1. My wife wants the rabbit to get the carrot. She says "Arh... its not fair"
 2. Does it really matter? Norwich were not going to get any of the games any way but to be honest I think making our bid in English only was for the birds. I spent 10 years selling waterheaters for Heatrae thru Europe and Africa and although I am only fluent in French and German I could at least say please and thank you in seventeen languages.
 3. Well I got lambasted by Morty for saying they should be supplied by the shop by the pub at Blickling Hall. They sell pies to be proud of. I am told that on his appointment the Chief Executive wrote to all Carrow Suppliers asking for a reduction of 5% on their prices and none refused but of course they are going to recoup their 5% by other means such as reducing quality. You get what you pay for and as I said last time has anyone ever seen delia eating a match day pie?
 4. I can give them my name, seat and row if they ask. If someone picked it up they may just have forgotten they have it or not got round to handing it in. Yes I have asked at the ticket office and also at "Yellows". You get 10% discount on a meal at "Yellows" with a season ticket. Discussing the loss with my neighbour she is horrified at the cost of a replacement card. The NHI charge £50 for a replacement hearing aide too. The Government are knocking £50 off the Chrismas fuel allowance. £50 is becoming the norm!
 5. Has anyone found it please? The front office want £50 for a replacement. It is for the Upper Barclay. Sorry to trouble you all.
 6. Sorry about the spelling. Just been to Yellows for lunch. Great meal, bottle of Pinot Gregio and great service from the staff. Must be one of the best restaurants in Norwich.
 7. Done well for us and going to do better. Time to find a bob or two and give him and his mates a rise. last thing we want is him leaving for a better paid job. Never heard of a manager getting a testimonial but why not?
 8.
was brill having the norwich players arrive at our stopover. i certainly got some good pics. where was paul lambert? xx
You can fly Bristol to Glasgow on a saturday for £40 on Easy Jet. perhaps he went home!

I''ve despised Liverpool for 30 years of watching football for one reason or another and to see them in this position is fantastic. For the first time in my lifetime I can ,with certainty, finally be able to say that Liverpool are genuinely a sh!te team!!! brilliant.
I remember Liverpool being in the second division of the Football League and its the fans you have to feel sorry for. Its sad really as there is not a lot going for Merseyside except their humour and the football clubs. The days of cotton and slaves that brought prosperity are long gone. They should never have knocked down the terraced houses and built the vast Council House Estates.
They had to build vast council estates to accommodate the huge increase in population caused by fathers & sons shagging their daughters & sisters respectively.
Says the Norwich City fan! They actually built large council estates after Liverpool was extensively bombed by the Luftwaffe, being a pivotal port and manufacturing industry and Britain''s then second largest city. Fast forward forty years and the Tories achieved what the Luftwaffe couldn''t by ripping the heart out of the manufacturing industry, causing widespread unemployment and the associated rises in crime and social disadvantage that being raped by Thatcher''s rabid free market economic "philosophy" brought to many northern towns.
no sympathy here .. as far as i''m concerned the luftwaffe should have tried harder [:D]
I realise thats supposed to be funny, but to be honest its quite sick
I was one of the kids stuffed under an upturned sofa every night as the bombs rained down on Liverpool. Eventually a land mine dropped on the house over the road and killed seven people. There was one room left in our house.
 10. Neither Munby or Doncaster "fell on their respective swords" as they were both sacked by Wyn Jones. Strangely in the end it was Delia who was the "hard" woman. It was a long and expensive learning curve for her but in the end she came good and I am thankful for that.

 12.
Went to yesterdays game and what a game it was!Shut them bloody fans up..small town in wales [;)] On way home i thought it was really good that the norwich team bus stopped at the services with all the norwich fans..spoke to most of them except chris martin who ignored everyone?Brill day out!OTBC!
I think that is a really nice little story. Players and fans all getting together. Sorry about Martin but perhaps he was not feeling too good.
