  1. Send in the sniffer dogs!!! Must be drugs there somewhere!
  2. would have to be.. 1 k Naughton 2 R Bertrand 3 C Bellamy In that order
  3. Anyone else think he would be a useful addition on the wing. Thought he was very lively last season and scored a few too. There was some reports a while back saying we were interested with a few other teams. Thoughts?
  4. I know how you feel Chris. But tbh you''ve not been ''slated''. There''s just so many on here that have got a reputation for dodgy ''whispers'', and being in the know. They''ve passed that rep on I''m afraid! And to be fair you''ve not said its going to happen, so dont take it too personal mate. Not every1 on here are ogre''s (won''t mention any names!)

  6. As someone else said.... what an embarrassment some of you are. Can''t believe some of the garbage spouted! A few claim to have seen him and i quote... "can''t stress how poor he is".... B*ll*ks Ive followed City since i was 6 or 7 which is close on 40 yrs. We are in a superb position just now and although i had reservations about CH I''m willing to take on board what those (who know him better) have said. This is 1st signing since coming to Norwich and may well be cover rather than 1st choice, and will no doubt sign more players. Whittaker is a decent signing. Yes I''ve seen him play, no i dont like Rangers/Celtic so don''t care that much about them. He''s been a constant in the Rangers side including the time when they''ve struggled on and off the field over the last few years. Well done Mr Hughton a free signing for a decent squad player has to be applauded. Wait till you''ve seen him play 5 or 6 times THEN make your minds up.
  7. Agree to a certain extent flecky. But what about Jelavic? I have to admit i didnt think he would do as well as he has at Everton. Aluko?!?! not sure! But he is very highly rated by many.
  8. Maybe half! Dont think he would be such a good player in half!!
  9. iluveadie & Aggy etc. Give up lol! Most of these guys don''t read all posts, or only part of a post, or don''t get the correct viewpoint of it, they get the wrong idea, or don''t see follow up posts. Others will just be totally mean/miserable/argumentative/rude just for the sake of it. Some just will not be wrong & not be swayed by reasoning. This is why I, and many many many others don''t post too much here. You will probably see what i mean after they''ve read this haha! Do i care? Yes actually cos I''m a genuine nice guy and do care what people think of me. I''m also not really an argumentative person! Fortunately there''s also a lot of decent folk on here and some genuine good thoughts. And of course we all have 1 thing in common - being Norwich City supporters (apart from a few 1p5swich trolls disguised as Canaries!). Anyhooo OTBC COYY Hughtons Yellow army! rsvp :-D
  10. haha some funny comments. How about Peter Grant having another chance Maybe make rodent his number 2. Sorry, i cant even joke about it.... not funny times at all!!! Neville maybe a good shout as assistant?!
  11. Actually (IN MY OPINION), Clucks right! There was a number of games last season where I (as well as many many others) felt tactically pl was wrong. Especially when it came to a few home games that we should have won, but went too defensive. Dont get me wrong. i really did admire Paul Lambert and he definitely got the best out of the players. However, at times i think he was tactically wrong. And b4 you start.... No I am NOT a manager but know when some tactics don''t look right!

Actually think he would work well with our midfield and Morrison or Simeon with him. I do feel Morrison or Vaughny will go well alongside Simeon tho for coming season. Think S Jackson has a lot more to offer than most people think! Give him a good run and we''ll see Your post was ridiculous from the first line to the last ! Michael Owen ??? get a grip ..I would rather see chris martin back here....he has a lot more to offer than YOU think . Well I''ll at least try and be a little more charming than you.... I was asking for opinions on Michael Owen! tbh we''ve not seen him too much but what I''ve seen last year he still knows where the goal is and sorry but are you seriously saying he''s not better than Chrissy Martin???? Mmm. Ok then! Anyway, not my idea of fun arguing with fellow supporters. So won''t reply again Barclay seats, unless your obvious tension subsides mate. Jordan Rhodes would be the ideal choice but somehow think we wouldn''t get him. Gary Hooper from Celtic (spl top scorer with 24) and 24 yrs old. Not sure with wages but southampton interested in him apparently

  14. I agree aggy. I start reading and then after a page & a half or 2 pages it starts getting too much and taking to long. Ruddygore. International Playboy?! Wanna swap for a week or 2 lol
  15. Thought i would just be different haha So, if we get the right players in, (and i mean sensible possibilities not Drogba, Messi etc), could we maybe take a top 7/8 position? Realistically who said we would finish 12th this year??? And only 6 points from 8th! If you look at some of the games we were better and then lost or drew by giving stupid goals away we could''ve made up those 6 points quite easily. Anyhow what do you''s think??
  16. I believe you were talking about the amount of repeated threads (or basically saying the same thing). Maybe I''m mistaken?! I didn''t repeat anyone else. But basically trying to calm all the speculation as it was obviously getting to PL. I certainly haven''t got your sort of time! To copy and paste all them thread titles etc must''ve taken a bit of time. I have to pick and choose the threads i reply to, as i really dont have the time lol. Hence my relatively few posts in 7 years As regards getting humpy or grumpy. No not me mate. I''m 45 disabled & got 8 kids at home plus the older childrens kids around alot too! I''m immune haha (as well as stupid probably) Anyhow, hopefully we''ll start getting some different threads now and chill out about our manager of the Century and next seasons top scorer!
  17. Actually a decent thread. Well done Muffles! Was thinking about this earlier and quite like your idea as it would make for a more attacking game (during normal time). I like the golden goal option too. But also thought of removing 4 players from each side for two 10 mins halves or something along those lines. Love some of the funnier options! How about this option.... Get the players wives/girlfriends/mothers/grannies on for 30 mins and see what the score is then. Mind you think the shower rooms after would be bedlam! BTW Blatter has decided this because of the champions league final (obviously). What did he say when England was losing on penalties??? Sweet F.A
  18. My post on there was to say SHUT UP ABOUT LAMBERT! Simply because of this issue and how if i was PL I would be getting peed off too. So your facts don''t really ring true do they! Never mind, you seem to have plenty of time on your hands. Fortunately some of us have lives! BTW.... PLEASE SHUT UP ABOUT PL NOW! haha
  19. Hahaha. Funny i actually thought the same thing. Think Pete should just delete every post on Lambert going/staying. Mind you, what would be left?
  20. To be totally honest, yes I''ve been worried about Paul Lambert leaving us. However..... Enough is enough! He has never said he wants a new challenge. He has always been great to us fans. He''s built the nucleus of a great squad/club. He''s been the best thing (along with McNally), to have happened to our club in the 40 years I''ve been following. But how would you feel after all that to keep hearing as he has " He''s going", "better job", "more money". I know I would feel as if my Integrity & Loyalty was called into question. I''m sure ''some'' would be happy for him to go JUST TO BE PROVED RIGHT! Can we just get on with the rumors about who''s signing etc. Paul is obviously happy to stay & build his squad, to step forward.... Let him get on with it. On the flip side would have loved to have been there last night, sounded awesome. Ordered Premier Sports to watch this evening. A fitting tribute to a true star Mr Drury. Cant wait for all the sarcastic, negative & slagging comments (Sarcasm btw). OTBC
  21. Cheers Herman. Was going to try that l8r. Think I''ll look now though, see the others too. Hopefully I''ll be able to download them with idm or similar. Thanks again
  22. grrr. missed that! Any1 know if its back on again? I remember that game very well. only a few weeks before i left school lol
  23. meant to say as well.... yes we should''ve had 2 pens and at least 1 sending off. That''s without my tinted yellow shades on! Well done to every1 2day A top class performance (TO BE PROUD OF)
