1.
my teacher used to go out with robert green when she was like 17
"like 17" Does that mean she looked 17? By the way is it tomorrow yet?
 2. Did you know that tomorrow, today will be yesterday?
 3. I will be buying by March 1st, health and keeping my job permitting. It won''t depend on who we sign, what colour Delia''s knickers are or whether I or anyone else on this board thinks we are being lied to or spun a line. I''m renewing because I support Norwich City and I love them whatever (well maybe not if we appointed Graham Souness as manager).
 4. Bertrand. Looks class. Maybe not as fast as Hucks but can actually make a half decent attempt  at a tackle or heading the ball. distributes the ball better than the others.
 5. You''ve missed 1st Wizard - Star of ''Hex and the City''. [:D][:D]
 6.
is this some kind of gag? i think it sort of passed me by... p.s. did keith briggs ever play a full game for us?
Perhaps he means Max Briggs?
 7.
Is this mystery character in any way similar to the one portrayed in the opening to Graham Greene''s Brighton Rock? Yes, I read books.  Flame away...
That''s two of us then, but I haven''t read Brighton Rock. Currently reading ''The drowned world'' by JG Ballard. [I] Perhaps we could have a literary thread, it might be better than all the bickering and name-calling that''s going on on this board at the moment.
 8.
I''m sure this has been raised before.  I was looking on the website...http://ffsp.railwayinn.me.uk/ (The Famous Supporters Website) and saw the famous entourage who support us, there''s some strange one..... HRH Prince Andrew Carol Barnes - TV news presenter Martin Bell - TV news reporter turned politician Charlie Catchpole - TV critic in the Daily Express Cathy Dennis - singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor - singer (The Audience, Spiller/Groovejet, solo) Sir David Frost - TV presenter Stephen Fry - comedian, author, actor Myleene Klass - member of Hear''Say Delia Smith - TV cook, author Hannah Spearitt - member of S Club 7 Sarah Thomas - supermodel Simon Thomas - former Blue Peter presenter, now on Sky Sports News Susan Tully - actress (EastEnders, Grange Hill, etc.) The Darkness - group What was funny, were the Binners supporters, certainly scraping the barrel with some of these....!!!! - A Soccer AM production team members, and a bloke from the discovery channel!! Mark Aldridge - former member of the Soccer AM production team Brian Cant - former kids TV presenter (Play Away) Keith Deller - former World Darts Champion Griff Rhys Jones - comedian James King - movie critic on Radio 1 Kevin "The Artist" Painter - darts player John Peel - Radio 1 DJ (also supports Liverpool) Charlie Simpson - member of Busted David Starie - boxer Bill Treacher - ex- Eastender Bill Woebernick - snooker player Ian Wright - travel TV presenter (Discovery)
Damn, I used to think that Griff Rhys-Jones was a really nice bloke.
 9.

agreed.. Defensivley we havent been any worse off without Taylor.. do we really need him at the moment? Surely a striker is the main priority, we can worry about Taylor in the summer or get a long term Loan   jas :)
The huge difference is, unlike Doherty & Shackell, Taylor can play the ball out of defense and create something going forward whilst remaining competent at the back. And who would you prefer going up for set-pieces out of the afforementioned? Taylor of course - since his departure there''s been more than a couple of match winning chances squandered by Doherty where Taylor would''ve surely found the net. We''re also missing Chadwick - I seriously reckon we''d have bagged at least an additional 7 points with both those players on the field.
Wow. Now it''s Doc''s fault we can''t score. It beggars belief why some people have to moan about him all the while.  I expect if we win 6-0 next week it will be his fault we didn''t score 7. There''s a bloke who sits near me. Barely opens his mouth most of the game. Doc plays well without making a mistake for around 60mins (unlike others). Doc gives the ball away with a bad long ball and up jumps the Doc-hater with a mouthful of abuse. Presumably it''s what he goes to football for. Agree we were missing Chadwick, although on Croft''s present form I''m not sure where we''d fit him in now.
 10.
Lets see how many Brown scores between now and the end of the season shall we? I bet that you will be able to count the number of goals he gets on on one hand (posssibly even if you are missing a finger or two).
How about if you chop one finger off for every goal he scores. It might stop you posting on this board.
 11. BarclayMan, Still having trouble quoting from this thread. I don''t want to start a war of words but, "Obviously i mean teams above us and on the fringes of the playoffs and indeed teams in the playoffs." If it was obviously what you mean then why didn''t you say that, it would save a lot of confusion. Dont get me wrong, if your familiar with my posts im definitely a glass half full chap, and am always positive about NCFC, i always maintained all season, even when we were bottom under Grant that we had the potential to make the top 6. When Fozzy returns watch us go i said, and look what happened, especially after Roeder took over. Im just really impatient that weve bought no one when teams around us are splashing the cash, look at Colchester for gods sake. Theyve spent more than us. You might well have always been a glass half full sort of chap, but your original post in this thread was so negative, which is why I reponded like I did. I think my glass is nearly always close to full. OTBC.
 12.

