1. Papers have Koeman linked with Fer this morning, this seems more of a concern than QPR with the Dutch connection, mind you at this rate he might be the only player Southampton have!!!!!
2. We are not actually playing Celta Vigo it is a team made up of waiters and staff from Celta Hotel based in Vigo, offical line from club!
3. We are not actually playing Celta Vigo it is a team made up of waiters and staff from Celta hotel based  in Vigo!!!
4. I''m pretty sure Watford may have appealed to him geographically and he would have been a ideal replacement for Deeney, credit where credit is due, well done Neil and NCFC on this one.
5. Off topic I know but how good are Porto''s scouting team, signed Falcao, Rodriguez, Hulk and Jackson Martinez amoungst others for relatively low fees and sold on for big money, obviously Porto are massive club but fair play to them for spotting talent! I''m sure many a Premier League team wouldn''t have minded some of the above for the fees they paid!!!!
6. dinand on one year deal, think he still has something to offer! Sorry I usually hate these posts but couldn''t resist.
7. For me Rudd has to be our No 2 keeper this season at the very least, if Ruddy leaves then give him a crack at it, had a good season last year at League 1 level and needs to develop and don''t want to lose him. If Ruddy stays then and Rudd isn''t happy at No.2 look at loaning him out again if need be to another Championship team with Bunn at No.2. I think Bunn would be ok as No.2 to Rudd but his he gets found on balls into the box, look at Braintree''s goal the other night Ruddy I believe would have come and claimed that and I think Rudd is confident enough to come for balls alot of the time. I guess it all depends on Ruddy but for me Rudd is a real talent which we should be looking to hang onto and develop his potential further, timne will tell I guess.....
8. Ok I know its not Norwich related so don''t bite my head off but Villa just signed Joe Cole and maybe Kieran Richardson, hardly Lamberts normal young hungry type of player are they, just seems a strange couple of signings compared to normal.
9. I so hope you''re right I''m desperate for the lad to come good, has real quality we just need to tap into it and on top of that never had a bad word to say about us, I genuinely believe he wants to succeed here (He''ll probably stick a transfer request in now! lol). I can see it now 1st game of season off the bench, The Wolf wounds Wolves!!!!!!!!!!
10.
The thing is, if there is a top half premiership team out there that believes in his ability, they will bid the right amount (£10m) and he''ll be gone. I agree he''s not going to jump at the likes of Burnley and Hull coming in for him unless they get silly and pay him £60k a week for 5 years but he''s held in very high regard. I''m slightly worried Southampton may want to spend some of the bucket load of money they have on him.
Apparently Saints are after £8m rated former Norwich villian David Marshall
11.
Eadie''s Left, Hucks''s Right, Iwans Heed!!! wrote the following post at 07/07/2014 12:34 PM: "That said seems strange if we are keen to sign Lafferty as well?" It may have escaped your notice but....
Oooops my bad, must check before hitting post!!!
12. I''ll take it with a pinch of salt for now, but I do think there is something in our interest here with Joe Royle involved. That said seems strange if we are keen to sign Lafferty as well? Rather Rhodes than Hooper especially if he does want out then let him go and keep RVW who seems keen to try a prove a point, on a side note from that people who say he''s not strong enough for the Championship maybe so but his movement I feel is good and you don''t always have to be build like a brick s**t house if your a step ahead -sure people will disagree but its all about opinions!
13. Sods law if Bourmouth do nab Wilson he''ll end up scoring more than Grabban next season, hopefully not tho!!!
14. Interesting one for me as I know we met a release clause to sign him but I would have though if we were going to sell Surman to them we could have part exchanged? Maybe I''m putting 2+2 together and getting 5 but just a thought.
15. I would want £8-10m for him but wouldn''t be unhappy to see Rudd in team next year as a year of Championship football would help his development no end, would be gutted to lose him in similar way to Steer and to lesser extent Lewis.
16. Good old Mirror never failing to disappoint, apparently we are offering Ruddy to Arsenal all after him signing a new deal - TRIPE!!! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenal-could-bring-kim-kallstrom-3614957
17. Just keep quiet!!! “The reason we took longer than we wanted to take was because we did a review of the German market, the Italian market, Spanish market, the whole of the British Isles, to find the candidate who stood the best chance of getting us promotion as soon as possible,” And luckily the best possible candidate already worked at the club!!!!
18. Could the board salvage things with his appointment as Technical Director?
19. Just a few points on the above, the Technical Director position now becomes hugely important, if it is Ricky Martin then we have two very inexperienced (at highest level) people in charge of team affairs, for me it needs to be someone with experience. I was one of those who was hoping Lennon would get Managers gig but realistically it would have been hard to draw him here and maybe he doesn''t want to work with a Technical Director anyway. The board are a joke and make a rod for their own backs by spouting rubbish on the radio, no one in Jan, next few days, its complicated what a load of tripe it was just to try and soften us up for Adams or maybe we were rejected by others? And finally Neil himself, well like many others I''m fairly underwhelmed however, he has my full support in the role and a fresh start from August as he was on a hiding to nothing last season. I think its a risk and a risk I hoped we had learnt from with Peter Grant as it seems all the same talk excellent coach etc but is he a manager??? Well as I said I wanted Lennon but when he got Celtic gig he was at coach with no management experience so what is to say that Adams couldn''t do as well as a manager or better, he could be the next Walker, Stringer or even the next Daglish everyone has to start somewhere so lets draw a line under it, can''t changed what is done and get behind Neil and the boys for the new season.
