I can definitely see the advantage to both the formations you have mentioned: - 4-3-3 >>> This would allow for a very attacking game, which, when considering the attacking options we have, is a very exciting and potentially very devastating one! I would play Hux, Fran and one of Hughes/Jarrett/Safri/Marney? and then Ashton, McKenzie, Thorne. 3-5-2 >>> This would allow for total dominance in midfield and could mean that more of our new signings are played. However this leaves the defense more exposed! I would play Hux, Fran, Safri, Jarrett and one of Jarrett/Marney?/Henderson and then Ashton and McKenzie. Both could work! The defense for each case would never include Fleming unless absolutely necessary and would consist of players from the following MLJ/Colin/Docherty/Shackell/Drury/Charlton/Brennan(at a push!)
Worthy doing exceptionally well Campbell, for me would have been Jason Koumas signing for us. 1: A lot of us have little idea just how good Colin is. 2: Opinion''s on Hughes divides Reading fans, let...
Wake up 1st Wizard, so you''d be happy to spend cash on Koumas, when his track record is far from clean, when it is well-known that his ego beats even yours and when it has been reported that he has gone AWOL? Get real. You have labelled the transfers ''fair''. Well I would dearly love to see what you could possibly have done in the same situation. I mean according to your comments last week, Norwich were broke!!!! I''ve had just about enough of you''re increasingly more boring and far-fetched posts which seem only to have the sole aim of causing distress amongst loyal and committed fans. Perhaps another name change of yours is on the cards - I for one am not that bothered.

If you scored at Norwich how would you celebrate?

I''d go MENTAL -
Final score in tonight''s Dutch tour opener was 0-0. A very tight game apparantely. Deano rested due to slight hamstring concern. JJ limped off with hamstring injury - he will now miss the next game for definite. Huckerby came one and impressed - only to be denied by two good saves. A fair result.

If you could ask NW just one question...

Leave it out Wizard. Delia and Michael have done fantastic, brilliant things for this great club. Without them we really would be in "dire straites". Like Northern Canary so rightly said, if you aint liking the Norwich experience then you know where you can go. -
A wizards challange to the board!.

Sam, 16 years old, about to move on to further education at Baines Sixth Form College. Live near the bright lights of Blackpool, travel back to Norfolk every year to see Grandparents and visit FCR. Hoping to move down to go to uni and definitely want to live in the area and get a season ticket!! -
This is getting beyond a joke!

Will everyone just calm down. There is no way Worthy would even consider selling Jonson if he didnt already have several other signings in the offing - he''s not stupid (contrary to popular opinion!). Yes we are a little bare in places and yes we need new players, but there is STILL time. We have so many reasons to be cheerful: - 1) We have the BEST striker in this league in Dean Ashton. 2) We have the BEST strike partnership in this league in Ashton/McKenzie/Thorne. 3) We have an AWESOME player in Darren Huckerby who single-handedly destroyed defenses last season, won Player of the Season and all without Ashton as well. 4) We have the BEST young central defender in the league and a future captain in Shackell. 5) We have brought in 3 very capable players, who would walk into most teams in this division, yet spent NOTHING. 6) We have the BEST goalkeeper in this division and very capable vack up if he is sold. 7) WE have a GOOD manager and a GOOD board who are working well for the overall future of this great club. 8) We have a FANTASTIC stadium. 9) We have GREAT supporters. 10) We are FEARED by many, many teams in this division. 11) IPSWI** are selling or releasing their best players So cheer up for goodness sake and keep the faith (as DD would say) -
Jonson admits that he is surprised to be leaving so soon. This is poor Worthy and though i have defended you in the past, i feel i have to vent my frustration at this point. It simply does not make sense. We were told that the club had no need to sell its best players (of which Jonson could easily be one this season!) and that they would only go if they asked to leave. Jonson has publicy spoken of his desire to stay at NCFC. Now he is being sold - i just hope worthy is getting a good price and that he knows where to redistribute it very very quickly. We need some aces from under owrthy''s ever longer sleeve!!! Unbelievable. Worthy must know something we fans dont.

My sentiments exactly Putney!

Entirely up to you, though he as been transfer listed........

Money is corrupting and ruining the beautiful game. It must be stopped.

Are City being too careful?.
Yella Fella replied to First Wizard's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Agree totally DD. WE cant sit back and watch quality players who could become Norwich players be snapped up by our rivals. We should spend money but not too much, so as to put ourselves in trouble! -
I made a very similar point a few weeks ago. I believe Rob Green could grow into a top class goalkeeper but I do not think he is there at the moment and for exactly the reasons above. Top class goali...
Well, surely if he has the ability to become, and i quote "a top class keeper", it''s better for Norwich to either keep him until that point or sell him for a price which takes into account his ''great'' potential. Either way it doesnt make any sense to sell him on the cheap because he hasnt quite made it to his full potential yet. Get real guys and get of Greeno''s back!!!!!

A couple of decent loan players from premiership clubs could come in very handy indeed. However i would definitely prefer it if we signed more players on permanent deals. If the loan signings have the same impact as Hux/Crouch/Harper then i wont be complaining!!!!

Whilst i agree with you that more players are needed before the season starts and that it can sometimes be very frustrating - particularly when other clubs within our division close in on their targets, i disagree that the speculation is wrong. It''s such rumours that help to pass the time before the footy season kicks off. They are harmless and often very amusing. I think you''re letting your disappointment at our lack of transfer activity cloud your humourous side. Chill. We''ll sign the right players. Trust Worthy.