 13.
yes we''ve let in 5 in the last two games but only the first last night i''d blame Ruddy for. If he was constantly making errors and we were losing games through them then yes i''d say change it But give the guy a break and give him time before making a decision on him. I remember when Gunny first arrived here and i wondered what the hell we had bought as he was charging around all over the place, and look what happened to him.
I do keep saying, on this Board, that we do not have "time" if we want to play with the big boys. Ruddy is an experienced goal-keeper and was given a 3 year contract on that basis. He should not need "time". Its time for our new directors to come up with the funds for the Club to buy big when the transfer window opens. Delia always had a price on a Directorship so hand out the invoices! Lets strengthen the defence and make it "Fortress Carrow" again.
 14. I dont understand why under 16 yrs is more expensive than under 12 yrs. Both are at school, neither can work, bothn dependent on Dad for a hand out!
 15.
woah....i thought betting £10 was more than enough......I know Horse owners bet huge amounts on their horses (as long as they think they have a chance i suppose) didn''t really know people would bet that much on football...especially Norwich :P
I remember a mate telling me he only bet on certainties. He bet me a quid he would beat me at Badminton. He won of course!

I like to have a look on here for about 1/2 an hour every day, but jeez do any of you lot actually have lives and real people to talk to. if your internet connections broke i reckon most of you would top yourself!! Well I appreciate that guys like Morty have few friends and get off their rocks by posting on this Board and I appreciate that some off us are busy trying to raise it to a level that it is impossible to achieve. That is why I feel it is time for Pete to go before the rest of us do. Maybe the Board needs to be split between those of us who have something to say and the rest of us who are like Morty.
No, you think that we think that. Wow, does that make you a better person because you spend less time on the internet?
No it doesn''t make me a better person. I just have REAL friends who I actually meet face to face So not better, just more popular :)  btw went fishing and got a bite!
Wow, you''re so amazing and popular, I''m surprised you even use the internet at all. Ah, the old "I was just kidding to get a bite" excuse when I have been outed as a bit of a hypocritical prick, criticising people for using a forum, by posting on a forum about it, then realising the irony. [:)]
errr no thats not the point I was trying to make mate. Just saying that thinking your opinion is more valid because your post count is higher is a bit idiotic really and I am amazing and popular, thanks for noticing :)
You know the only people who are ever bothered about post count have a smaller one. Kinda says something really.
It says to me that some people like to open their mouths when they have nothing to say or add value. It really is time the power moved Pete on as he seems no longer to understand that this Board needs to be refreshed. Personally I think those with 1,000 posts should be retired and as a result the remaining members would be a bit more careful about what they said.
Or perhaps people who have a low post count actually have nothing of interest to say? Another point proved here, I feel. [:)]
18.
Just read his interview, loves Norwich, loves Norfolk.........Have i missed something here, as soon as we were Relegated, He could''nt leave quick enough, and the club had given him a massive pay rise.... so i say Mr Ashton, cant you find a nice new house next to West Ham Football Club!!
Thats a bit hard. Norfolk is not the easiest place to earn a crust.
 19.
I think that while McNally would love promotion (as we all would) it is by no means essential. We were in league 1 last year people! Why isnt a top half finish good enough?
Because you are young enough to wait and a lot of us are old farts who need success now before we are put down in elm coffins. We also remember bread rationing, potato rationing, petrol rationing and queuing up for coke at the gas works for the fire. We remember being the top team in England and we want to be top again. Delia wants a return for her investment and we oldies want a return for 30, 40, 50 years of our support. That is why top half finish is not good enough ..... top two is the absolute minimum so get thinking that way CT.
 20.
I dont think we have a chance of the playoffs either.... just not experienced enough :D Why isnt 7/8th good enough?
It isn''t because we have been there before and because some of us, including perhaps the owners, are not going to see the promised land unless we crack on. Its like my father never saw the Berlin Wall come down! One of my best ever days was in Cardiff, when we lost to Birmingham, but think if we had won that day we would have had years of Premiership football like the Birmingham fans have had and quite possibly no debt worries either so, like the man says, lets stop giving the other teams a goal advantage and get into the top two and stay there!
