It does seem that we have a number of young international players who even struggle to get a regular game in the Youth/Reserve teams. How Rossi can be picked when he does not play is very strange.Is the irish set up like the old days where if you have a qualification you play.?. Has anyone seen all our young international players in action--maybe they could give an opinion !  

At present if you were a young lad why would you sign a Pro contract for Norwich?  Consider the following. A poor reserve league with hardly any fixtures. Play with the youth team because it is too cold for the senior pros who have a chill A policy that even if you are getting stuffed at home against Plymouth and the hype has been about you all week, and you are sitting on the bench the Manager still does not put you on If you play international football at under 19/20 you still cannot make the squad ahead of  Muppets You get sent to Torquay as far away as possible to a club in turmoil, or you might get lucky and enjoy the delights of Rotheram You will be sent to Kings Lynn to further your career that you have worked for all your life under a Manager who your Gaffer sacked You will be paid £200 a week while the likes of Thorn and Mcveigh become even fatter cats If lucky you might be allowed a guest apperance on the bench in the Carling cup against raggy arse rovers  You may be allowed to train with a no body from a premier club who comes in on loan to take your place and start in the first team It appears that by shipping out all the youngsters Peter Grant is no longer under any pressure to play them.Very Very Clever!

Has anyone actually seen him play?. Maybe he scores goals because the youth team have a good midfield unlike the 1st team

A couple of the youngsters particularly Spillane had nightmare games at St James Park on Wednesday. Newcastles Andrew Carroll completely dominated Spillane and he was responsible for two of the goals so I do not think all the hype is correct. Chris Martin deserves a opportunity as do a couple of the others,but Spillane looks like his lack of games and a long pro contract have taken away his edge-sound a familar story . We need hungry players all the way through the club and I do not see many. I also wish Ryan Jarvis was not regarded as a youngster he is a man who has had opportunities and failed to impress off load him and lets start again and stop giving overated boys long contracts so they think they have arrived. 

Cave Brown and Fisk on loan to Kings Lynn, do we have are very own Nursery Club. Looks like Webb was not pushed but is still part of Norwich FC

We have an Academy system for the developement of young players and it has been high jacked by a load of foreign players.Sides like Arsenal and Chelsea could not care less about English talent-why should they, they play academy sides which consist nearly completely of foreign boys from around Europe. The FA not only allows this to happen they finance it, then we wonder why we cannot produce international players.The academy system is used as a host for the parasites of the wealthy and it is about time regulations were introduced to restrict not only the youngsters but the number of non british players in the premiership.I know what you are saying where would all the international players go and the Premier League would suffer-- Back to the old days of the minimum wage no yellow cards and a return to the working mans game. I am sick to death of no contact, diving and protests at every decision.I am fed up of posturing Managers who act like adolescent schoolkids.It has become unbearable. Am I the only one who feels like this.       

It is about playing regular competeive football to find out how good they are. They may not be good enough so lets find out. If Ryan Jarvis played half a dozen games for Kings Lynn and failed we know he is not good enough and we move on, same applys for the rest of the young boys  

With Keith Webb going to Kings Lynn some of the young players who are getting limited games can go on loan. This will particularly apply to some of the present Academy players and the first year pros. This will give them a competitive enviroment in mens football and Peter Grant can keep an eye on them. Well done to Keith Webb I wish him all the best I am sure he has gone to earn more money. 

I have a feeling that Doncasters comments about looking after the interests of the club really mean that as long as 25000 people continue to turn up and give him and his fellow management team a comfortable living and Delia has her train set to play with that is about as far as it goes. This lack of ambition may eventually kill the goose that lays their golden eggs.I appreciate a degree of caution but maybe it is about time that Doncaster went and the club was put into the hands of someone who spoke more like an entrpeneur rather than a middle aged fat cat.He seems to offer a very safe and boring future with lots of people achieving mediocrity. Football is about passion and excitement not about one mans personal lack of ambition which is infecting the Board.We have a castrated Chief Executive someone help him find them

I have to agree that the standard of fast food at Carrow Road is appalling considering who we have at the helm. The cost is also too high.Lets invite Delia to a meal of overpriced pies and cold chips washed down by a bottle of the most expensive soft drink in Norfolk-There are more people with Morrissons bags than not so they must be losing income through their greed -  

You pay your money and you are entitled to do as you please as a supporter within reason so the Manager was wrong and made a mistake in his comments-He probably knows this. The problem lies not with the passion of the crowd but the passion of the players. There is a lack of honesty with them and a lack of appreciation of how fortunate they are to pursue such a wonderful career.They are paid alot of money to deal with criticism and it appears they are not mentally strong enough to succeed. They are cheating themselves as well as the public. Change the pay structure based on performance instead of just turning up, no points no pay. I get paid on results do you?  

