  1. It depends what kind of an atmosphere they are trying to get into the stadium... 80s stadiums were full of atmosphere but I'm not sure I'd want that to return...
  2. Football section has been different degrees of very slow for well over a week now, both on android via chrome and pc using. Firefox ...
  3. I suspect that there would be personal vetting by the season ticket holder in those circumstances as they would lose their seat should the person they passed it on to cause trouble...
  4. This is getting dangerously close to bill think of there are no such things as formations anymore ...
  5. Wow, and yet the blacks had a white playing for them and the whites had two browns on their team...
  6. International loans are essentially the same as an international transfer, the players registration has to be transferred to the relevant fa and so on, so the paper work is just as (if not more) complex than a permanent signing...
  7. Is it though? They're paying him 30k pw and this season he's only played 100 minutes in the league scoring once, last year he played nearly 1300 minutes and scored 4 with no assists. He basically had one and a half good seasons at Cardiff and that's it... I would be disappointed if we were paying that much for him.
  8. I think idahs problem has been he's a bit too good. He was good enough to be trusted as a backup so we have been reluctant to let him out on loan as signing an alternative backup is expensive and difficult, but needed some consistent game time to fully develop, which he would only get if we loaned him out. If he was a bit worse he would have been loaned out years ago...
  9. A far from first 11 that still includes a front three values at over €150m and a keeper and defender valued at over €50m (32 for Allison, 22 for Gomez), but yeah, apart from the fact that you could buy our ENTIRE club for less than those 5 players it was a far from first 11, unlike ours which was totally our best 11...
  10. And let's not forget that Nunez cost Liverpool £64m-£85m (depending on add ons), which is at least £10m more than the value of our ENTIRE squad on Transfermarkt...
  11. Turns out it's McKinney Texas and between Binns dr and Millwall Dr is Gallows Dr... There is also another Redbridge lane in Texas, in a place called League City, which would seem a more appropriate place for this...
  12. That's why I put the quotes around it.... From their website "A player's wage is "verified" if provided directly by the club or agent, and/or confirmed by +2 sources." But they count media as sources, so in theory if two papers said the same thing that then becomes verified...
  13. The latest figures from capology, with the gree tick being "verified".... Does not make me believe them any better...
  14. Either that or they've just taken the salaries from FM and assumed they're accurate
  15. Whilst I do agree, the man city comparison is a little misleading as their breaches were all under older sets of the rules... Chelsea on the other hand...
  16. Whereas I have little sympathy for them, if they knew hay they couldn't take a lower offer without breaching ffp then they shouldn't have signed the players that took them over the limit until the sale was complete. Also, the £20m for Andy does probably include add one, yet so will the £45m they're claiming for selling Johnson...
  17. That Johnson deal is also an "up to" so will probably be far lower...
  18. How do you remove crusts naturally? Leave the loaf out for mice to nibble them away?
  19. They seem to have done everything they can to crop the ball out of it and remove any context... It's almost like whoever edited it had an agenda....
  20. Whilst I do agree that there seems to be a spreading malaise both on the pitch and in the stands, we are still only 5 points off the playoffs, whilst getting promoted would probably end up being another disaster, at least getting in them would give a positive vibe to take into next season...
  21. Here's a radical idea, perhaps he wants to actually fix things? We keep getting told how rotten the club is on the inside, that doesn't come from the manager. We are in a transition of owner, not really in danger of going down this season and if we went up totally unsuited to compete. Perhaps he is keeping his powder dry to identify what else needs changing and address more than just the manager when we actually have the new owner in a better position to provide a foundation to build on for a sustainable promotion.... Or I'm just an idealistic optimist, either works...
  22. Fine finish, though a little hint of handball to set him up...
