  1. Can''t buy on. Viagogo as you have to be member/ season ticket holder at Fulham.
  2. Hi Matt Is The Putney end the away end? I don''t want to sit with the Fulham lot!
  3. It''s a day out for my birthday as much as anything, so still keen on tickets.
  4. Tickets are now sold out, so will be asking for tickets on here if anyone wants to get rid after today''s abject performance
  5. Hi everyone Just phoned ncfc box office and the only tickets left are restricted view and I also only have one customer number, does anyone have a pair of tickets they want to sell or a customer number I can use to at least purchase some restricted view tkts?! .
  6. A friend of mind desperately wants to take his son to the Liverpool home game. He has a super membership - adult. He would desperately like to have a super membership number for his son (5 years old) can anyone who isn''t planning on give me a super membership number which he could use?
  7. Was when Snodgrass stole the ball off RVW to take that eon vs Villa. If RVW had taken, scored he may well have scored a few more... Plus we may have gone on to get 3 points. Sometimes what seems fairly insignificant at the time looks much worse when you look back.
  8. Yobo and Bassong v Adebayor will be battle of three high profile players who play for rival African nations! Could be a few fireworks I reckon. Hopefully Adebayor will lose his rag!!!
  9. I think we will haim enough points, but it won''t be pretty. I can see wins at home to stoke, west brom and Sunderland as well as away at west ham and possibly Swansea or Cardiff. Draws should be possible against Newcastle, villa. I can see us achieving around 38/39 points to keep us safe. But, it all depends on runs of form and picking up results against those around us. Which lets be fair, we have done ok in this season. Apart from games vs top 8 we have won 6, drawn 4 and lost 3.
  10. Yes. It is a shame we are purely talking about survival, but I guess any other team in the bottom half will be. 10 wins and 10 draws will do it. Required: 4 more wins and 5 more draws. Preferably in the next 13 games, which could be trikcy!
  11. I have just been looking at bottom half of the premier league (or at least from Southampton in 9th downwards) on the BBC website. The site is useful in that it shows win, lose and draw in last ten games. In the last ten games, we have picked up the 2nd most amount or points from the bottom 12 clubs, despite our poor form. I think this shows how average and similar the bottom half clubs are. For the record: Palace W 4 D1 L5 pts 13 Norwich w3 d3 l4 pts 12 Sunderland w2 d5 l3 pts 11 Southampton, villa, hull, stoke and Swansea w2 d3 l5 pts 9 Fulham w3 l7 pts 9 West ham w2 d2 l6 pts 8 West brom w1 d4 l5 pts7 Cardiff w1 d2 l7 pts 5 I''m not trying to make any pro or anti Hughton point here, just thought it was interesting to see that pretty much every team in that bottom half is struggling for form or to put a decent run together. I think 4 more wins this season, and throw in a few draws, and we will be safe.
  12. Both are meant to want to leave according to BBC gossip. Both experienced internationals and have that PL experience we could need. Maybe wages would be an issue, but perhaps a loan deal wouldn''t be out of question? Perhaps Fer and Wolfswinkel would be able to persuade Heitinga with the Dutch link...
  13. People saying the news is rubbish might look silly on Friday.
  14. No way. Pardew is pretty inept. Hughton is getting it right here, judge him at Christmas.
  15. People slagging welbeck off obviously don''t know the game. Granted, he was not in the game much first half, but second half he put on an excellent display. He scored, almost scored another with an excellent volley, held the ball up and ran the channels exceptionally well. He caused the Scottish defence no end of problems. He plays well whenever he plays for England, he just doesn''t get enough game time for man united. Townsend hasn''t always got it right, but this time for me he was spot on.
