Grant Holt looked superb!
Will they be on again later do you reckon ?  How often does the news cycle on there ?
I would think that should scroll again within the hour.  Holty showed incredible strength, for his rebound goal and the fourth was a cracker, in off the post!
Cheers mark, hopefully the missus will finish watching Holby flippin City by then...
Holby City! Tell her you wanna be watching Holty''s City! LOL

4. ...before Saturday, our odds of winning the league were 7-1 and lo and behold, we lose, yes, 7-1. Now our odds of winning the league are 14-1... Yeovil away. Oh s*** !
5. Gunny Play this to the squad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUWGBQsnz-I and failing that, play this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKN7aWTUrIU :-)
6. Unfortunately I will miss the game as will be coming home from holiday. I honestly hope that I miss the best game in the world as its all about the win and not whether I see it or not.
7.
Truth is though they battered Coventry in the second half and were unlucky not to win , they will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season .
Yes, but think of it this way.  We played utterly crap = nil points.  Ipswich played really well = nil points.  We know we can play better.  We''ve seen it pre-season.  Can Ipswich play better/maintain this alleged standard?
8. Yes, but for the first time ever, his surname rhymes and fits in perfectly. Can''t ask for better than that!
9. How very kind of Ipswich to employ Roy Keane, why? It rhymes with ''Sleepy Jean'' So when they start doing badly, sing your heart out ! "Cheer up Roy Keane!!"
10. Does anyone know the last time that we went unbeaten pre-season and if we have done it before, how did we do in the following season?
11. Now first of all, don''t get me wrong, if Worthy brought in a younger centre back for the future tomorrow to replace Fleming then I would have no complaints, but for goodness sake I really think we should cut the bloke a little slack! Yes, he is getting older but I thought he had quite a decent game last night.  Quite a few times he made successful last ditch tackles which may have prevented goals.  I remember one in particular, centrally, just inside the box and the bloke next to me said "if that had been Doc, it would have been a penalty". His distribution last night was fine.  I only remember one stray pass and again in particular, first half, I remember a lovely weighted pass which Ashton caught on his chest. He voiced his opinion on the pitch - whenever Crewe had a goal kick I noticed him shouting across at Shackell. I agree that Fleming is not the future and I also agree that Shackell is our best defender on current form, but Flem is the present and I am just not so sure he really is as bad as everyone is saying. When Crewe scored, he was the only defender within a yard of a Crewe player.  He had to move up to make a crunching tackle as our midfield failed to make a single tackle in the whole of the first half (well, I don''t remember one!).  This meant MLJ had to move inside which is why we got caught out. Even Shackell got caught out for pace last night when he got his yellow card. If the reason Flem is a bad defender is because he is getting older then what is Doc''s excuse?  IMO it should be DOC we give the transfer to, whilst he is still worth something. I maybe wrong but I just swear blind that if we won a game 4-3 and Flem scored all 4, there would be calls for his head as he conceded 3! I''ll probably get no one who will agree with me but....hey ho!
12. Hi stan! I know that by the time you read this reply you will probably be already home, but I thought I would stick a reply on here anyway mate. Good to hear from you on the telephone from the Big Apple. How many Ipswich fans did you see jumping from the top??
13. Just had a look Archie. I think what has happened is that his shirt has twisted round so that the Proton symbol is now out of view to the side. Nothing suspicious, but it does look strange.
14. Carrow King, can I just remind you that a certain Man City and Coventy didn''t think it was worth hanging onto a certain Mr Huckerby?
15. I agree, Kevin Cooper has been excellent for us. I think that Wolves may not be able to afford NOT to sell him. I mean, some of their so called "big name" stars must be on quite a wage and I think that they will have to look to reduce the wage bill. Its not like they would be losing Cooper to another Division One team. Cooper can''t want to go back either so I think we have a great chance of signing him.
16. I must admit if Ipswich do get promoted it will take a little bit of the shine off it all for me. I remember where I was when Ipswich scored those goals to win the play off final and feeling gutted that our rivals had won promotion and were singing and dancing. I also remember sitting at home watching the open top bus come through Ipswich and all that blue and white and all the Ipswich fans singing and dancing. I said to myself then - "It will be our day one day." We had the play off final ourselves and didn''t quite make it. That day though is now dawning and I just want some Ipswich fan to remember where he was when he heard Norwich had been promoted and I want some Ipswich fan to be sat at home watching the Norwich bus. Its our turn this time. Why do those Ipswich have to take away our glory! They can have their day another year but not this one. This one is ours. (and not next year either unless we secure premiership status!)
