    Sunderland fans may well be bullish but I do have a soft spot for them. Was anyone else at the Everton away match around 92/93? I was there with my brother sat in the away end at Goodison, looking at all the empty seats when all these sunderland fans started drifting in. It turned out their match at Tranmere had been postponed and rather than go home, they had decided to come to our match. They didn''t take the p**s out of beating us in the semi-final the previous year(to my surprise), but led us in chants of "If you all hate Ipswich", and "Scotlands no.1"(at Bryan Gunn, who was inspired that day).
    They really did create a great atmosphere and were happy to swop scarves at full time. That said, I hope they do have a couple of bad results and make the next month or so a bit easier on the nerves!! OTBC

    It is difficult being a Norwich fan so far away,- most of my work colleagues are baggies or Bristol City fans, I even work with a Binner!! I have taken so much stick over the last few
    years and it has been great this season to be able to hold my head up high. I too play football on a saturday afternoon so can''t get to games but that doesn''t make me any less of
    a fan. I seem to lose concentration during the last 10 minutes of matches through worrying
    about how the boys are doing!!
    Try "watching" the derbies on radio 5 sport extra, staring at a blue screen on a sunday
    afternoon and justifying it to a missus who just doesn''t understand. Try watching the play-off semi-finals in a pub packed with wolves fans and being the only canary in there. Then
    watch the final in the same pub which is packed with Birmingham fans. (All brummies come to
    weston-super-mare to live, god knows why!).
    There is no such thing as a part time fan, it is where your heart is what counts. My heart
    is Yellow and Green, has been since I was 7, (I am now 30), and always will be. We are all in it together. Let us not forget. OTBC

    ON THE WALL IN MY LOCAL SOCIAL CLUB WITH THE BIG MANS SIGNATURE ON IT.(ALL THE WAY DOWN HERE IN SUNNY WESTON SUPER MARE).
    AS FOR DALE GORDON, I KNOW FLASH WAS MAINLY A WINGER BUT I HAD TO GET HIM IN THERE SOMEHOW. CHECK OUT THE 88-89 SEASON VIDEO FOR HIS RIGHT SIDED GENIUS!!
