1. ''They have no right to affect mine or anybody elses health and I have the right to protect mine.''''But if they do, I will kick the crap out of them''.I sympathise, but thanks for the early morning chuckle.
2.
I wouldn''t mind paying more for my season ticket next season because the club is now making it worthwhile. We have a quality manager and a very competitive squad. You feel safe that the extra money you might have to pay will be invested wisely into the club.
That''s the key point, I think.  The Club *has* to charge extra for financial stability, but it''s been forced to do so at the almost perfect time; people are still getting value for money despite the ''high'' (read: no more or less than most clubs in the division) ticket prices.
3. So far, so good from Mr. Barnett.  I do have concerns that he''s a Matty Pattison in the making - and as soon as we give a permanent contract he will revert to the type of performance other fans have come to recognise. For the moment, he''s been excellent, though.
4.
Er......what''s changed? Do we all of a sudden have an effective Plan B, for that''s the gist of my argument? Are you people seriously suggesting Lambo should stick with the diamond all season long? Don''t you want promotion? The players played much better today than they did against Doncaster - simple as that - nothing to do with the sodding formation.
Top, top cop-out.  Come on now, stop playing silly buggers.
5. I''d help pay for it myself to bring him here.  A wonderful player.  Only hesitation would be the impact his repeated injuries may have had on his game.
6. Oh Chops...I honestly thought was a typically spot-on satirical thread, until I spotted the dates.I am disappoint.
7. It''ll probably end up being a series of lectures or book signings in the Top of the Terrace.
8. No, Leeds were deducted further points for exiting administration without having agreed a CVA.
9. I would happily vote for any political party that promised to ban goal music.  Hateful, hateful stuff.I agree with Chops though, the half-time laps by the Forces and Supporters Group are great, and something I find quite moving.
10. Good good.  There''s enough cheering, shouting and singing going on to create an atmosphere without the ''help'' of a tuneless horn blaring.
11. As Barry said, he only played as a holding mid last year.He was alright.  His importance was overstated I think, because of the energy and attitude of the players around him gave him a lot of cover.
12.
Its going top be a right laugh watching them tear each other to bits this season, hell, get a grip it was friendly ffs. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_6272628,00.html WACCOE gone into its usual meltdown, plus their other message boards too. And I thought WE were fickle.
We?
13.
got a feeling in my water . we need a proven goal scorer at this level ,he fits the bill.
Gmph.  Really?  Recently?
14. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11702_5448148,00.htmlDoesn''t seem like they parted on especially friendly terms.
15. I don''t see any reason at all why we wouldn''t still be waiting on Forster.  Lambert has already said he sees Rudd and Steer as ones for the future in need of more experience on loan.  If his plans did work out we would still need 2 keepers anyway.  Ruddy wanted to be near his family in Cambridge so a move to Scotland wasn''t especially realistic, so we''ve moved quickly.Scenario a) We don''t get Forster, Rudd deputises for Ruddy (Lambert has a thing about surnames...or Surmans...), life goes onor b) We get FF, Ruddy deputises.  Rudd/Steer/Both go out on loan to Walsall or Swindon or whoever, life goes on.Either way I think it''s a decent bit of business.
16.
Buckethead: Why dont you worry about your club because you clearly have no idea how ours works! what you say is pure fiction and made up just to make you THINK that we are in trouble! He''s one of the most intelligent businessmen going, so why would he allow the club to keep on spending? e.g offering 4M for chopra. If finances were so tight and if evens was so concerned on spending more why would he allow the club to keep on spending. Also we wernt the club who had reports in national newspapers saying we were going into administartion, saying you had to sell your stadium!
Fabricated reports, that resulted in significant damages being paid to the Club. Just FYI.
17.
Lovely day for it.Doc''s the best man.
You missed out the comma, man.
18. Just another face in the crowd.  We''re utterly helpless to retain them at that age, he will have recieved a few offers and he happened to go with Arsenal. That said, he could well make it big and be another young star Wenger developed... ;)
19. I am 100% sure this is exactly what happened.  Thanks.
20.
God forbid a player having a sense of humour and enjoying a night of celebration.
It just isn''t on.  Who do they think they are?
21.
Oh dear, 6-1 to Whitley Bay [:''(]
Not so, according to Look East - they tuned out at half time and reported the final score as 2-1.
22.
He did wave once the attack had subsided - totally proffesional. He looked like the praise at the end affected him - he knows he''s got a future in the game and I hope its with us.
Totally agree with this - he looked choked up when we started singing ''There''s only one...'' to him.
23.

Yeah he was brilliant today. He has come on leaps and bounds this season. I was worried for a moment when he scythed down one of their players so late that the whistle had gone for a foul to us a few seconds before... but the ref saw sense and saw it for what it was and only gave him yellow. His distribution is 100 times better now and he cuts out nearly everything. I hope he can make the step up because he''s a likable player. And he''s proved a lot of us very wrong!
He was immense today, as he has been for the past few weeks. However, I''m still wondering if he has the ability to step up a division - I hope so, because he seems a ''genuine'' guy.
I''m betting he can.  Teams at every level would pay through the nose for a last-ditch specialist.  He''ll more than likely never score for us again after this season, but his desire to stop at all costs is invaluable, whatever level you play at.  I''m almost certain he slipped over only to wiggle his body in such a manner to put his /head/ between the ball and the goal during today''s game.  Round of applause for The Admiral!
24. I think the level of shizer Portmouth are in is neatly summed up by the simple fact they owe Spurs £1m for Begovich - a player who never played for them and who went to Stoke for £3m.Rumours/pub talk abound that the debt is being artificially inflated by the Administrator.  Why he would do such a thing with the HMRC breathing down his neck is beyond comprehension for such a tiny, insignificant mind as mine....Indeed.
