Quite simply Drury has to go inside in the box behind shackell as cover. So if Shackell misses the ball drury is simply there to stop the attacker scoring. But thats when hucks needs to be back defending tracking the winger or to simply give Drury a shout if the winger makes a run inside the box. Its quite simple really if each player does his job.

Green (6) Didn''t look very descisive when coming for crosses, sadly no miraculous saves today. Fleming (6) Struggled in the first half with McVeigh down the right , but had a neat and tidy second half Drury (7) Played well, one of Citys better defenders on the day. Shackell (7) Good performance considering what he was up against. Doherty (5) Not a game he will want to remember, he resorted back to his old ways of fouling constantly, couldnt handle Hulse. McVeigh (7) Took his goal well, looked more comfortable going forward in the second half. Huckerby (7) Got stuck in more and made plenty of those surging runs forward. Hughes (7) Took a while to get going ,made a few stray passes as usual but in the second half especially he showed desire to try and get forward and score a goal which he did succesfuly. His best game for Norwich. Robinson (5) Made a few passes and that was about it from him. How he makes our starting eleven is beyond me. Charlton (4) Total garbage. Easy to see midfield is not his position. Waisted set piece after set piece. McKenzie (8) The sort of man you want playing up there on his own. Full of energy and put himself about well. Adopted the role of a lone striker brilliantly.

Good SECOND HALF performance!

I was also there but unfortunatly we were rubbish in the first half. In my opinion todays first half was like the city we have seen of recent and the second half was ALMOST like the way we were playing in the first division 03/04. But all in all a good point! And we so nearly took all three.

Also when interviewed about Earnshaw he says "I think its maybe a little bit harder from a strikers point of view because you are measured on goals, people dont look at your work rate and what else you do for the team" Worthy is absoloutly CLUELESS!! We didnt pay 2.75m for his WORKRATE we want his bloody goals and skill!! Where is the quality Nige???

I''ll be going to Leeds Saturday and for some strange reason i think we might get a good beating. So i''ll kick off the predictions by going for a 3-0 leeds win! Such high hopes i have.    what does everyone else think???

This post has nothing to do with anything going on at the moment but ive decided to start it purely out of interest. The best 2 players i have ever seen play against Norwich are: Henrick Larsson (Testimonial game VS Celtic) Adriano (friendly VS Inter Milan)

Ive rated Ryan Jarvis for a long time now. He hasnt played alot for us over the past few seasons through injury and worthy snubbing him. The coaches in the england u19s set up rate him. IMO Thorne is pretty poor and seems to be "the invisible man" at times. I think now Jarvis and mckenzie should be challenging for the place upfront with Earnshaw and we should use thorne as the 4th or 5th choice striker. Thoughts?

Do you think that Dereham Town would take him off our hands? Probably Not
