1. Where does Moses play as he gave Russ a torrid time on the opening day when he played left wing. Is he like Pilks and can play either side?
2. Can''t really argue with that team. If Morison is over his injury I may start him instead of Jackson. I dear say Lambert will surprise us though!
3. "First Wizard"Its getting rather ugly up there with the protests tonight, fan against fan etc....just like Chase Out! It''s getting really nasty up there! "Jamie o''hara ‏ @mrjamieohara I''m as gutted as any fan 4 today but can''t be aving people wanting to fight me when I have my son in my arms, disgrace,I''m giving everything" I''m all for peaceful protest but offering a player out when he is carrying his child to his car is a new low. I really do hope they go down.
4. Pretty certain 3 of the 4 midfield were the same as last week which tore swansalona a new one at the liberty. Can''t argue with the back 4 as our first choice centre halves and left back are out injured who else was there we could play there? Naughton was supposedly touch and go after last week as well. Holt should have been in the squad though, although none of us were expecting moro to not turn up. Too many players simply didn''t perform.
5. That was as poor as I''ve seen us for a while, apart from Sunderland where we were truly dreadful. With our first choice back 4 out injured I''d have expected Holt to a least be in the squad as we would clearly need goals as we were never going to keep a clean sheet. Ah well just the small job of Man Utd next week.
6. Lol. How delusional. As said above that''s Lambert''s team talk written. Providing we take this seriously I fully expect us to sweep them aside pretty comfortably like we did with Burnley who are 5 points better than this lot.
7. An excellent 3 points and thoroughly deserved. Next target: Liverpool.
8. Although I am certainly not counting any chickens I have to agree with Ernie, we should be looking up. Points wise we are closer to European qualification than relegation which is a testament to this team and PL. (For the record I don''t see us qualifying for Europe via the league this year!) Going on past form we''ve always looked up the table chasing those above us and successfully hunted down, Charlton then Leeds in league 1, the playoff''s then Cardiff last year. Our sights should now be set on 8th and if we get there then 7th...
9.
If he could reproduce today''s performance week in, week out, then he would be a really top quality player and would not only be in the international set up, he would the cornerstone of Trappatoni''s team! No-one questions his ability, just his consistency!
Unfortunately if he did I don''t think we''d still have him.
10. Great result, we were as good today as we were bad Wednesday.
11. A decent half but am worried about being caught out on the break or via a set piece now we have a make shift defence. Ball retention will important in the second half.
12. We''ve looked better in the first 15 minutes here than in the entire match on Wednesday.
13. Personally I see direct football as quick 1 or 2 touch football that takes you from defence to a shot on goal in 3-4 passes. This we do play, none of this ''pretty'' nonsense swansea play where they play 50 sideways passes between centre backs then lose the ball when they get near the oppositions penalty area.
14. We get this thread every January under Lambert as for some strange reason he doesn''t seem to come out and say I have x million to spend on player a, b,c and z. Pleads poverty then a new payer appears which no one expected who then becomes an integral part of the team for the rest of the season. Regarding the youth question, I think its a fair answer, in the Prem I think only wenger, fergy, moyes and possibly McCarthy and pullis have had 5 years with their clubs. At best that''s 5 in 20. Not a good ratio if you are in that line of work.
15. I''m pretty certain the last 2 January Transfer Windows Lambert has come out an said its hard to get people in, prices rise too much, I''m not bringing in people for the sake of it.  We here nothing then boom a player arrives out of nowhere.  He''s playing the same game he''s always played.
16.
Great picture on the BBC sport homepage..
There''s a whole montage of him just screaming at people, completely sums him up.
17. Anyone at home. But if we''re drawn away for selfish reason I''d like it to be Boro as it''s just down the road!
18. Still no clean sheet, at least we''re never boring to watch!
19. Having lived in Darlo for 5 years until about a year ago I''ve watched this unfold fairly closely. I have a couple of mate''s who are Darlo fans who I feel a little sorry for but I have very little sympathy with the club and the way it''s been run. It really has been the stadium that''s done it, seriously why build a 20,000 seater when you barely fill 10% of it, its biggest crowd was an Elton John gig about 2-3 years back. When you have Middlesbrough 15 minutes down the A66 and Leeds, Sunderland and Newcastle all within an hour you are always going to struggle to pull in a crowd. Last year the town held a civic reception for the team as they won the FA Trophy, 7000 turned up, 3 times the average attendance. Maybe if these ''fans'' went to the games they wouldn''t be in this trouble. Just saying...
20. I actually cancelled it this year after about 7 years as I didn''t see the point in paying for audio I''ve already paid once for with my licence fee when I can watch it for free over the net. I also found it to be quite unreliable as the commentary would often cut out or be completely out and you''d have to listen to the opposition.
21. Interesting line up. Good to see 2 starting up front at home.
22. I''m actually thinking of getting rid of it when my sub is up in September now we''re in the Prem. Now I have Sky Sports I''ll be able to watch a lot of our games plus most will be streamed on the net if you know where to look. I''ve not looked in a while (several years!) but I think most Prem teams are not part of the stupid website deal the football league are in so often streamed their own free to listen commentary. But like I''ve said I''ve not looked for several years so this may no longer be the case.
23. Encouraging words indeed. I think we''ll be looking to bring in 5-6 players that will challenge the current squad for a starting place. Again I think Lambert will go for decent, young hungry players from the division below who see Norwich as a set up in their career rather signing some prem journey men looking to maintain their current contract. I believe some of our loans are now repayable on reaching the prem, Turners? So spme of our debt will certainly be reduced. Overall I''m quietly confident do avoiding the drop next season providing we keep the core of the team and Lambert remains manager. As others have said, Lambert, McNally and Blowkett now have a proven track record so I''m a lot more optimistic than I was for our last spell in the top flight.
