1. Just a name to throw out there, Derby trying to sign him on loan, personally I think he would be great competition / cover / rotation for Holt, big lad with big future from what I have seen of him. Mind u our last Kiwi striker wasn''t great!!!![;)]
2. If and thats a big IF this is true, surely GREAT news for us? http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/worldcup2010/3025572/Newcastle-want-Algeria-keeper-Rais-MBolhi.html
3. I''m goin for this one!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bg7dwT1_Xs&feature=related
4. I''d definately take a punt for taht money (if we have it!!!), move Curo on and loan out Cody. Lets all remember that Martin hasn''t signed a new deal yet and is out of contract at end of the season, if he did move we would get more than 150k and would need someone else. If not then he could either be sold again or would be a good option if one striker was off form.
5. Ok fellas just kidding but was flicking through Sky Sports site and saw this picture and thought it looked a bit like Holty????? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11672_5793744,00.html
6.
Drury''s main problem is his reluctance to put a tackle in.  So often you see him back off the player 10-15 yards which allows them to put a cross in when he could quite comfortable put a foot in and knock it away from the player.  Not sure if he fears another injury if he goes in to a lot of tackles or weather it''s just the way his play has developed but I vividly remeber him pushing people out wide and then stepping in time after time where as now he almost invites players to whip a ball in. Not all critisism though, his attacking play is great and when he does put a foot in the tackles are top quality, the injuries have definately effected his game, not quite the player he was 5 years ago but that understandable given the time he''s had.  Maybe he''s found his level again in League 1, still think that last season (when he played) he was rubbish, but this season its nice to see Drury back to his best. Surely he''s coming up to a testamonial now too?
I actually think he sliding tackles are some of the best around he rarely gets it wrong and surely its the mark of a good defender if you don''t dive in when you can''t get the ball?????
7. Dunno if it covered opening the stadium but obviously they underestimated how many would be there as they ran out of pies by half time!!!!
8. Am I the only person out there that is not bothered if Alnwick goes? I actually think he is pretty poor, one good stop against Sunderland and thats it, not very comanding of area and generally very average. I would like to see Rudd get a run out and surely Theo cant be that bad (Yes I was at Col U game) but he must have something about him? For me start Rudd Sat, give Theo another chance in JPT Tues and see how it goes? Or re-ignite interest in Doyle as he aint gonna get a game.
9. Thanks for the blasting eveyone. How anyone can think he doesn''t add anything is beyond me but hey never mind lets get a team full of players like Gill who really want to play for us but aren''t good enough!!!! Bring your boots with u all on Sat, if we start selling best players we may all get a game soon. As for comparing it to the Man U / Ronaldo situation then I would be quite happy for Wes to go if we sign Owen. Wot a joke!!!!
10. I know theres another thread on this but if Wes is to leave for Swansea then I''m seriously considering packing in going, for me he has been one of the very, very few bright spots for us this season, even at Colchester he always wanted the ball and looks to make things happen. Considering Lambert signed him and Livingston then you though it could really work with them 2 and if we r selling to fund Lambert, Culverhouse and that random bloke who no-ones quite sure will b doing its simply not good enough!!!
11.

Hucks is a legend. Frankly, though, theres a seperate forum for this sort of talk and this thread should be in there.
well if your replying to me saying hux is not a legend, then I only replied to this post, i did not start this post so it doesn''t matter if it should be on a seperate forum, anyway nobody looks on the hux forum anyway, its pointless he is not a LEGEND!!!, he was good but not good enough!
Numpty!!!!!
12.
Huddersfield have a lot more money to spend than many in League One this season.  Chairman has already promised to bank roll Clark.  They have already been in for several other players with opening bids in the region of £1m - not a common opening bid in this league.
Yeah but he''s free?
13. Wudda been just what we needed in this league but looks like old Clarky is quicker off the mark than Gunny!!!! http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11719_5362950,00.html
14. Lets face facts Nelson was only ever a cheap back up to Marshall coz we couldn''t get anyone else. Personally I would like to see Matty Gilks back he''s not in the Blackpool team and their keeper was player of the year so guess he might not be getting in, although they have changed gaffer. Never had a fair go at us and sure he would come back, know someone at the club who said that he was better than Marshall but felt they had to play him coz he cost us a bit!!!! Other alternative would be Ian Bennett as a free experienced keeper to compete with Rudd, just like the Green / Critchon situation.
15. There is a lot of negative posts about people we are being linked with and a lot of people suggesting players who are now blatantly out of our league. In my opinion some of the players linked are what we need and all we obviously can afford. Next season is gonna be a struggle but in this league to go with the kids we have got we need proven League 1 players even if they are not up to the Championship standard. We are now a League 1 club like it or not (I don''t!!!), we are now needing to rebuild for this league, if we can do that and somehow get up (???) then next year we will need another clearout and better players brought in but lets stick with real time and the need for players who will do a job this season and try and drag us up, they are the sorts Gunny''s been linked with (Holt, Llerra etc.) so lets get behind what we get. OTBC!!!!
16. I would still like to see Rudd as No.1 next year but if we need someone else how about this guy, highly rated and can''t cost that much? (Tho I know we have nothing!!!)   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Mannus
17. I wanted to look at who is a Free Transfer at the moment, any idea where I can find a list?
18. Just a rumour of heard so don''t shot the messenger and start all the abuse, BUT my sister in law went to school with his missus and they regularly keep in touch with each other and says that a move back to Norfolk may be on the cards? Doubt she means Kings Lynn, Gunny knows him well and he''s out of contract and could come back to compete with Rudd for the No.1 spot. I know know his past and I would rather have Rudd but surely he''s better than Nelson?
19. Far be it from me to suggest we sign a load of ex Ipswich players but surely Tommy Miller would be a great signing as a goalscoring midfielder to play along Sammy (if he stays)? Alan Lee and Billy Clarke would also get my vote, wot do u guys think?
20. I''d have him in a shot, gonna cost us no transfer fee and is young and talented. Had a friend who is a Ipswich fan who said he was gonna b the next big thing and raved about him. Experienced in lower leagues and will no doubt score goals at our wonderful new level.
21. Darren Carter linked in swap loan deal for Fozzy, sure he''s miles better than him. Always impressed me in the past and didn''t we nearly sign him once before?
22. Surely bearing in mind old Corty''s been putting a shift in over the last couple of games and with his knees its gotta be Mooney who comes in off the back of a hat-trick (although against Palace Reserves) and Blackpool old boy Gow? Obviously Hoolihan is another option behind front man if he''s not on the left with Cort and MacDonald on the bench?
23. Two players who would have been good signings: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_4873651,00.html
24. Strikers, we need some obviously and surely we should be looking at Chris Porter as a target man and Michael Misfud as a JC replacement? Both available for a decent sum (tho probably too much for us!!!) I think these 2 could form a nice little strikeforce at this level, tho Barnsley and Cardiff gonna pip us by the looks of it, GREAT!!!! Any thoughts?
