I can''t believe that people within this thread are actually getting excited about Scottish Division One players. To put things in perspective; the mighty Gretna have now reached the Premier Division in a few short years, so that says alot about the quality of the Scottish League, don''t you think? The average Vauxhall Conference side could hold their own in the Scottish Division One.

We neither have the ability nor the work-rate to defend a lead. The midfield has performed below average, as has our defence, and we have three forward players in Earnshaw, Huckerby & Croft whom seldom if ever get back to help out.  Individuals with their outstanding attributes aside; every successful football team has to play as a unit and the cohesiveness necessary for the afforementioned to function are seriously lacking within the present set up.

There are similarities & there''s no mistaking that Grant is  ugly. I agree with Cluck - besides ballsing up the finances the present board have made some terrible decisions as regards to management at this club with the acquisition of Grant being the most recent blunder. People are harping on about giving him a fair crack of the whip, but from what I''ve witnessed so far he''s not shown the potential to be a good manager - I personally think he''ll wind up coaching the likes of St Mirren within the next five years. Belive me, I''ve a keen sense for these things.