 21. Not for me. Norwich have had much better goal keepers. Always seemed to be diving when the ball had gone passed him.  Too wooden for free kickes and penalties.
 22.

Please. Every time we lose a game, people come on here and talk about how poor his tactics were, or question whether he''s good enough for this level etc. It''s the absolute highest form of stupidity. I''ve already posted the below in another thread but it mainly applies for this. It''s time like this when I loathe and detest this message board. It''s ONE GAME. We lost to the better side on the night. Get over it and stop blaming Lambert every time we don''t win a match. It''s absolutely pathetic, because for the next win you''ll just be singing his praises again. I honestly thought we were more intelligent fans than this, at least most of us. Don''t make such idiotic comments after each game in the heat of the moment. Sorry folks, I just found it absolutely rubbish. The same thing happened after the Watford game. We need to remember where we were just over twelve months ago and what he''s done in that time. Show the man some respect, you wretched cretin.
Well, you get all sorts of stuff on a messageboard, but what I''ve seen has mostly been rational criticism of Lambert''s team selection and tactics, and particularly the midfield balance. Last season we mainly played three ballwinners in midfield and a ballplayer. This season, in our three wins and our draw, we''ve either played last season''s mix, or played two ballwinners, a ballplayer and someone (Surman) who is a bit of both but veering towards being a ballplayer. In other words, a solid midfield. In the two defeats Lambert starrted with a more attacking line-up. Against Watford it was one ballwinner and three ballplayers. Against Doncaster it was two ballwinners, a ballplayer and an out and out winger. In both games we conceded three goals. That doesn''t look like a coincidence. In the wake of the Watford defeat Lambert effectively admitted he''d got it wrong by swtitching back to a more balanced (ie defensive) midfield for the next game. We shall see, of course, but the likelihood is he won''t choose the same midfield to start the Preston game.
I like your analysis must better than the rant that started this post. Why would anyone want twenty games to make a judgement as by that time it is too late to sort things out for this season. If QPR can get things right so can we...so come on Lambert we, the supporters, do not need 3-1 defeats to find out how good, or bad, you are. We need to have zero tolerance.
 23. You know it does not seem very long ago since I used to change ends at half time because I used to like to be behind the oposition goal. It was standing at both ends and also in the Jarrold and so I used to walk through. I was wondering when is was. I remembered that Jimmy Neigbour used to play on the wing at the time ..... poor bugger died last year of a heart attack and he was only 58 yrs old......and on checking found it could have been as long ago as 1972. Forty years ago! It does not seem real! Any way lads I have found a flight for Monday and on that basis I will be able to claim I have travelled the most distance for the next home game (as if it mattered). On the ball City!
 24. In the days of communist Russia I went to a Moscow Dynamo v Moscow Spartak Game. The Stadium was all seater and at the end of each row sat an armed guard... his gun clearly visible. Round the top of the Stadium where marksmen and outside lined up were Water Cannons. Through out the game snatch squads pulled spectators, seemingly at random out of the crowd and took them heaven knows where. We are very lucky to be able to shout and sing at Carrow, and make obsene gestures at visiting fans like the moran who sits in front of me. We are also lucky in being able to be quite or use our Blackberry if we want to. Democracy and freedom are easily snatched away by the intolerent....even here in Australia you have to vote or you are fined..... the joy of this Notice Board is that most are tolerent and understanding of the others point of view. Long may it be so.
 25. Seems the last time Norwich played away to Doncaster it was a  1-1 draw with Jonathan Grounds scoring for Norwich. Grounds now plays for Hibs on loan from Middlesborough. Grounds had two loan spells at Norwich playing either left back or mid-field for a total of 13 games and scoring 3 goals presumably from mid-field. I don''t remember him at all. Has anyone got any stories about him and does his goal mean that it is likely Norwich will score from a mid-field player this Tuesday?
