Time to give Nelson another go?
Haggerdoo replied to Haggerdoo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
We’ve scored 10 league goals in the last 10 games - i know we have played some decent stuff but too many chances going begging - we will need to score more if we want a top 6 finish -
Ha ha ha ha - you must have hated the last 8 games - good 3 points for you at Swansea today btw
-
Pukki looking a bit knackered last couple of games - time to shake it up a bit and play Rhodes from the start and perhaps give Nelson another try - many more chances being created this season - i know there are many haters but reckon it’s worth a shot
-
Would be great if we could extend the winning run but would be happy with a point from this game - I''m going for 1-1
-
Could prove a trickier fixture than some are anticipating - think there will be a few goals too - I''m going for 2-2
What hatchet, Woodman? Stuart Webber has said himself that contrary to popular belief, Nelson is a model pro and no trouble at all. So not sure what hatchet needs burying.
Totally agree Alex - too many Oliviera haters on here - he''s better than Rhodes (ineffective so far) and yes I reckon he might feature against Wycombe - yes he can be stroppy but too much talent just to leave him to rot
-
A poor loser just like Lewis Hamilton - all smiles when they win but throw the toys out and quick to blame others when it doesn''t go their way
-
I don''t care how talented he is after his doses of disrespect last season for me he should never put a City shirt on again.
Farke has to accept some responsibility but whatever you think about NO he''s way better than Srebny will ever be

Why don't we always play like that?
Haggerdoo replied to Making Plans's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Because we don''t always play Cardiff reserves -
Nice to see our players havent given up as quick as some of our bloody fans on here!
Numbskulls!

Don’t think it’ll be the walkover some are expecting I’m going for 2-2 can’t see us keeping a clean sheet at the moment

Players regressing under Farke?
Haggerdoo replied to king canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I don’t think the players like him - they are scared to make mistakes hence all the passing sideways Heard from some people who knew Remi Matthews that he said Farke was an absolute c**t - maybe it was sour grapes but wouldn’t be surprised -
He''s had more than 50 league games and it just isn''t getting any better - continually shipping goals for fun. Fell out with Oliviera and thinks Srebny is a championship striker - time to go Daniel the numbskulls have had enough!
-
He loves that low shot into the corner across the keeper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjv17n_roz8
If Oliveira is moving on we have until the end of the month if it is overseas.Similarly, with incoming and outgoing loansWould prefer to see what money we have available held over until January, if only that I have a goo feeling that we will be up there....needing a bit of a boost to push us on, and we won''t know until then what positions need covering. However we are always beholden to the silly money bid so we shall have to see - though it is pleasing to see Farke/Webber getting the squad as good as sorted so early on.
What with no adequate cover for Lewis at left back you mean

Was really poor in pre season - simply not good enough - poor that Farke can''t see that Too many midfielders not enough solid defensive cover Husband will get ripped apart by Matt Phillips from West Brom if he plays next week
-
Depends if we play Husband and Srebny if so we''ll be lucky to get 3
-
With Rhodes and Pukki picking up injuries last night perhaps Farke may have to swallow his pride and give Nelson another go - god forbid we end up relying on Srebny
-
As long as that settled back five doesn''t include Husband - too much of a liability - should get rid
-
Sort of striker we could do with tbh

No hidden agenda behind Nelson Oliveira’s absence
Haggerdoo replied to Haggerdoo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The bloke has been on stand by for Portugal in the World Cup, he is perfectly entitled to a holiday. That said, he’s not good enough to play for us despite being the best striker we have at the club by a million miles, I think what we should all do is gang together and slate the bloke relentlessly like a lot of us did last season, you know, really make him feel loved, it’s the way to go if we want to bring out the best in him 😳
Totally agree - I''m worried if we''re going to be relying on Srebny as back up -

Haggerdoo replied to Haggerdoo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
So if we can’t get rid of Nelson and Farke is unable to manage him, that’s another very expensive asset not being utilised. Surely we can’t have him playing in the U23s as well?
Yes he is difficult to manage and performed poorly last year but Farke has written him off - there''s a quality striker in there still who should be given a pre-season chance like the rest (btw he''s way better than Srebny will ever be). Losing faith in Farke over this blinkered approach