Having just looked on the Peterborough FC Website it looks like another player has got away. Adam who was not offered a Pro contract went away and developed at King Lynns,he now gets a 3year plus deal at London Road. Small lad who has taken time to mature. P.S He is a left sided player How many more and who will be next to leave before thay get their chance-We do not have a very good record for waiting for our youngsters. The policy seems sign them for a year dont play them, then get rid of them because they are no good - Have I got it wrong your comments please  

Looking at some of the recent posts regarding the next team/squad there seems little mention of Robert Eagle. I hope he is kept on the bench in preference to others i.e Thorne Jarvis . It is important that we do not forget about his developement and leave him in the reserves for the next two years. He has let no one down and the club needs to show some sensible man management. We can then find out if he is good enough and if required get him out on loan while his name is to the front of other clubs minds

I believe that if you are good enough you are big enough. comments that small boys get released is usually that they are not up to the required standard. Look at some of the better youth players at present and some of the ones breaking through such as Eagle Fisk and Bexfield small players but given the chance. I think things are changing and we give the opportunity for these players to mature. I have said before the big ones at a young age tend not to develop because they have things on the pitch there own way, whereas the small ones learn to scrap for everything and have to fight to suceed,something you see in later years.  

The time is right to let Ryan go .I think when young players get too much too soon there is no desire. We give a youngster a 3/4 year deal and he thinks he has nothing to prove and slips into mediocrity. They sit on the bench picking up silly amounts of money and cannot as Charlies dad says shine against average opposition. Nice Bloke but he has had enough chances-lets give the ones below a chance and see if they can crack it-it is not all about ability, they need to be mentally strong.  

A fair assesement of the game especially Louis Jean who had a bad evening and Spillane who was lethargic and mainly dis interested all evening. Fisk lively, Martin worked hard and Bexfield my MOTM, the most compused player on the pitch including a couple of thunderous tackles one which he ran 50 yards across pitch to save MLJ further embarrasment ( would love to see him at RB instead of MLJ).Eagle full of running but little movement from a static forward line. Very entertaining and I will be going back-value for money

Just read that the away game against Ipswich moved to training groung instead of evening game at Portman Road which would has always attracted a decent crowd and good atmosphere. We want to develope our yougsters in a real atmosphere and we end up playing on a training ground.Wonder is it a backlash because of the Easton College boys playing them last year or is it because there pitch is crap. We would be better served sending our yougsters on loan. suugest we play them on local park when the fixture is reversed

I watch every game Home and Away and all Reserve games and spend a fortune watching lazy overpaid players who because they do the odd trick and score a goal are the so called best players.I would be happy for clean sheets and the odd 1-0 win at the moment. We need to build the side on a defence before you allow our flair players the opportunity to showboat. All good sides earn the right to play, it may be boring but it is better than the division below. Give me 11 hardworking dedicated professionals who are hungry for success and you will always beat a team of lazy comforatble overpaid players. I have always said build for the future -forget about the next 2 years and promotion nuture and play our youth- we can stay in the championship with hard work-clear out the fat cats and get behind the Manager.   you can accept failure but never accept a lack of effort and pride

You could play Bexfield who is the reserve team right back and can also play wide right, defensively excellent and really works, makes Fleming look like a Donkey.Play any of the really attacking players and they let you down tracking back.    

Heard alot of talk about formation and poor defending, but the simple solution is if you play Huckeby and Croft it has to be in 4-4-2  and they need to help full backs out when we lose the ball which means they need to work.  2 up front need to work hard for 75 minutes and then can be replaced if necessary.   

The hardest thing may be to keep some of these boys. There seems to be alot of scouts from other clubs hanging about and the boys Charlies Dad mentions are as good as some of the Premiership Clubs have, especialy technically. If they think that they will not get a chance they may become unhappy. Sign them up now on a decent contract and in 3 years time you will have a pretty useful side -all homegrown. Remember Danny Crow!

Have to agree 100% with you about last night, we had some chances in the first half but poor finishing put us on the back foot.I thought the performance from the Bexfield at left back gives hope for the future and the thought of him and Cave Brown teamed up would be excellent,makes you wonder why they pulled in Boyle on loan our boy could not have done any worse.The two young lads in midfield also showed nice touches and Eagle got plently of ball but the two lads up front were poor and did not give Eagle many options. Considering the alternatives that I could have watched I quite enjoyed the game. Put a few of the first team squad the jarvis boys and spillaine plus Cave brown when fit into this squad and the goals will come
