Let''s'' try that again ... Call me crazy but I think we should move the broadcast tv platform to the other side of the pitch so the cameras can look out at the Jarrold stand - an instant upgrade to our perception as a Premier League club... and put a big advertising mural on the hotel while we are at it. -

Professional courtesy by Sir Alex to a fellow Scot there in the 2nd half?

Well done Malky

" I saw a rumour the other week that the owners might change manager if they get to the prem, i hope this is just nonsense and he gets the chance he''s earned. I doubt it''s true but you just never know with some of the foreign owners lately. " Cardiff are not my club and Malky long gone from NCFC, but if that happened it would be terrible. But money talks, and its going to happen to several of their players for sure, so I could see it happening. -
Arsenal vs Everton
Yellow Rose of Texas replied to ReadingCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
A decent result for us as it keeps the pressure on foro results from all the top teams, but frustrating that the refereeing is so inconsistant (no sending off for an apparently very bad tackle, very soon after a yellow card was given to the same player) -
Stoke vs Norwich
Yellow Rose of Texas replied to ReadingCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
" It''s no good air-brushing this fixture. It could possibly turn out to be a clash between two of the most out-of-form sides in the history of the Premiership " Yest it could turn out to be a very good game. One thing is certain - they will certainly throw everything they have at us. We'' will have to "earn the right to play" to quote a former manager, but assuming the current sequence of dodgy decisions is broken, I don''t see them gettig past Bunn more than once. 2-1 to City. -
Agree - swap out Holt for Bennett or Pilkington, and if the latter put Snodgrass back on the right. 3-2 to City. Becchio penalty 89 min (handball after knockdown from Kamara)

Is Bunn too good to be a number 2?
Yellow Rose of Texas replied to Who are ya?'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
" maybe it is time a cash in on Ruddy? " No thank you. Unless we were to go down, then I could see the logic of cashing in and keeping Bunn. -
Did they post that link yet Swindon Canary ?

Stoke vs Norwich
Yellow Rose of Texas replied to ReadingCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
That game served to remind everyone that we DONT play like Stoke... constant ariel bombardment and mass GBH in the penalty box (unpunished of course). Play the way we did against Arsenal - compact, measured counter attacks - and we''ll beat them. -

It does seem to be measuring up to be one of the defining games of our season, certainly one we can''t afford to lose.

If Tetty and Pilkington are available, I''d put them straight back in the team .. and rest Hoolahan and put Howson or Bennett in his place behind a lone striker - probably Karama so we have some degree of pace. Hopefully Bunn will be O.K too. Do the above and I''m pretty confident we''ll get a score draw out of this game, Else 2-0 to them. -
Just what we did n't need!

Hate to say it but it''s way too hot in Texas during the Summer - and the East coast just sucks on a number of counts - sorry NY Canaries :-) Best to head out West to play Seattle, San Jose and LA. -
Retrospective ban for mcmanaman?
Yellow Rose of Texas replied to Yobocop's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
" McManaman might not have went in to deliberately injure an opponent but he went so hard that when he caught the player''s knee his other foot also left the ground " Deliberate or not, (and FIFA rules here don''t contemplate a deliberate action) the questions are - was the action careless, reckless or was it using excessive force?
