  1. Ta NN, i even read the article on the pinkun about pricing but didnt link ''further information'' and ''when games are announced on tv'' together particularly well.

fingers crossed i can find a couple of non plussed season ticket holders! Off to Australia in the summer indefinitely so will be one of the few easier opportunities to get to go to Carrow Road.

  2. Shouldn''t really respond to this but weren''t the capital one cup fixtures mid week and against reserve teams of opposition of varying quality.

As opposed to a 5:30 KO on a saturday night against some of the best players in the premiership (that aren''t wearing yellow and green of course!;)

I can see why they hold the same attraction as Doncaster reserves :D... oh no wait i can''t.

  3. 8 Bells seems to be the away fans pub probably due to its proximity to the tube station.

    Others you can try but are over the bridge are;

Dukes Head ( on the river)

Coat and Badge, Putney high street.

all the ones near the station are usually home fans only, but there was one i found which which was pretty large and had a large contingent of norwich fans in there. for the life of me can''t remember what it was called. I would stick to the 8 bells.

  4. Jeez, my ''03 is 9 years old, admittedly the fuzzy raised logo is beginning to lose its color a bit or its adopting other colors from whatever is in the washing machine with it.

Not sure what happened to my ''bird sh1t'' one, think i definitely outgrew that one as it was a kids, long sleeve as well i think!

Anyway nostalgia over. i won''t be getting this seasons shirt just yet but will do at some point i''m sure. I will however get a new england shirt with "holt 9" on the back.regardless of whether he goes or not for the Euro''s.

  5. I am not to worried about buying new shirts, and they are priced at the same as any other teams shirt. I considered getting into a pattern of just buying the ones in the sale each year but just never happened. I''m usually wearing my 2006/08 Fly Be top or the championship winning 2003 one with the ''digital phone company'' sponsor. Makes me laugh, best, or possibly worst name company in the world.

  6. @yellowlittle1

I saw Reading against Southampton and again last night. Judging by what i saw Jason Roberts appeared to be the only player with any kind of compsure on the ball, anything good went or started with him.

Jimmy Kebe was a liability all night, wouldn''t run anywhere, recived the ball passed it inside or lumped it down the line to Noel Hunt or Roberts. I''m not surprised rumours of premierleague clubs looking at him have gone, he was AWFUL.

Looking forward to seeing NCFC come to town. Also with southampton in easy comuting distance it looks like i''ll be attending a fair few more games next season.

  7. I was there and got a picture near the goal mouth. They tried to keep fans out of the 6 yard box without much luck!  Obviously i''m a Norwich fan but reading is easy to get to and get in. Looking forward to seeing some top flight football there next season.

On top of that the match only cost £5 to watch through a work recreation group. W00t.

  8. Alot of valid points for Bethnal and agree with absent friend. I can see why he won''t be picked but it still doesn''t mean i don''t want him there! My new england shirt with holt 9 on the back will be hot off the press regardless of whether he goes to the Euros.

I''d love to see him fulfil his and probably most english professional footballers dream to play at least once for england. Get his cap, nugent and boothroyd have got one ffs!  I think then he can say that all the work he put in before and since with Norwich he has achieved in football everything he had ever dreamed of. I will probably die at my desk because i haven''t got enough money to retire! That is not my dream!

As soon as rooney is eligible they will bring him in and that will be around about the time the tounament ends for england.

  9. I didn''t move from my seat at the break at Craven Cottage. Being 2-0 down having only been attacked seemingly twice made me livid! I didn''t see any problems and was surounded by a large amount of supporters from Belgium, but i couldn''t tell what team they supported. if any.

I was in the ''neutral'' bit though which was about 90% Norwich from what i could see. I didn''t see a Steward say or do anything all game. Don''t understand why there would be a problem amongst our fans, however i went to see an NFL game in New York and it seems alot of the NY giants fans don''t like each other.Saw 2 fights, and all you can drink there is bud light. and it stops at the beginning of the 3rd quarter.crazyiness.

  10. @Tim Allman - I was also behind the goal when he scored and I was talking to my friends saying, our only striker on the bench is wilbrahimovic and they said "who?" I said he wasn''t great and promptly scored and played really well but missed when well placed. I hope he gets some more opportunities as he seemed to be getting into threatening areas morrison did not.
