1. culverhouse, fleck and dale gordon would do for me. I see your point about sutton but with what money we have to spend can we get better? pay-as-play would mean if he did get crocked he dont get paid
 2. Reading in the sunday rag this morn stevie mac looks like picking mr ashton for his first game in charge. this if im correct will give us a extra 250,000 big ones. THIS MONEY HAS TO GO IN THE KITTIE either for transfer fee''s or towards loan wages or my personal choice part of a pay-as-play deal for sutton. i''m sure bringing sutton back will not only give us a target man but give the team that added lift i think is needed. any thoughts.   the beer is for my hangover
 3.
Bobby has been taken to hospital following the Ipswich game this afternoon. Hope he is OK and gets back fit soon.
watching an ipswich game can do that to you. more serious note. by far the best england manager in my life time, hopes for a speedy recovery
 4.
Look at our midfilders today and who will score the goals from Safri, Hughes, Robinson and Ethu? Exactly!
funny. Hughes doesn''t even play and he still gets slated
 5.
So we''re happy with 1-0 defeats at Leeds now are we just because we played pretty football at times.  If we played well and still lost what the hell is going to happen when we play badly?
if we continue with this form we will finish bottom with no points and a minus 46 goal difference. we are all gonna die some time in our lives, lets just go and hang ourselves now.
 6.
But we WILL get rid of him this season.
what if we get promoted? still want him gone then?
 7.

like it or not worthy will be manager this season. first people complain about the lack of signings, then when it looks like someone will be coming to fill a position which we have been lacking for years negativeposts pop up stating that he will not join. Why not wait and see what comes of it and if he chooses not then start a thread about possible reasons for this. why would croft come for a medical if he wasn''t interested?
They state it because many people expect us to be gazumped by Birmingham, that is their view and they want to express it.  I for one feel if Birmingham are interested (which I would gather Lee Croft''s agent is probably sounding out now) I don''t fancy our chances as they will be able to offer big wages.  Lets hope they are looking elsewhere. why not state it like you did? Lee Croft will NOT sign is a bit different.
Some people''s hate of the manager is doing more damage to the club than worthy himself. If we are going to stand any chance this season the fans must be united behind the club and everyone within it. Why do you think teams have a better home record than away? the pitch is the same its whats around it that counts. the way things are we may as well play all of them away. if this hate campagne continues, yes worthy will be gone so will the parachute payments leaving the new manager with little or nothing to spend, cant see what talent we have sticking around either.
Unfortunalty the damage was done last season - with strange decisions from the manager up to and including the last match.  And then the manager decided to have a go at his detractors... On the back of a poor home defeat.  Many will never forgive him. I totally agree, i want worthy gone. what happend last season was a total joke and i think he''s long overstayed his welcome BUT the board have made there choice and that will stand.   In many fans opinion, Worthy being in charge will ruin next season, and the parachute paments will be gone leaving Worthy or a new manager with little or nothing to spend, cant see what talent we have sticking around either.
Yeah things didn''t go as planned in the prem and we all know about last season but i think we are stuck with him so why not one last shot. come xmas im sure the board will make the right choice if needed. i also feel we all forget slightly quickly, just go back seven years.
 8.
there are no more negative posts here than at any club where a large proportion of fans want rid of the manager....
like it or not worthy will be manager this season. first people complain about the lack of signings, then when it looks like someone will be coming to fill a position which we have been lacking for years negativeposts pop up stating that he will not join. 9.

If you were 21 and faced with the prospect of moving to another part of the country away from your family and friends for the first time, possibly for 3 years if not longer then you too would probably want a little time to think it over
Couldn''t agree more, lets just hope he doesn''t take a look on here and read all the negative idiot posts.
Negative Idiot posts? So the vast majority of us are idiots now are we?
us? who is us?

 11.

