1. I agree, think we''ve got at least another season out of him regardless. It''s interesting that if it wasn''t for Lambert we''d still be in L1 with Gunn... We might still have been in L1 but I''m pretty sure that we got Lambert had any effect on the Gunn sacking!
2. Never thought I''d see you on here aggy (im bparkin1988)!! I''m not sure I agree, at times I think he''s been class. But has been poor of late, maybe he''s getting tired having played almost constantly since he came back from injury with Barnett being injured. Still a better choice than Edwards imo.
3. I thought the atmosphere was good and bad at times - I think it got worse as the nerves set in. But in all the years I''ve been going I''ve never known a reaction to a goal like that, never heard it so loud or seen people go as crazy as they did. I just dread to think what it would be like V Coventry if it was a last minute goal that sealed promotion!
4. To be fair though, we are a different proposition to what we were then. Also you''ve got to bare in mind we are better away than at home (altho our home form has improved since we lost to pompey). They''d been steadily climbing the table too then so were more confident... 5 points behind us... Now they are 21 points behind us. I fully expect us to go there and get the points, however I agree it''s the toughest out of the games left and it won''t be easy.
5. I''m not remotely religious at all, but am starting to wonder if god is actually Paul Lambert.
6. I guess if we beat Ipswich and Derby it will probably sell out - in fact I imagine many are waiting to see how we do.
7. I''m sure as you go into the O2, there is some American style sports bar on the left side... Opposite Starbucks and the O2 shop I think.
8.
Stadium development.
That''s occured to me too, either we can magically add, say 2000 seats.. Or someone has agreed to fund ground expansion for us...
9. I imagine it could be something to do with a new kit... As someone said. Or investment? Maybe Lambert has signed a 10 year contract or something lol.
10. What really irritates me, the sky Premiership deal seems to increase each time it''s negotiated... But despite the "tough economic times" (seriously? this is sky we''re talking about) the Football League deal is reduced? When I''d say the FL quality has improved to a greater extent than the Premiership in the last decade or so.
11. Think it could go either way... If everyone wins at the weekend so we need to win too the pressure could work against us.
12. I''m not sure, Chris Brown should have been sent off and could have been twice (IMO - once for a hand in Tierney''s face, and the other for what I''m sure looked like an elbow on Ward) and Preston might have struggled without his presence. Also, when we were trying to attack towards the end their players going down and getting ridiculously soft free-kicks so we couldn''t attack didn''t help - might have scored if one or two weren''t given.
13. I''m sorry but there is no way Becchio only goes down when touched, that is unbelievable. Holt is no worse or better than him.
14. GJL I think it''s more we haven''t played great last few weeks, and Lambert chaning things to try and improve the performances. I suspect though, if we don''t get a goal soon (in fact wouldn''t surprise me if they change at start of second half) he will change it.
15. The guy who said it looked like a trip, it''s what I saw as well and confirmed by replay. Yes, might be light weight but if that ain''t a foul I don''t know what is. However we probably do deserve to be losing.
16. Isn''t he the James Henry we had on loan the year we went down?
17. The only problem is people''s obsession with big names and others have signed more than we have and think that makes them stronger. Even though I''d say people like Hoolahan, Surman, Barnett are big namrs.
18. Cheapest way is to get a return from Norwich-Peterborough, Peterborough-Grantham, Grantham-Nottingham and finally Nottingham to Sheffield (still all on the same train). With my disabled railcard, a return from Norwich to Sheffield is about £92 (for my carer and I), splitting it up like that brings it down to £60.
19. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11708_6632842,00.html Malky MacKay ain''t saying much about the job either, so his he resigning too?
20. Well there''s a surprise, of course we will expect compensation just as you did!  Not many Norwich fans denied that. Also the difference is, moving from ColU to us was a step up, moving to Burnley won''t be!  If he is going that is.
21. I play for them too, would be really grateful if anyone bids for these, any support is vital to allow us to be able to compete with other teams around the country.
22. Ward is generally good, but has cost us 3 goals in the last 3 games...  2 of which were similar.  He should have done better preventing the ball getting to Commons at Derby, and then yesterday and the 1st goal V Portsmouth were virtually the same.