more to this than meets the eye, trust me.
Pure genius. Your talents are wasted here. Can you please explain why I should trust you?
Thanks for your praise and no I won''t explain to you, maybe if you drop the sarcasm I might, but then again you probably wouldn''t take it on board would you.
Well you could always try and see if I do take it on board.
 13.
Not terribly sure myself as why we want him.  Roeder has worked with him before, which may explain the link.  He is also a different type of striker to Earnshaw, so its probably not an either or (at least for footballing reasons).
Different? Presumably you mean he can play football rather than toss it off around the penalty area all afternoon.
 14.
more to this than meets the eye, trust me.
Pure genius. Your talents are wasted here. Can you please explain why I should trust you?
 15.
Eastwood has been looked at several times and dismissed due to a certain issue he has..... and dont ask cos the mods will probably just knock it off. Dont believe me? Wanna bet  :o)
Perhaps he really has an issue - He should see a doctor
 16. BarclayMan. Tried to quote your message but keep getting a ''non-matching quote blocks'' message. Worried? No. It''s 18th January and the window closes on the 31st January. The deadline is 13 days away. I suppose you''re one of the people who panic buys every time the news hints that there may be a shortage of bread, sugar, petrol or whatever. Just relax. I don''t understand what you mean by ''all the teams around us are strengthening for the play-off push''. Presumably you think that Sheff. Wed, Leicester, QPR, Coventry, Blackpool and Barnsley are gearing up for a play-off push. Can you also explain ''Pattison and Evans aside''? If you''re talking permanent signings then we haven''t signed Evans. If you are talking loans as well, then why haven''t you included Camara and Bertrand? Like you I think we are not far off being amongst the top sides in the division, but I hope we will be investing in players sensibly rather than ''rolling the dice''. The tone of your letter seems to suggest that you would rather see anybody here just to say we''ve signed someone. Personally I''d rather we bought no one if we can''t find the people we want.
 17. I really can''t believe that anybody bothered answering this
 18.
taylor = known quantity, proven player, past pedigree, top gun. vlad = unknown quantity,  proven domestic pedigree,  foreign gamble, has an all or nothing ''vidic'' or ''dave striker ''potential. in short, he could be a good''un - top 6  type player, or he could bomb and leave us  with egg over our chops, and facing a relegation battle.  roedy has made some good buys so far, for me - this has ''risk'' written all over it.
This just about sums up the pink ''un message board. He''s either going to be brilliant or rubbish. The board''s either brillaint or rubbish, the fans are either brilliant or rubbish. Has it ever occurred to anyone that the vast majority of people fall somewhere in between? He could for instance turn out to be a good quality defender, making a few mistakes, having a few brilliant games and do a very worthwhile job for us for a few years. a bit like Malky, or Big Dunc, or Flem.
 19.
Incidentally, he''s the one on the left.
The one in the middle looks better.
 20. Remembering this says favourite, not best. 1) Kenny Foggo - Legend 2) Gary Docherty - Gives 100% EVERY game 3) Mike Sutton - played cricket against him loads of times - lovely bloke.
 21.

Jamie cureton isnt crap... he isnt getting the service.... if i put u in a football team told u to score a goal then never gave u the ball woudl that make u a crap player?   jas :)
Sorry Jas, can''t agree. He has more than enough service, he just misses chance after chance. He''s probably cost us two wins at home over the Christmas period, and while he wasn''t alone in missing chances yesterday he missed them yet again. I was as happy as Larry when he signed, but I take what we could get for him now.
Who cost us a win against Wolves over Xmas? I seem to remember watching in horror as Shacks & Doc ball watched as Andy Keogh leapt unchallenged to head in a simple chance from about 5 yards out. JC earned us a point rather than losing us any! The same was true against Bury on Saturday. Another far post headed goal conceded without even challenging for the ball!!
Mr David Marshall stand up and be counted.. a back post ball in the 6 yard box is the keepers EVERY time... that flapper lost sight of it vs Wolves and also against bury. how much longer are we sticking with him over Gilks? jas :)
Jas. What I can''t understand about all this is why you (amongst others on here) don''t seem to be able to accept any criticism about Jamie Cureton. If you want to respond to criticism about him, then surely the way to do it is to put forward something that will put his case not bring up other people''s faults. I''ve said previously I would love for him to do well, but at the moment he''s just not performing. Incidentally only three defensive cock-ups leading to one goal a game (and I don''t recall the opposition missing any gilt-edged chances). Several glaring misses by our forwards (not all Jamie). I think if I had to blame any area of the team specifically I''d know where it lay. It would seem from today''s statements from Glenn Roeder that''s where his thinking lies too.
 22.
lol... after yesterday u can tell he''s signed permanently.. he was shocking! jas :)
Agreed. Hopefully he will get better again.
 23. 24.

who?
i take it u have only been supporting us since we got in the premiership? Colin Woodthorpe played for us in the San Siro... wasnt a bad player but never a first team regular... he must be ancient now! jas :)
well someone knows how to work the google machine. im sorry but im not a human encyclopedia of everything norwich city.
Talk about stating the obvious. Are you an encyclopaedia of anything? [:D]