Why would anyone want to join an broke, under performing, non football playing side.
you missed the fact that narrow minded fans cheer when the other team scores. cos thats gonna help a team.
Thats funny because it actually did seem to help? We came back against QPR and the results/performances improved slightly after the protests. Again another KTF who blames the fans for the performances on the pitch. If the manager has nothing to do with whats going on (on the pitch) then why do we even have one?
I want worthy out aswell. there are just better ways of doing things than what is happening at our club. One thing is for sure he will be our manager next season, like it or not. do you realy thing the lack of transfer activity is all worthys fault? if you were a player would you want in at the moment? If things dont change the only outcome will be, yes worthy will get sacked but any talent we have will have to go leaving us down and out. the only way out of this league is with the fans united from the start, if that doesn''t work im sure the board will make the right choice this time.
 12.

Cause and effect
The cause  Poor play in the first half of last season, caused to an extent by lots of injuries in a small squad, which led to a side being chopped and changed and losing confidence.  Our results improved in the second half of the season, but this fact seems to have been ignored by people with an agenda. Effect Protests outside the ground, barracking of players in the ground, booing of key players, applauding of opposition goals, people feeling that they belong more to a protest movement than the club. If you cut your knee, do you sit there picking at it ?  Or do you find a plaster ? If we start the season divided as fans, there is no chance that we will get anywhere.
This post is spot on. if we dont get a good start its gonna be much of the same, booing fans, worthy will get the sack, the outers will be happy again but by this point any talent we had will want to leave so they dont become the next target if thing go wrong again. what would happen if worthy went and the form dipped further?
 13.
Why would anyone want to join an broke, under performing, non football playing side.
you missed the fact that narrow minded fans cheer when the other team scores. cos thats gonna help a team.
 14.
Or maybe: 5. We didn''t offer him a long enough contract. He signed a three year deal with Derby. Maybe we only offered one or two. *If* we achieve our aim of returning to the Prem within a season or two, would a 33-year-old Howard be any use to us? Maybe with at least two big earners already at the club, Huckerby and Earnshaw, we didn''t want to commit to paying the wages Derby offered for the period they were offering.
or 6. he didn''t fancy the presure of not getting off to a good start and getting booooed and slated left right and centre.
 15. still remember my first kit, the old fosters sponsor. must try and find it one day though the fit would be interesting. my favorite has to be the asics with green stripes, the white away didnt look bad either
 16.
Southampton & WBA will get automatic promotion places.  We will finish top 6 along with Birmingham, Leeds, Wolves, Cardiff & one other (obviously) We will play Birmingham in final - result unsure about. Off to William Hill now to see what odds i would get for this lot. Dont waste your money on wolves being anywhere near. i live in telford (15 miles from wolvo) and there best team got turned over by non-league telford. they released 10 first teamers at start of season. no more parachute payments, just makes this season that more important. that could be us next season. makes you wonder who would go if we dont go up
17. try looking in the back with the sport. i have it in front of me and its in there. page 78 bottom right
 18.
Bull Hooks, What a load of crap! The Managers who have won the championship in the last 5 years are Worthy, Mick McCarthey, Steve Coppell, Harry Redknapp and Kevin Keegan. So that answers your question then, Kevin Keegan will be the new Wolves Manager cause no poor club would want our worthless manager!
sorry not very clear, wolves have had permision to talk to this manager by a club ruling out Keegan and Mcarthy. also just heard its in the news of the world. fingers crossed we might get rid of the useless one.
 19. I live in the midlands about 15 miles from wolverhampton and last night recived a call from some mates who are wolves boys. the rumour around the club is the favourite for the managers job has prem experience and won the championship in the last five years, they seem to think its gonna be worthless. just wondering if anymore has been said around the club???????????
 20. I used to post on this board every now and again and then moved about a year ago, just got the net setup. looking through the posts over the last halfhour, what has happend to this place. when did difference in opinion change to im gonna slap you about. Yeah this season has been crap but is there any need for this sort of stuff on this board? before Xmas i wanted rid of worthy as much as anybody and a part of me still feels a change could be the best thing for this club. But, we beat wolves and we are in the spot below play offs, that from a team the has been quite simply pants for most of the season. have we all forgotten where we were and the football we were playing when worthy took over? a few more players and we could walk this league again. also if we beat the wolves i win three twenty pound bets from my yamyam mates.
