cheats especially bywater at the end of the game the derby fans were berating there own players sqeekie bum time i think OTBC -
Worthy and Jarrett @ Leicester
andy laz replied to Michael Starr's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Just heard worthy plus jarrett interviews on bbc radio leicester its worth a listen .Very amusing to say the least ,when jarrett was asked if he was @ norwich when nigel was there and what he is like to work with, there was a pause while he thought what he should say then came out with the standard b*ll he knows what he wants good manager ect ect .OTBC -
Just been on your fans website and your fellow fans arnt a happy bunch ,what didnt suprise me was the abuse mr jarrett was recieving you dont need me to tell you what a poor footballer this man is .I hope you stay up as ive not been able to visit your new stadium yet due having to work saturday mornings ,ive just seen your run in and its against other teams either vieing for promotion or against relegation so its not going to be easy anyway best of luck OTBC

Colchester Ratings
andy laz replied to FilletTheFishWife .'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Colchester fully deserved there win on the day our boys didnt turn up ,it was embarrasing to watch as my son is a col utd fan and was in the home terracing i got some stick on the way home .He said andy hughes was col utds best player i cant argue with him on that totally .We looked short in midfield fotheringham looked a liability on yesterdays performance and huckerby missed drury on the left flank as lappin was reluctant to support him in attacks .Having said that i saw colchester play coventry 2 weeks ago drawing o-o and they were ordinary which makes yesterdays no show even more concerning its time for change hughes is a poor defender and an even worse midfielder so he should be dropped and let one of the youngsters have a chance.I cant be bothered to go on anymore as it would take me all day and any way they were the better team on the day OTBC -
Anyone else like to see Charlton survive?
andy laz replied to Evil Monkey's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yes our old freind colin has been quite smug over the last few weeks, i think its time that smile was wiped of his face.I notice they have to travel to the valley on april 21st that would be a nice time for Charlton to leap frog them in the league , i am now imagining colin,s excuses to as and why the referee had not given them this that and the other decision bring it on OTBC -
Peter Thorne: I'd have liked to stay at cardiff
andy laz replied to hogesar's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
i wish he had stayed at cardiff as well ,then we would be about £8000 a week better off .You cant have forseen his constent injuries before he signed ,just shows we would have been better off giving mathias svensson the extension to his contract he was after rather than going down this route OTBC -
Do Birmingham fans really deserve a team which is on the brink of a return to the premiership ? well i dont believe so .The total number of fans who turned up last night to cheer there team on was i guess about 700 -800 , i know it was a tuesday night but it is at worst a 3 hour journey for them.If the boot had been on the other foot im sure we would of taken at least 3000 away to birmingham .This season there attendances have averaged 21500 where ours for a indifferent season has been 24500 only derby and sunderland have a greater averages .Was steve bruces comments ive got to pay tribute to the norwich supporters who i thought were a credit to the club . They wre right behind their side all night and made it a difficult place to come to .They were superb ,and i take my hat off to them. Was that a dig at his own supporters who i heard ring in to talk sport after canary call had finished slating steve bruce for his choice of captain defenders ect ect .As far as im concerned i would like them to do a wolves and mess up because they dont deserve a team who are were they are in the league OTBC

He was spot on told it as it was ,he may come out with the odd strange theory but i think he is starting to make us a better side .There first goal was criminal the second everyone was atracted to the near post leaving jones with an empty goal to aim at .Hopefully learn from there mistakes and performances like last night will be victories not sucker punch losses.OTBC

That liverpool game would have been one of my first games at carrow road, thats how football should be played no diving no cheating &no back chat to the ref and terraceing OTBC

We have only scored 3 goals less
andy laz replied to BlyBlyBabes's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
But they have only conceded 35 goals this season ,only problem for them or plus for us is that there best defender micheal johnson may be missing on tues with a knee injury .i saw there game on friday v colchester thelooked good going forward but looked very pedestrian at the back when johnson went off injured .It will be abig test on tues but we allways play well against the top teams OTBC -
Barnsley v Norwich match thread
andy laz replied to andy laz's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Just seen this quote from Peter Grant: "We keep putting ourselves in trouble. I want to kill games off at 1-0 but they keep looking for more goals." Those foolish players, trying to score more goals. Everyone knows that defending 1-0 leads is the way to play football.
Ive just read this very strange quote, as we dont do 1-0 wins surely the best form of defence is attack .I would hope he has been miss quoted in interpretation from scottish .Was a great result though, another win on tues and i think we can relax and enjoy the rest of the seasonOTBC -
just seen teams for today fotheringham in for etuhu and chadwick on bench also warner replaces the clown OTBC

