It is so obvious that this squad needs a reset. A fresh voice with fresh training methods and tactics could well be all it needs to spark some life into this carcass. -
Dream on!

Smith is a dead man walking from this point now. Not seen a boss turn the rudder once it gets to this stage with the home support. Dull to watch, not winning enough games and all with a squad that is supposed to be the evolution of one that won two titles and sold a midfielder for £30M+. The Farke magic dust has been well and truly shaken off. We need a fresh face and ideas to kickstart us - as Neil did after it went south under Adams. But, will we have to wait an age like usual for the inevitable sacking?

Too big for us now ... and maybe always was.

Pretty sure it would be Robins ...

Zero ins and JH to Cardiff on loan is what I'm expecting to see ... sadly. -
Josh finishing like Teemu

Do you actually want promotion?

If we don't go up we'll deteriorate into a lower mid second tier club ... the Championship is only fun when we're too good for it. -
If we finish above Watford we'll be promoted.

“No need to panic” says Dean Smith

They were lucky in the sense that we didn't convert our many chances ... when we're up to full speed we'll win games like this. -

I recall a similar situation previously with Farke. Webber didn't panic because the performance / stats were good ... it was just a matter of time then and I expect that to be true this time. A win will do us the world of good and I think we'll be buzzing along very nicely soon (fingers crossed!). -

I'll have to agree to disagree ... with the injuries we suffered and players we recruited (and didn't!) in the windows it would've been a miracle to have survived last season. I think lambasting Smith for his tenure across both seasons is nuts to be honest. He's gone from inheriting a poisoned chalice in the Prem (where he needed to make us harder to humiliate) to bedding in some new vital players (in a division where virtually all opponents will put up a stubborn low block and defend for their lives). It's too easy to think that smacking the reset button will cure all evils. You have to give Dean time to mould and evolve THIS squad for THIS campaign. -

They would've been delighted with a draw - hence the way they set up and approached the game. Both were lucky to come away with three points! Additionally - I don't think any manager on earth could've got more out of the players we had than Smith did last season ... we were easy prey regardless of who sat in the dug out. -

There is no elite in the Championship. It's a physical and relentless scrap with ZERO respect for price tags and past glories. The number of times I've seen so called elite squads humbled in this division over the years is high and there's a reason for that. This is not a computer game. This is a battle, a slog a scrap - and we'll be fine once we get a little luck and things start clicking. We very very easily could be sitting on nine points right now but the cookie didn't crumble that way. -

We have played THREE league games ... some folk need to chill out - there are 43 games left!!! We're playing well but have struggled against teams happy to take a draw with a stubborn low block. Once we get a win and have Hayden available we should start motoring.
