1. After getting promoted in 2005, West Ham finished 9th in the Premiership (55 points) and got to the FA Cup Final where they lost on penalties to Liverpool in what was one of the best ever finals. They were also 8th after 25 games, albeit with 3 more points than we currently have. Also as with the previous two seasons we have got stronger as the season has progressed, which seems to be happening again now. Could we replicate what the Hammers achieved in 2006?  I certainly think we can.
2. I agree. I had noticed the similarities of the League 1 and Championship seasons, how we started slowly but got stronger as the season progressed.  I was unsure if we would continue that pattern ths season, but having won 6 out of 9 and only losing one since Spurs it seems that looks set to happen again.  We can finish as high as we like.
3. I''m not sure that''s the reason.  I remember when we played West Ham in 2005 in the FA Cup I had to move (I''m in block J usually) because they had the full allocation.
4. Absolutely, the only thing that would stop me having a season ticket is finances.  And even if things got tighter, the season ticket would be the last thing I give up.
5. I think part of the problem with Torres is Chelsea''s style doesn''t suit him.  Their system is set up for someone like Drogba - big, heavy, target man.  Not someone like Torres who needs the ball to feet, played for him to run on to or crossed in on to his head...  If Torres was here I think he''d score way more regularly because of the way we play.
6. Other than Shaun Carey, from my yellow/green spectacles it''s Darren Eadie.  But saw Lionel Messi in the Champions League Final last year, so gotta say him really!!
7. 41 of the current 92. Also been to Wembley (old and new), Highbury, Layer Road, Hockey Stadium (MK), Millennium Stadium and Croke Park.
8. Great post. I find it so satisfying watching him pee off Fellaini, and also when he took out Baines....  Best of all was the two times he floored John Terry at Chelsea.  He must have been waiting years to be able to do that to some of these "stars".
9. I recognised the name but couldn''t remember who he was.  Have since seen the article on the pinkun and the NCFC website, and I know exactly who he is. Didn''t even realise he was ill, very sad though. RIP
10. Pete, I have Duchenne myself - if you want any help with anything just PM me...
11. Hard to say 3, I find there are so many teams I dislike whenever I watch football...  About half the Premier League for starters, before you go into the Championship lol.  The League one sides are ok though.
12. I would expect the signing on fees and wages to be vastly higher though, what we are doing is more sustainable, if we got relegated.
13.
Why are the squad numbers taking so long to come out? Really want to get Vaughan on the away shirt but don''t know whether I can be bothered to wait for the numbers to be released!
Could always get Vaughan on now and get the number at a later date....
14. People don''t have to be front row though do they, I have no choice but to be front row in the South Stand so had couldn''t move to avoid the problem of being too low.  If I didn''t have to be there I would move.
15. To be honest, I got such a sense of pride that there were so many people there because of the achievments of my team. Seeing all that yellow was something else. Whatever sort of fan they are or aren''t, I don''t care!
16. Banana has it spot on there. But, if they jump on the bandwagon, because we''re doing well who bloody well cares. Better than them not going and just staying at home supporting man u or whoever instead.
17. I agree it''s excellent.. Gonna be great to get decent highlights every week.
18. Ben - I thought on sky it was like 55 min? With one whole game on at about half 8?
19.
Got to be honest I can''t see any glaring inaccuracies in that article. The errors regarding Lambert''s name was down to Delia''s exuberance rather than duff reporting.
Some things were taken out of context, like "staying up" was obviously not referring to this season. And the fact we were playing Man City not United.
20. I wouldn''t say they are unfair, could be fairer but that''s about it. 6th play 3rd so in theory that is to give the 3rd best team the best chance. I think they should be, 3rd get''s a bye to Wembley, then 6th play 5th away, with the winner of that playing 4th away... Then the winner of that plays 3rd in the final.
21. Someone''s just confirmed to me on Facebook, it is... But blimey, I was near him at Watford and Ipswich as also in the wheelchair areas... And now he''s died. Wasn''t my favourite person, but still that is awful. RIP Richard.
22. Richard Matthew''s as in the large guy with grey hair often used a manual wheelchair?
