  1. Worth a look for sure, but now no chance. Before Euro 2004 we may have had a sniff of a chance but not now.
  2. He won''t leave the North West. Remember the West Ham situation? He''ll go to Man City or someone like that.
  3. Thanks Celia. I live too far away to buy one personally, will you be selling it online when it comes out on 3rd July?
  4. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Big Man''s autobiography? Has it been released yet? It still feels weird without him...
  5. To swindoncanary, YES, super sunny Weston Super Mare!!
  6. Its all real now lads & lasses!! As if I wasn''t nervous enough already about tonights match, they go and do this fixture list to me...
  7. It will happen when it happens! I am sure Worthy is carefully planning his transfer raids. He knows who he wants and who he can afford and hopefully PC is on the list. Until then will everyone calm down!!
  8. He will demand high wages. Game over. He would probably have a hissy fit if he was dropped anyway.....can you see Worthy standing for that?
  9. Arsenal away. We will be 2-0 down, and come back to win 4-2. Svensson to chip Lehman from 25 yards to score the fourth. Who remembers that day in 1992? I thought they''d got the score wrong when it came on the radio.
  10. Good timing SD. It was just starting to fade a bit(the elation, warm feeling inside, knowiing the scum will be off to Rotherham, Plymouth etc ha,ha). Just read the latest article on Bentley where it states that he cannot play against Arsenal next season, my initial reaction was "For heavens sake!", but then I thought "hang on, at least we WILL be playing Arsenal next season!!! On top of that, here I am in Weston-Super-Mare, (not exactly full of NCFC fans), when a BT Ford Transit turns up in the garage I work at,with a "WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE" scarf on the dashboard, NCFC seat covers, and a flag on the dividing bulkhead. I AM NOT ALONE..... I feel all warm again.. OTBC
  11. Nice one. I wonder if Megson tried to get him at the last minute. Maybe a tempting offer of "join us, sit on the bench for 75 minutes and barge into people when you do get on", didn''t appeal to him. OTBC
  12. Everyone log on to www.playforyourclub.com. We are currently mid-table in Div 1. Come on, this is our chance to get us promoted. AFC Wimbledon are in top spot...
  13. Apparantley, Di Canio is first class in training and we all know he wears his heart on his sleeve. If we got one player of his age and experience it would be ok. Its when clubs get too many in they struggle.(Bradford.Leeds etc). I say go for it....
  14. With regards to Paul Gallacher and where will he fit in, there is nothing wrong with competition for places. Keep Greeno on his toes and he will be even better next year. If we have competition all over the team we will not suffer from complacency.
  15. I agree. He did look good last night, but maybe he realises he won''t be 1st choice at Southampton and was playing in the "shop window". Either way, would love to see him back.
  16. Most Improved-has to be Svensson. After the stick he was getting, he has really shown his true colours. Most dissapointing- Slightly different thread, but Iwan going, very upsetting indeed. And I had hoped to see more of Jarvis, I hope we will in the future. OTBC.
  17. I should be jumping for joy. I''m not. Why you ask? Even though we won the league last night, we lost 1-0. It shouldn''t bother me that much should it? Someone help me, please!! At least now I can get my "Champions" tattoo done. I''m going mad. Too much success in one season I think, just not used to it. OTBC
  18. Just what I said last week. He would be ideal for us. A lot to prove & first team premiership football. Happy Days!!
  19. Tottenham 83-84. We won 2-1. I remember we scored first(Bertschin?), and as we were celebrating Ally Dick equalized. Mike Channon won it for us with an absolute cracker, right in front of me. Off he went, windmilling around the pitch and i was yellow and green forever. Thanks to my dad for taking me to games even though he is an Everton fan. OTBC
  20. You never know. Look at Bolton and Sam Allardyce, he has a good blend of hard working players and flair players who work well together. Its all about how the manager can handle the top earners, which I think Worthy has shown he treats all equally, with discipline and still creating a good team spirit. I would love to see him here, but I think a top six side will get him, probably Newcastle or Liverpool. OTBC
  21. No. If we had the title in the bag then yes. We should keep it professional, too much at stake to let hearts rule over heads. Love him to death though. What a legend.
  22. David Bentley from Arsenal. He must be well down the pecking order at Highbury. We could even get him on a season long loan, he could be our Forssell.
  23. Archie, I toatally agree. I had hoped the club would offer him something, but i suppose we are a business at the end of the day. Hopefully we can use his wages to get some quality players in. To Iwan: Thankyou. You have been a shining example to all young pro''s. I will be sorry to see you go. Good Luck at your next club, I will look out for your results next season. Thanks for the memories.....