17. If you give the main switchboard a ring, ask for the Colney training ground telephone number. Then if you ring Colney, they will tell you when the players will be there training. They usually have to be at Colney for 10.00am so they all tend to arrive at different times between 9.00am and 10.00am. You can park in the car park where the players park, then as they arrive you can get an autograph. If you get there for 9.00am, all being well, you can get the whole squad in an hour! Its more difficult getting the autographs when they leave as they all leave together so you tend to miss quite a few. Good luck.
18. I can personally say that I have heard stan sing and so i''m not so sure that''s a good idea. I mean it would be enough to make Arsenal edgy!! Seriously though, with you all the way stan. In the great words of Little Britain: "So Andy, what do you want, Promotion or no promotion?" "Want that one" "Promotion......good choice...."
19. If PK is some kind of Mystic Meg or the like then I make one request. PK, please tell us the results of the remaining fixtures so that I can at last let my nails grow again!
20. Just seen todays results. Wigan no points, West Ham 1 point. Not really worried about Baggies - I mean, I''ll take second. The prize is the Premiership not the league championship. With 3 points tomorrow, we can go 10 points clear of 3rd and 3 points clear of 2nd with a game in hand on 2nd. COME ON YOU CANARIES! Those going to the game tomorrow, we must sing and shout for 90 minutes and really get behind them. Not saying we don''t already but we have a big part to play now and we must sing like we have never done before!
21. silver fox, I hear what you say, you make some good points, but define "better with the inclusion of shackell". Better then 5 points clear at the top? Are Arsenal looking to change their defence in the same position? If Worthy decided to drop MacKay suddenly for Shackell, we would all be on here (quite rightly so) stating that Worthy has lost the plot! Shackell is young. He has not proven himself properly at Division 1 level (OK he has had a couple of good games) but I don''t believe that any so called "big club" is likely to come in for him just yet - especially with limited money floating about nowadays - they want to be sure they are buying quality that can help them succeed. Don''t worry. Shackell is there lying in waiting. He will get his chance I am sure but just at the moment we need to continue on as we are. The defence are solid and I am sure this is attributed to the fact that they all know each other and its been the same back 5 for sometime. Lets not upset the applecart just so that we don''t lose a player for the future. I would be VERY surprised if MacKay & Fleming played the rest of the season together. Heaven forbid but its possible one of them may miss a game - and Shackell will be ready to pounce!
22. Personally, I like to put a few quid on at Ladbrokes at the ground. Rather then rely on ''lady luck'' with Golden Goal, its more fun trying to goal guess with first/last scorer etc and for a small stake you can win quite a bit. E.G. Norwich to win 1-0 with Easton to score I am sure would have odds of at least ten million to one (Mind you I hear he scored a great goal for Reserves) I quite enjoy having a little flutter at Ladbrokes before the game. I just wish they would put the team sheet up earlier so we know who''s playing before we bet! With regards to Golden Goal, I must admit that I have never bought a ticket. I hear that someone from scum bought a ticket the other day. He scratched it off and it said "a fortnight Tuesday"......
23. silver fox, I hear what you are trying to say but answer me this. We are top of the first division by 5 points. We are clear of the play-offs by 9 points. We have the best defence in the league. How can you say changing personnel "would give us more?" Give us more what? Surely we can''t get better then we have at the moment. The facts speak for themselves. No need to bring in any loan signings for central defence. I agree Shackell is looking good and any other time then I am sure he would have figured in the first team more but I say again: IF IT AIN''T BROKEN, DON''T FIX IT. I can''t see why Worthy is looking to strengthen the defence. Somebody give me the name of a player who we could reasonably look to bring in that you would want to immediatley replace either Edworthy, Fleming, Mackay or Drury? I think that our problem as City fans at present is that we like to have a moan (not saying you were moaning silver fox) but with the players doing so well, we are struggling with what to complain about! I don''t think there is a single team in Division 1 or below that wouldn''t take any of our defenders right now.
24. Stan mate, I am surprised that you have been able to type that message. I heard that your fingers were still aching from voting for Peter Andre on your mobile phone!...Ha-Ha-Ha We had a great laugh coming back from the Wimbledon game. In high spirits, we whacked in a couple of 60''s compilation CD''s and then re-worded all the songs so they tied in with Norwich City. Two of my favourites were: (To tune of "Pretty Flamingo") "He''s our rock, he play''s in defense, watch Fleming go" (To tune of "Sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey") "Sweet strike from Hucks, sugar was all mouldy, sums up our day in Milton Keynes" Any others??
