Thats everyone''s posts answered except mine, here''s a reminder 1) Mr Iain Walpole was very involved and then he wasn’t, he seemed to opt out after someone rumbled he was using 3 user names on here ( Mr Positive, Be Smart and Wes is a canary) - http://www.pinkun.com/cs_pinkun/cs/forums/1396148/ShowPost.aspx 2) You had a committee but you now say they are too busy to run the project, so who’s running the Kitty at the moment? 3) You said your website was developing nicely but it hasn’t been updated in 6 months and the fans forum has never been used. 4) You now say you don’t have time to keep us fans and the Kitty updated and are looking for volunteers to join the committee but why didn’t you ask for help early last year 2009 when it was obvious something was amiss. 5) Surely if fans money is involved you should take 10 mins every month to give us a regular update, it’s not acceptable that we’ve heard nothing for 9 months from you. 6) You say the £3000 is in a bank account which is fine but when will that be passed to the club to use? 7) You said in May 2009 that you were organizing a meeting with us fans to explain how the project would work, we are still patiently waiting.
Rather than spending your incredibly precious sounding time trading insults, why not spend it answering these perfectly legitimate questions?''It''s all good, trust me'' means absolutely nothing I''m afraid.

Funny old business football. The odd thing about The Tinpot Club v The Very Famous Club Wot Once Beat Bayern Munich yonks ago is that we actually LIKE our owner unlike the majority of posters on here some of whom, whether the Very Famous Club is promoted, will be enshrined in a forthcoming Guardian G2 piece including the messages which Archant were not quick enough to delete but which we screen grabbed before they woke up (Wiz you know what you did on Gunn''s living daughter is but one example). Working title is "Let''s be havin you? Actually they don''t want her at any price." If you go up that will have even more impact. Good luck for the rest of the season.[:D]
I like how you keep name dropping G2. I''ve seen it a few times on here. But you''re actually going to run with a ''nasty comments are found on an interenet message board'' story? The shocking news that some unhinged people post unpleasant things and that responsible companies go out of their way to remove them? This hasn''t been done before? This isn''t the most obvious thing that the democratisation of the internet has achieved - a speakers corner for the deranged and overzealous? I''m surprised, though I shouldn''t be - news is all about cycles, after all. I do like your rhetoric though - find me one post on here that says we''re a big club because of a win 15 years ago and I might give you a little credit.
It would be a lot deeper than that. You are obviously not a fan of the more obscure G2''s - for example you could look at the rhetoric of a football message board and speculate on how much that minority - and most football message boards are only a tiny fraction of support, in my view - believe they influence things. I do feel that message boards, not particularly aimed at this one, do feel that they are "the voice" but I''m not sure there is much evidence that they are. I would hope it might lead to an interesting read for people, for example, who don''t post on message boards. In some ways it has become a sub-culture but not as massive as many posters believe. All sorts of ways this end and completely undecided at this stage.
Frankly, I would have thought that there is the basis for a far more interesting article based on how far the Chairman or owner of a football club can influence on-field performance by his non football actions. If we were to take Colchester''s chairman as an example and consider his behaviour prior to a match that he had billed as critical and ''must win'', and relate it to the team''s abject performance on the day, the article would conclude that whatever strategy he applied had been completely counter- productive. The article could be developed with in-depth interviews with both team''s managers and players giving their views as to how Mr Cowling''s behaviour affected them and conclude with a statistical analysis of his team''s results and club attendances both before and after the period that he became involved in his high profile dispute with another club. The overall conclusion, which could only be drawn in a few months time, might well be that a football chairman can adversely affect his club''s whole season by placing management and staff under unwanted and unnecessary pressure.Feel free Cam, I''ll gift you the intellectual property rights....
I claim them, but will sell for the best offer. -
Hoolahan was close to signing for Hull

Sports Interactive in ''not privy to confidential details about player employment contracts'' shocker.Someone get Cam on it...would make a fine obscure G2 piece. -

Your top 3, favourite City managers?
Mr_Chimp replied to First Wizard's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
1. Walker2. Worthington (How Worthy hasn''t got more nominations is beyond me, he took us for a team who could have been easily relegated to a play-off final team in one season, then champions two seasons later)3. Lambert
Thinking further, you''re right. O''Neill wasn''t here long enough to be considered as a great Norwich manager - his achievements came after he left.1) Walker2) Worthy3) Lambert -

3) Worthington/Lambert. Can''t seperate them right now.
Really? I''ll help you, then. One took us to a playoff final and then won the 2nd division championship, only getting relegated on the last day of the Premiership season. The other one has taken us to the top of the 3rd division.
Of course, but right now the feel-good factor, and 47 points from 51, and the potential Lambert has, means he has to be mentioned. If we follow your criteria we may as well disqualify O''Neill completely. -

Why are Leeds still BBC's top Leage One story?
Mr_Chimp replied to K Lo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Norwich 2.17 points per game LEEDS 2.22 per game and taking FA cup headlines too with the way we''ve performed. You may be top but also points per game average also do not lie and Leeds are the best team in the division because they have won more points average. Oh and we are a bigger club!!
You''re an outstanding addition to the Pink Un forum. -
Tonight''s blurb:''Leicester City continue their sensational season by welcoming leaders Newcastle, whilst West Brom try to narrow the gap when they welcome Sheffield United. In League One leaders Leeds welcome the surprise package of the season Colchester United, who will be looking to close in on an automatic play-off spot. Manish Bhasin is joined by Steve Claridge as they review all the action.''
-
So because we''re doing well, we should rescind their punishment?Really?
-
Wes was having one of those games today where he''s got 2 men on him at all times, restricting his movement and stopping his game effectively. Don''t think he can be singled out as being any better or worse than anyone else to be fair.

McSheffrey signed for Leeds
Mr_Chimp replied to EYEBALL119's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Question to all Norwich fans. Is McSheffrey league one standard or better than league one?? Please dont get out of the question. Answer either BETTER or LEAGUE ONE.
He''s a good signing. I would say Championship level, only no-one in the Championship seems interested in him.So going by that logic, he''s League One level. Oh well, why not celebrate this coup with your fellow Leeds fans? -

You may as well go even further...''playground squabble not representative of city council debate'' or ''lunatic in pub not ex-CIA/NASA/S.P.E.C.T.R.E employee... -
Best of luck to him, but wages would have surely been out of our price range right now.
Thanks Mr Chimp, guess its archant towers being a day behind as usual, though thought it would have been on offy site by now
It''s a bit weird, it says he has signed on a ''X-year contract''.Possibility that it was sent in error, hence the lack of official communication from other sources. Maybe if Mr Holroyd is signing from Cambridge it was meant to be delayed until later. Guess we will find out.

Was an SMS sent by the Club at 7am. Guess their webteam are still enjoying their cornflakes.

Apparently travelling down for a medical today, according to Stockport messageboards. No idea whether it''s reliable or not, but thought I would share the info.

Deeney - Walsall - Who the hell is this ****?
Mr_Chimp replied to south east canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
http://www.expressandstar.com/2010/01/26/deeneys-warning-for-norwich-defence/Sorry, have I missed something? He said: “Their back four will be worried about us which is even better, because we should be more chances. I’m not quick but I’m alright and Daz is very fast, so if we play our high tempo pressing game and play on the front foot we’ll do a bit of damage. “As a team Norwich have some good attacking players but that’s about it. If we keep them quiet we’ll do alright. We’ll see how the two styles compare but I think we’ll win, I really do.” -

I''m not sure how much it counts considering the result, but I thought we were outstanding at Leeds. First time I genuinely believed we could go up automatically.
