1. Bennett for me. When teams are running at us forwards find it way too easy to get away from Bassong and Martin. Neither seem to be bale to track a runner particularly well. It seems as though they ball watch while the attacker drifts away into space. I noticed it early on in the season, and once I became aware of it I now see it game after game.
2. Fair enough, we''ll remove Brannan then. As for Sealand, I have spoken to the manager of Sealand as my friend plays for them. They are mostly a bunch of mates that have no connection to Sealand, but just saw an opportunity to play ''international'' football by representing a self-proclaimed country. I think the way to qualify to play for Sealand is to have a beer with their manager. Charlton may have played for them, but it in no way means he is a ''national'' of the country. It''s a bit of a gimmick really. A great find though!

5. Sounds like it''s a bit of a mess there at the minute. Long may that continue.
6. ''Lewis Grabban'' now trending on Twitter.Purely because of the shock of the reported fee we are getting.
7.
here''s an obscure one......Simon Charlton, Sealand http://www.sealandgov.org/announcements/simon-charlton-to-captain-sealand
Haha. Good find! I spoke to the manager of Sealand about making a documentary about them but it never took off. I didn''t know Charlton had played for them.
8. This will probably end up as an Archant article at some point.

12. This might be a mammoth undertaking, but I''m wondering how many nationalities have played for us in total. If I start a list, feel free to add to it. Try and keep in in alphabetical order to keep it readable! No need to add more than one name per country as we are just counting countries, not players... I think British born players who have played for another country can count for that nation... Argentina: Beccio Australia: Michael Theoklitos Belgium: Vadis Cameroon: Bassong Canada: Jim Brennan Congo, Democratic Republic of: Mbokani Denmark: Helveg France: Jean-Yves de Blasiis Ireland: Wes Italy: Lupoli Jamaica: Loza Morocco: Safri Netherlands: RVW Nigeria: Efan Ekoku Norway: Tettey Portugal: Pinto (soon) Senegal: Pape Diop Serbia: Maric Sierra Leone: Kai Kamara South Africa: Matty Pattison Spain: Victor Segura Sweden: Olsson Switzerland: Geatano Giallanza UK: Loads USA: Zak Whitbread That''s 25 to get us started. Cut and paste the list from the person above if you have a nationality to add...
13. Very interesting. Any idea where the trails are taking place Daz? Premier League? Lower leagues? Sounds like a good idea to me.
14. We are in talks with experienced keepers (including one that city fans know very well!) so we can assume that either Kean is surplus to requirements or that Ruddy is going to be moved on and the replacement keeper will battle it out with Rudd.
15.
Woostercanary; I''ve never been to Stoke before so, other than turning up early and using the South car park, has anyone any tips on where to park reasonably close to the stadium? We are driving up Wooster, and using Just Park, best go on line, and book early and can get parked within 1/2 mile of the ground, and get away quite easy after, longer leave further from ground you will end up having to park.
Thanks for the heads up on this LC. Never heard of JustPark but I just signed up and got a space very close to the ground for £3.60. Useful site!
16. Working in Birmingham, I could drive up there in an hour straight from work. Doubt I can persuade any work mates to go with me though. Won''t be the first time I''ve had to go on my own to a game!
17. Hi Purple. See here for Timm Klose''s listing on Giallanza''swebsite: http://www.giallanzasport.com/spieler/ and here to see it''s Gaetano''s compan: http://www.giallanzasport.com/agentur/
18. His agent is Gaetano Giallanza (for the younger members, he played for us briefly). Could he have touted Klose to us?
19. And he has a couple of years more experience since that was made...
20. Here''s an Ivo Pinto ''Best Bits'' YouTube clip if you want to get a flavour of what he''s like. We all know that these things can paint a false picture, but at least we can see him in action here. To be honest, it looks like whoever made it just put every touch he had over several games. The first half of the video isn''t exactly impressive, but in the second half he looks good. Fast, attacking full back with a decent cross and happy to run into midfield too.Take a look:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG-omzjEq6E
