Can we afford Jackson
Holtys three lungs replied to CanaryOne's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Also, has Lambert actually confirmed he wants him. With most signings Lambert has made there has been nothing ''leaked'' to the press beforehand. I for one believe that SJ is a smokescreen for someone else. -
Lambert and Gary Holt
Holtys three lungs replied to Matt Morriss's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Holty would love to work at norwich, he has taken his coaching badges and is waiting for a chance. He still holds city close to his heart. -
RIP Roy Waller

Gary is back living in Norfolk and commuting to Wycombe, he has been all season. -
Re: Gary Holt

Holty is apparently moving back to Norfolk this month, when he moved to Forest he kept his place here and is now moving back. Never know might be another freebe... -

Wasn''t Robert Green playing for England when he tore his groin? I am sure that was his first cap. -

Paul Sturrock has been sacked.. Opens the door for Worthy.. -
Heard that this happened last week during training, as well as the Shackell / Worthy bust up. Not sure if it is true though.

OK...NEW POLL NEEDED - WORTHY IN OR OUT???
Holtys three lungs replied to Canary Boy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Time to go... OUT -
Saw Hughes for the first time on Tuesday and was quite impressed. He''s never going to be the most creative player in the world but he certainly is a 110%''er. Looks like he is really trying to emphasise the ''team ethic'' factor, when celebrating a goal getting the whole team together etc...... Anyone else notice who the only player not joining in with this was...... Thats right Mr Fleming......

THE WORTHINGTON INDICTMENT
Holtys three lungs replied to Bernard Futter's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Agree that now is time for hime be dropped. But lets not forget that during those 102 consecutive games he was named player of the year. So some credit is due, however you cannot keep playing players based on what has happened in the past. It has to be on current form. -
New Signing
Holtys three lungs replied to Holtys three lungs's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Jim, you are right it is all about opinions and everyone is different but I should not have started with a "new signing". Although we will have to wait to see if I am right on the new signing. If I am not then I will hold my hands up, and admit I was wrong. -
What is wrong with Shackle?
Holtys three lungs replied to Salopian's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Jas, I agree that youth should be given a go. My only thought about what you said is that at present Jarvis has only just recovered from injury so is unlikely to be match fit. If he was then put in the first team he would be unlikely to perform at his full potential the crowd would then soon get on his back. I think Jarvis certainly has the potential and deserves a chance, however he needs to be 100% fit. With regards to Henderson, is this the same player who got booed by so called city fans last time he was in the team??? its a bit ironic that they now want him in the team. The player I do feel should be given a chance is WLY, he plays, sets up a goal, gives a good all round performance then gets dropped. How must he feel?? -

Unfortunately not. Although if I did it would also say, Ipswich 0 Norwich 2 (Ashton, Hucks) OTBC -
What is wrong with Shackle?
Holtys three lungs replied to Salopian's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Totally agree, Shackell has spent most of this season covering up for the mistakes Fleming has made. I think a partnership of Davenport and Shackell may be exactly what Shacks needs. It will give him the confidence to play his own game rather than having to cover for someone else. I still believe that if we can win on Sunday the confidence will come flooding back through the side and we will go on a good run. Look back to 2003/2004 it wasn''t until we went top at Portaloo Road that we really took over the league. Also this time last year Sunderland only had 5 points (ish). Fingers crossed we do get that win on Sunday. -

New Signing

Jim, not going to get drawn into a spat with you. We all have to start somewhere, probably not best in hindsight to start with a "rumour" though. I just thought I would finally join up after following the forum for ages. Apologies if this has pissed anyone off. I really can assure you that I am not a binner. But you will have to take my word for it. -
New Signing
Holtys three lungs replied to Holtys three lungs's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
No proof, I''m afraid. But the player is Darren Moore from WBA. That is what I have heard. Hope I am right, I think he will be a good signing. Definately not a binner, I have been a city fan since about 85/86 milk cup glory, not a season ticket holder due to playing local football but I will be there Tuesday night against the cobblers.. -
There is likely to be another player signing on loan today. Premiership centre half. Perhaps Worthy has finally lost patience with Fleming????