Scum *Ipswich* Vs QPR - Best result?
andy laz replied to hogesar's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Dream scinario would be when we play them at carra rd on april 22 is to be able to sing to them your bottom of the league at carra rd , with luke chadwick scoring the winning goal via his injured knee in front of the barclay in the 90 th minuet. Turning towards the the travelling support he gives them a special wave and pointing to his knee now that would be good OTBC -
My views on todays game (Especially D. Ethuhu)
andy laz replied to WilliamG's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Firstly can you explain why you being a big fan of his you cant even spell his name correctly , you spell it E T U H U .No wonder fans get on his back one instance yesterday deep into the second half drury gets caught by coventry player in a tackle and goes down injured the ball ends up at etuhu he then passes it to drury who is still down injured , luckily drury manages to hook the ball away or coventry player is in on goal .Its his casual attitude to the norwich city cause that p*sses people off we are for christs sake in the middle of a relegation battle no body wants there team to fail .He upped his game at chelsea last week why not every week , only etuhu can answer that .OTBC -
Ashamed of you Barclay boys (and others)
andy laz replied to The Great Drinkell's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Im more ashamed of the performances of our so called players i wont name them ,if they showed as much passion and aggresion as the fans where towards judas marshall we would be at the top of the division not 3 points of relegation . Dont be so sensitive we are in the middle of a relegation battle not at the school play .OTBC -
The BBC and the FA Cup (not another TV thread)
andy laz replied to Evil Monkey's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Tv money is killing our game, in any other industry it would be reffered to compotion comission how can Sky pay on average £30,000per team for ninety minuets football from the championship then later in the day pay nearly £500,000 for a premier league game .I think its time for the FA and the players union for the sake of every team player and fan alike to sort this short sighted and unfare system now before its too late .On another note surely the bbc first show arsenal v blackburn lunch time then man ure v reading at tea time affected the attendances at every championship league 1 & 2 further reducing revenue to these clubs further , even if say just 100 casual fans decided not attend one of these games @ an average say £18 per ticket thats nearly £ 2000 they have lost in revenue . that is a lot of money to some clubs but a drop in the ocean for premiership elite OTBC -
Was it a lash up or what, we left carrow rd at 0945 stopped at birch hanger services for half an hour left there at 12.00 proceeded into london on M11 then through docklands along the embankment and then joined heavey traffic into the chelsea area, our coach driver drove past the turn off for coach parking .He then had to turn around in the road to the amazement of the locals ,it was about 1435 so we decided it would be best to leave the coach and find our own way to the ground as we had come to see our team play football not see all the sights of London has to offer bit miffed we didnt get to see Buckingam palace though. We finally got into the ground at 1450 just time to use the little boys room and find our seat , on the return he decided to go on the south side of the river the over tower bridge and then return through docklands and then on to the M11 .Surely it would have made sense to have around the M25 and eithercome in on the M4 or M40 then A40 into chelsea via hammersmith like we did a few years ago when we went to Fulham which is just up the road from Chelsea .We spoke to a police supperintendant after the game and he said there was no set route for coaches to visit chelsea .Add to that you would expect a coach taking football supporters to a game you either tune your radio into BBC five live or Talksport to find out what was happening prior to the game and find out how every body else had got on .WE had to put up with a tape of Daniel Odonell or someone like him singing the classics like by the rivers of babylon ect he finally got the message and changed tapes for some irish comedian ,no it wasnt worthington .We were just getting into that when someone complained it was too lound as they had a headache and the entertainment was then turned off .I wont name the the opperators of the coach company but im sure they are more used to taking pensioners on day trips to the capital on sight seeing tours than football fans to away matches .Apart from every thing we had a good dayout just apity we didnt get to have a few pints before the game or have goal to cheer OTBC

I agree with your comments entirely, what a great show from all the players dickson included where did that perfprmance come from?why cant he produce that more often .The one critisisim of the day is the Chelsea pitch it was awful, they spend all this money on the playing staff but stage they perform on is second rate like there support patchy with holes in it , they dont think its worthy to cheer until they have a comfortable lead .I wouldnt swap places with them , i would rather support a club in the real world not in a cash warped world . We now need to get a good result against Preston & Coventry and i think we can then start to relax and enjoy the remainder of the season OTBC

city worth a punt to beat chelsea?
andy laz replied to lucky green trainers's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City

Dickson Etuhu
andy laz replied to Citizen Journalist Foghorn's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Dickson is now our biggest liability in the team, its time for the manager to drop him to the bench and see how we play as a team without him at the moment he is not pulling his weight in the side. His ball control his passing and awareness have deserted him ,he is now number one candidate for fans scapegoat now robinson has left us .So i think its in everybodies interest for him to have a few games on the sidelines to freshen him self up OTBC
