1. Great choices there Shaun. I look forward to seeing your name on the hall of fame line. Good luck.
2. Choices, choices. International or domestic? Well after much deliberation, its the World Cup for me and something a little different with Azerbaijan v Finland - Away Win Don''t often do away wins, but can''t see Azerbaijan getting anything, and the fact its an away may just pump up the odds slightly. Good luck to all PUPs (and welcome to all the newbies), and of course all the best Shaun.
3. After what can only be called a shoddy start to the season, its the Scottish Premier League for me this week and Rangers v Hamilton - Home Win. Good luck GMF, and of course all fellow PUPs.
4. Off to the minefield that is non-league this week. Into the Blue Square Premier and Luton v Chester - Home Win. Sadly, can''t make it tonight due to a long standing family commitment, but hope you all have a good night. (I''ll get to one of these meets some day!!!) Good luck to all PUPs, and especially Meth.
5. In a bid to get my season up and running, I''m also going to be a bit dull with the opening weekend of the Premier League and Man Utd v Birmingham - Home Win Good luck all Pups, and especially CA.
6. And so we begin again. Has it really been 3 months!!! First week of the season, and I''ve found it really difficult to pick a nap, simply because there is no form guide to speak of. I was sorely tempted by City, but that would just have been a jinx, so I''m delving into the Blue Square Premier with Stevenage v Tamworth - Home Win Good luck to all, and especially to Muddy.
7. A very sad day for football. A true legend of the beautiful game and a top man. RIP Sir Bobby.
8. Been off the site for a couple of weeks, came back on and found this. Fantastic news, great job Nutty, and as always big thanks to Billy. Also hugely honoured to be amongst the "Fab 40" (great name by the way), although somewhat nervous after surveying the carnage of my failed attempt last season!!!! Game on!
9.
was it everton we beat 6-0 and efan ekuku scored 5?
5-1 at Goodison, Efan got 4. Think Sutton got the other one. I''ll get me coat!!!!!
10. I remember 4 games against Southampton over the years, 1986(?) City 4 Saints 3 1989 City 4 Saints 4 1993(?) City 4 Saints 5 2005 Saints 4 City 3
11. Cricket again, a famous one from a few years ago. England v West Indies, not sure of the commentator: "The bowlers Holding, the batsmans Willey"
12. SIR Hissing Sid on parade. Request permission to shout bucketloads of encouragement from the Snakepit for the lads on Saturday August 8th.
13.
Cant wait for the fixtures to come out myself, Newcastle, Middlesborough, W.B.A., etc etc and a super derby to look forward to against Peterborough.
I guess Po***an R**d might just sell out for Newcastles visit.
14. Play offs is the minimum for me. Obviously depends on backing, but the new CE''s words about consolidation not being an option has to be a positive.
15. It''ll really hit home for me next Wednesday when the fixtures come out!
16.

I totally agree. Gunn is not as good a manager as Hiddink.
Haha, Gunn out! Hiddink in!
Quick, get a Facebook page set up!!!!
17. Used to visit Southern Italy regularly in the 1990''s and a group of us went to watch Bari. Slightly nervous as we made our way onto the Curva Nord dressed in different English club football shirts, we were made really welcome by their fans. Last game I saw there was a 1-0 win over AC Milan in about 1999, I believe thay went down that year. However they have returned this year after winning Serie B. Forza Bari!!!
18. So its mid table mediocrity here. Hard not to be disappointed when I think of some of my losing picks. (Liverpool v Stoke, home win - denied, Arsenal v Hull, home win - denied, Darlington v Droylsden, home win - denied, Top of the league Wolfsburg to beat bottom of the league Cottbus in Germany - you guessed it!!!). I recently reviewed the carnage that was my week in charge back in October. 6 bankers, or so I thought. Not easy, this predicting lark!!!! All that said though, I''d love another go if the opportunity arises next season. However it has been an absolute pleasure to join in with this every week, a bright spot in what has been a dismal football season. So to Nutty, huge thanks for all the work you''ve done keeping it going. To Inch High - congratulations, (I''m just going to steal your picks next season). And of course hats off to Billy Dixon for making it all possible.
19. So the last week is upon us and I''m venturing back to Germany''s Bundesliga with Dortmund v Karlsruher SC - Home Win Dortmund are pushing for Europe (last 10 games W6 D3 L1), Karlsruher struggling against relegation (W1 D3 L6). Huge thanks to you Nutty for all your work, and hopefully we can be back next season doing this. Good luck to all PUPs, and especially Fellas - go get that hat-trick!!!
20.
''League'' One. It''s LEAGUE One!! L.E.A.G.U.E.One. Good post though - cheers.
Lets get real here, its the 3rd Division!!
21. Mr D, I''m pretty sure you look at this board from time to time, so this is for you. I actually felt insulted reading this drivel. Do the powers that be really believe the future is bright? Do they really believe the fans see things that way? How stupid do they think we are!!!! Stay up or go down, this season has to be a watershed moment. Surely the realisation that we are at our lowest ebb in 50 years will be enough for someone to say this is where it stops. Sadly I''m not sure it will.
22. Was seriously tempted by City and by Plymouth, but figured that would just jinx the whole thing so its the Prem for me and Liverpool v Newcastle - Home Win. Good luck Beaker (and all PUPs)
23. Another visit to Europe for me this week. Its the German Bundesliga and Wolfsburg v Energie Cottbus - Home Win Wolfsburg are top and have 10 wins in a row (including a 5-1 over Bayern Munich!!), Cottbus are second bottom and have lost 6 of their last 7. Good luck all PUPs, and Obiwan - use the force.
24. Nigel, maybe I worded it wrong. I wasn''t accusing her of not feeling it, and I agree with what you say about acknowledging the crowd. However, the waving and blowing of kisses, while clearly being her way of acknowledging us, seemed way over the top given what had just happened. As for fearofambition - way over the top mate, totally out of order.
