Even if they have the ball back straight away, it''s not gonna be as fast paced an attack, giving defenders time to get set and mark up.

A solid performance by the lads today, bit disappointed with the lack of goals for all the play we had in the midfield. Think it was more the fact that Barnsley were absolutely abysmal rather than we were so good. i just think that fotheringham had one good game the season before last against leeds, got injured and the team was havin a poor run of form and everyone thought that he could turn it around, me included. then he came back and performed poorly but he always gave his backin to grant and now roeder and bigged them up so i beleive that they''re just keepin him as captain because of what he says. However none of us are in that dressin room before the match starts and before it begins so maybe he does some form of leadership in there and also on the trainin pitch. just for the record i agree that he''s an awful captain on the pitch and as for those sayin he gives 100% every match is rubbish he''s a big girl in tackles afraid to put his foot in and couldn''t play a direct forward pass to save his life. But the question still remains, who on the pitch is a leader you would have in his place. the only one i would have is marshall but i hate the idea of a goalkeeper bein captain when they aren''t involved in everything like a captain is, or at least should be.

at the end of the day, as long as we do better than one team below us for the next three games we''ll be safe. Neither of them will be the same player again. eduardo physically and taylor mentally. I dont have to explain about eduardo we all know how bad his leg is but taylor will be so scared of going in for a tackle again simply for fear of doing the same thing again. no one in their right mind would commit a foul like that. you simply cant say that taylor either meant to do it or that he doesnt care. simply put, this is the end of both of their meaningful careers.
