I''ve heard that he has had a bust up with Hughton, i''m not sure if thats correct or not but its what I''ve heard, also Pilks and Snodgrass unhappy, who knows whats going on, hope it is just back injury and he''s back soon, Player of the season for us so far for me. -
I think Bergkamp would be a good shout, might fancy us as a step towards Arsene Wengers job in future, plus will not have the worry of flying to European Games!!! Sami Hyypia would also be another but at a big club in Champions League so would depend on whether he wanted to move back to England. Both unlikely but nice to hold out hope!

On a free till end of season if we miss other targets then possibily, also Van Persie was accused of rape (although cleared) I take him too!!!! -
Had just about enough of the armchair fools on this MB bashing Bunn. Some idiot on Canary Call was blaming Bunn for all 5 goals Saturday, a prime example of the mindset of the average Bunn basher I would suspect. No thought to the fact that Bennett and Turned were woeful and left him horribly exposed, nor the fact we saw two work dies from Henderson and Gerrard, nobodies stopping them. For me Bunn has made some fantastic saves that have kept us in games at times, normally when 1-0 down, a Banksesque one at West Ham springs to mind and several against Man Utd at home. People bashing him have no clue about football and are only focusing on the odd mistake he''s made. Yes he may not command his area like Ruddy does, but he''s not as big so its not gonna be his strength. Doesn''t mean he''s a $hit keeper. Ruddys area command was terrible when he first joined and now look at him. Bunn is one of the best shot stoppers I''ve seen in a number 1 shirt for City and he has pulled off countless top saves that have kept us in games. It seems that every goal we concede is Bunns fault now, the problem is a missing Bassong and a missing Whittaker. We''re just nowhere near as strong defensively without them and teams are getting in a lot more leaving Bunn more exposed. Get behind Bunn don''t bash him and when we do concede actually analyse the goal and exactly why we conceded, and you''ll no doubt see a combination of a Russell Martin out of position or beaten too easily, a clumsy mistimed block from Turner and a sharp finish from a top Prem striker. Not $hit goalkeeping from Bunn.
Fair points, but Ruddy played against Man Utd?

Hi, Just a quick post about the worry I have for the forthcoming season, before I get slated I''m fully behind Hughton and the squad! Looking at the league this year I think it is going to be alot harder than last year and not just because of ''2nd season syndrome'', but all 3 promoted sides are spending money and will pose more of a threat in my opinion than the 3 that went down. Not that I want us to buy Pobgrevniak on riduculous wages but signings like Clyne, Rodridguez (maybe not at £7m), Gunter and Mariappa would all have been useful signings to build on the squad. Don''t get me wrong I''m still 100% behind the club but just think it could be a tough year ahead

I for one will not be berating you for this post as I have actually heard the same thing from a reliable source, although I heard it was it was in the January when the Burnley talk materialised he was offered it (same time as Kenny rejoining Liverpool). I wouldn''t be suprised if this was very true, there were two games where Lambert looked out of sorts last season, one obviously being Sunderland away with O''Neill and the other ....... Liverpool at home. He worked under both men at Celtic and obviously there is a respect thing there but theres no smoke without fire. Anyway wobble or not I think he has jumped ship too early but that not our problem now, lets get behind Super Chrissy Hughton and the boys next season!!!!! (and hopefully finish higher than Villa again

I know its been discussed in the past, but interesting to see that old whinging Warnock signed another keeper (all be it a useless ex scummer) and says you need 3 experienced keepers in Premier League. We only have 1 with any real 1st team experience. Still think an older keeper (in the Paul Critchon mould) would be good to have around for the coming season. Any thoughts?

I think some people are only mentioning ''Green wouldn’t want to be back up'', how about the fact that he''ll probably want 40 -60k a week riduclous!!! I always have been a fan of Green he was a great keeper for us but that ship has sailed and unless he would want to drop his wages on a par with the rest of the squad and fight for his place then no thanks. I do believe we need competition for Ruddy though, Westwood is a good call or how about Matt Gilks. I know he''s been linked with some of the bigger boys, but loved his time here even though he couldn''t get a game and would probably relish another crack at it. Also 28 so good age and available for free at end of season?
