  1. Just because one prat survives the sack and gets a team into a good promotion, doen''t mean another will. Worthington has made too many bad signings, his tactics are questionalbe and predictable and he lacks the motivation and man management skills needed at this level. Admititdly the players have not given 100% in every game, and although this cannot be all blamed on Worthy, he can certainly take some of the flack for it.
  2. Rob a bank Have a sponsored Worthington rubbish signings charity collection. Every time Nigel buys a player, each supporter donates £1, we''ll soon have a good 500k or so to spend. That''s my 2 penny''s worth, i''m out of ideas!
  3. A row in front of you! It''s been a month now, how has it taken you so long to work it out Matt!
  4. Well, I think we done well, but my ratings are as follows; Green-6, could have stopped the 2nd goal, get well soon! Drury-8, Done very well, again. Playing a league lower than what he''s capable of. Doherty and Fleming-9, once again, with very little help from midfield, both done very well. Doherty has been in my opinion our best player this year. Jarvis-6, A bit harsh giving him Etherhington to defend against on his debut, took time to settle in, one for the future. Etuhu-4, Showing his worth at the moment, is it just coinsidence that since he''s been out of the Preston team, they''ve gone on a 16 game unbeaten run? Jarrett-5, Average, passed well but refuses to get stuck in. Charlton-3, Beats Etuhu to win my Donkey of the Week award. Henderson-8, I''m not a Hendo fan, but fair does to the lad, he done well today. Thorne-5, Was he on the pitch? McVeigh-6, Quiet again, hopefuuly will get a new contract though due to his recent good form. Worthy-6, With limited number of players, he done well. We could easily have taken it to a replay. Riley-4, Gave us a dodgy pen (I''m not complaining!), which sums him up. Despite this, favoured the Premiership team. One last thought; Marlon Harewood. Is it just me, or he is a diver and an all-round dirty player. Don''t worry, after he got ''fouled'' by the Doc, I gave him a piece of my mind; which he very kindly told me to shut up about. Nice guy!
  5. This would be typical Worthington I''m afraid, we''ve seen him fall out with so many players before.
  6. Green 6- Had no chance with any of the goals. Drury 6- Avergae game, could be out for West Ham game Doherty and Fleming 10- Considering that neither had any protection from midfield, both done very well. Could well have been more without both giving a very good perfomance. Colin 4- Below average again, most Preston chances created down the Preston left hand side. Ethutu 3- Thankfully not quite signed for us yet. For the majority of the game believed that he was still a Preston player. Simple Simon Charlton 3- A very good assit for the 3rd goal. Made up for his surprisingly good recent form by having a shocker. Robinson 4- Yet another worthington stroke of genius, can''t get into the worst squad in the Premiership, so we sign him. Another poor game. Huckerby 5- The odd moment of hope came through Darren, but he refuses to get stuck in, thus the crowd do get on his back alot. McVeigh 4- Slipping back into his old way of no effort and poor passing. Will be forgiven due to his recent good form. Ashton 6- Won most challenges in the air, but a lack of support from this meant that won headers went to no-one. Today''s team performance maybe encourging him to move. Worthy 4- Can''t take all the blame today, due to a lack of team effort and commitment. Tactical decisions, as always, are questionable. Referee -7, failed to spot a number of fouls, gave a very soft penalty and overall, could be described a t**t with no knowledge of his job or the game of football. A complete s**t.
  7. Was it Kevin cooper who scored that cracker for Wolves? The most nerve-wrecking 10 minutes of my life! Personally, whether or not we  make the play-offs is down to the next 2-3 weeks. A few good results and we''re in with a chance, but if we go the other way again, mid-table awaits us.
  8. 1) Hucks is not going anywhere, I think he''s one of the few players that is actually commited to the club. 2) Why would either player want to go there, if Deano does want a move, he wouldn''t go to a team that will be playing Championship football after relegation next season (after they go up). 3) Delia''s not stupid! Give her some credit, if both our key players leave, we will be saying good-bye to Premiership football for a long time. She knows that.
  9. Couldn''t agree more Matt, Deano needs to stay put!
  10. Don''t get me wrong, I will enjoy this unsual performance. However, I am going to Leicester on New Year''s Eve, and I cannot help but feel that I won''t be seeing the same Norwich play then!
  11. Firstly, hello! Newcomer here. Right then, by far the best this term, much better! Nice to see returning to the way the good old city used to play back in the days of 5-0 thrasings at home to Walsall! But, I am afraid to see this is a harsh joke being played on us by the inconsistant players. Get ready to see us back in full swing of rubbish performances over the coming weeks. Unfortunatly, we have seen this all before. A good win, fans full of confidence, and then; a rubbish performace and another defeat. All we have succeded in today is ensuring Worthy''s job for another few weeks.