  16. 1. How has your pre-season gone? Results wise and performance wise? Results have been mixed - a win and two defeats on the USA tour but undefeated since - draws away at Braga and Brighton and home to Real Sociedad. A win at home to Panathanaikos to round off pre season. Performances have been ''solid'' in typical Hughton style, although there is a feeling we still need more firepower up front and to be a bit more expansive. Overall, despite one or two injury scares, it''s been a good pre season. 2. Everybody believes you''ve made some good summer signings, including two Everton targets. Have you seen much of them in pre-season and if so, how have they done? Redmond has been the most impressive, looks very bright and full of running, rounded off with MOM performance for England Under 21. A real snip at 3 million. Fer, an Everton target, also looks very sting, a box to box type midfielder, although Hughton has played him in the no 10 (Fellini) role. Luckily for ou, he is supsended Saturday. val Wolfswinkel has looked pretty quiet so far, but gets in some good positions, and Hooper has been bright. Martin Olsson will be consistent and another cheap, reliable signing. Overall, we have bought well and our squad looks strong. 3. Have you made enough signings? Is there anywhere you haven''t yet improved which you feel you needed to? Although we were good defensively last season, we probably need a centre back who can play alongside Bassong, and/or replace him when injured as when he was missing last season it was a problem. We also have 3 strikers who have never scored in the premier league between them; I can''t help thinking we need someone with a bit of pedigree who can play up front or just in behind. 4. Who will be your key player/s this season? I expect The spine of the team to play its part and I hope they stay fit. Ruddy, Bassong, Fer, Hoolahan and RvW is as good a spine as any team outside the top 6. Also I feel Snodgrass is ready for another big season. I also have a feeling this could be Jonny Howson''s season to step up. He was derided for much of last season by some fickle fans, but came to the fore at the end. 5. What are your expectations of the season? I expect us to finish mid table again, between 9th and 14th. I hope we play more exciting football at times, and can have a decent cup run. 6. What are your thoughts on Chris Hughton? Is he the man to take you forward? He certainly is. His signings have been excellent and he fulfilled the brief of staying up. Although, finishing 11th was slightly lucky as the last 3 months were pretty scary, he needs to learn when to be more positive and to make subs a little earlier when we are struggling. But overall he s a likeable, honest manager who is slowly making a difference Moving on to Everton... 7. The Blues have seen a new manager take the Goodison reigns. What do you make of Roberto Martinez? How do you think he will fare at Everton? To be completely honest, I think he is the most overrated manager in the premier league from the past few years. Wigan finished mid table under both Jewell and Bruce and Martinez took them down without learning that his defence was always the problem. That said, I think Everton may suit him as a club, and he will keep you in the op half. Moyes is a hard act to follow. I hope he doesn''t keep the policy of signing Wigan players! 8. If, hypothetically, you could sign any ONE Everton player for free, who would it be and why? Maybe an unusual answer, but I would go for Steven Pienaar. I have always loved his tenacity and the way he attacks down the left and through the middle. 9. Where do you think us Toffee''s will finish this season? I think you will finish 8th. Finally, the match... 10. Who will be your biggest threat to the Everton side on Saturday? (Now Grant Holts gone ;) ) I think Snodgrass coming off the wing and RvW will probably cause the biggest threat. I believe Redmond and hooper will be in the bench and will be a threat if brought on. 11. From the away side, who do you think will trouble your Canaries side the most? Fellaini if he plays. He is am exceptional player and I hope for your sake you hold on to him. Also Kone caused us problems last season, and Osman always seems to score against us! 12. Predictions? I will go for a 1-1 draw, with Snodgrass scoring for City and Fellaini equalising for Everton,. Good luck for the rest of the season, and good questions!
  17. Didn''t realise sociedad finished 4th in la Lisa last season (effectively 2nd if you count out Barca and Real Madrid!) an excellent achievement. Could be a very tough game, and hope people won''t start crying if we lose. I am thinking it could be another draw, 1-1. OTBC
  18. Ruddy Whittaker Martin R Bennett Garrido Fer Howson Snodgrass Hoolahan Redmond RvW Subs Bunn, Turner, Olsson, Johson/Tettey, Pilkington, E Bennett, Hooper
  19. Ruddy; Martin, R Bennett, Bassong, Olsson; Fer, Johnson; Hoolahan, Snodgrass, Redmond, RVW. SUBS Bunn, turner, Whittaker, howson, Tettey, Pilkington, Becchio. Obviously, I guess we will sign a couple more players, but as it stands I would go with the above!
  20. Sounds like an option. He would offer cover and competition at least, but would he necessarily be an improvement on Tierney? Ps. Punctuation lessons in order!!!
  21. He was also, in my opinion, one of the worst players to ever play for NCFC in the premier league. Granted he had a few moments of impact, the rest of the time he looked like a headless chicken. Whenever he started it felt like we had 10 men.
  22. Was on Twitter. So probably no substance to it but just thought I would post anyway!
  23. Your team from the game v Wigan was very inaccurate, the starting XI was ruddy, Martin, de laet, whitbread, Tierney, fox, crofts, Surman, hoolahan, Morison, holt.
  24. Latest name we are being linked with, good player. Apparently Celtic would be interested if Barnett went as part of deal.
