1. Mr Mumby was upstairs after the game (visible from the pavement outside the main stand). My question is, Why did you shut the blinds Roger?, Did you not want to come out and face the fans or is it just too painful to admit you (the board) have made a horrendous mistake appointing Mr Roeder (and I have NEVER managed the England team).
2.
I thought that Cort looked decent, won several in the air and I think once fit will make a perfect partner for Lupoli.
Is that when we are in the Blue Square Premier or before ?
3. I too have posted a general invite and I''ll be there at 2-00 pm
4. I think Glenn said ''Let''s all stay in here until that rabid mob outside who keep singing ''We want Roeder out'' has gone home.
5.
smudger.... let me put this simple for you..... "sack the board" was also sung.
..and ''where''s the money gone'' ''we want our money back'' ''you''re not fit to wear the shirt'' But especially ''We want Roeder out''
6. Marshall - 5 Otsemobor - 2 Doherty - 6 Omozusi - 2 Drury - 3 Croft - 4 Fotheringham - 2 Clingan - 3 Bell - 2 Lupoli - 5 Cort - 2 Bertrand - 3 Hoolahan - 4
7. It appears there is a soiree at Carrow Road on Saturday at 2 p.m.to which you are all welcome. Dress is optional (perhaps black to match the mood), bring a bottle if you wish (sorry soft drinks only). There will be some choir practice, singing those old favourites, ''We want Roeder out'', ''We want our money back'' and ''You''re not fit to wear the shirt''. The idea is, that if Roger Munby dares to show his face (after shutting the blinds on the fans this evening) and Neil Doncaster are outside we tell them what we want.
8.

Surely God, now he has to go![:@]
FFS this is pretty simple stuff.  If you and/or the Board want him out you''ll have to pay up the rest of his contract. He isn''t going to go without the money.  So go and FIND the money. This is parallel universe stuff with some posters. Roeder: "I turned out to be not very good and so I just went home.............." FFS you lot![:P]
What gets me Cam is this. If I was incompetent and p**s poor at my job I would get the sack, yet this bloke wants ot be paid up!
9.

I sometimes agree with Wizzy, but never can on wanting the team to lose. For me, the team winning is the most important thing, whoever the manager is. Unlike Wiz, who puts a disliking for the manager ahead of the team winning, which imo as a Norwich fan is disgraceful. We should always support the team, loans or not, even if we hate the manager. I''m no fan of Roeder, and am getting increasingly fed up with him, losing to the bottom team would knock their confidence even more (even though it''s not in the league). Survival means more to me than sacking Roeder or keeping him.
As I said to Mr Chops Mark, sometimes, to fix things, a drastic course of action is required. This club, in my opinion, cannot move on while Roeder is here.
...then we can''t move forward until the board has gone ...then we can''t move forward because... I may be as chuffed off as you are with the way things are going but to wish for a defeat against anyone is totally wrong, it wont get you what you want.
10.
I thought I''d wait until today to post to see if a night''s sleep made me less angry or change my view, but it didn''t. When Roeder was appointed I thought it was a good move given the state of the club, and there is no doubt that his initial impact was very positive, although we declined alarmingly in the latter part of the season. This season I have tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, largely because I couldn''t see how we could afford to get rid of him. Without doubt he has had some bad luck with injuries, particularly losing Steffy and Kennedy, and we have played some pretty football in the old Norwich City style, but we are now looking down the barrel and League One is a looming reality. Even very recently I expressed the view that to change managers now would be too much of  arisk and make relegation more likely, but I have to admit that I have now changed my view. While I do not attend as many games as some of you who go home and away, I can honestly say that I have watched or listened to all but three of our games this season,so I hope my view is objective. Whilst its easy to quote our lack of firepower, our lack of a creative midfield playmaker and our lack of finances, my particular reason for believing that, whatever the cost Roeder has to go now is the apparent lack of a will to win emanating form the bench. It was clear yesterday that Sheffield United were poor at the back and Adams noted several times that  deliveries into the box and balls that turned defenders caused them huge problems and created chances for us, yet we left our big target man on the bench when we were pushing for a late equaliser, then pushed Doc upfront. However, rather than bomb the box it appeared that we favoured intricate short passing movements that eventually disappeared up their own backsides. Added to this is the apparent lack of passion amongst the players reported by several who went to the game, and the inevitable post match interview where Roeder bemoaned bad luck in front of goal and siad he was happy with the performance! The question that this raises in my mind is whether Roeder now has a mentality of damage limitation rather than the "go for broke" approach that we expect to see when trailing late on. I was always coached that it doesn''t matter if you lose 1-0 or 3-0, as long as you try to get something out of the game. We don''t appear to be working to that maxim. Add this to the increasingly bizarre team selections and substitutions and a picture starts to emerge of a struggling manager with a siege mentality and a stubborn desire to prove his critics wrong by presenting himself as some sort of footballing Zen master. I don''t care that Roeder isn''t likeable. I didn''t like Ron Saunders or his style of football, but he got results. I would happily forgive Roeder his remarks at the AGM and in the press if he made us winners, but we are going backwards, and terminal decline seems very close. Let''s at least give ourselves a chance by getting rid of him now!
Good post Beauseant. I have not managed England (Yet!!), but I, like you, think that is the score is 1-0 with 10 mins to go you mght as well stick on 4 forwards and try to salvage something from the game. If you end up losing 3-0 so be it, but at least you have given it a go rather than accept a 1-0 defeat against a team that didn''t sound too comfortable at the back.
11.
Hmm... I was expecting something much more positive. When I read Prudence with ambition needs to go out of the window, the board needs to take a punt, Let''s do something radical and sign Kenny Lunt I was hoping this would be the first two lines of a poem about Roeder.
12. After moving the ground will we be called Sandringham Canaries ?
13. Norwich manager Glenn Roeder: "It was a very good performance against a club whose expectations are to get promotion. "We gave them a proper game and it''s quite unbelievable that we didn''t get anything from it. Even the referee said that we deserved at least a point."   Well as long as the Ref thought we played well, that''s all right then!
14.
Bloody hell - match stats per BBC, us first: Possession: 58 : 42 Shots on:     7 : 6 Shots off:     2 : 4 we just haven''t really seemed to ever quite get what we deserve this season.  Ho hum. The next 2 games, against iffy sides and at home, are really big.
Oh yes we have (as it''s the panto season) 1-3 Swansea 1-2 Derby (10 men) 0-1 QPR (10 men) 2-3 Forest Three good perfoemances - Birmingham, Woves and Ipswich, the rest have been average at best and some have been positively dire.
15. Now I''ve never managed Englnad (yet), but wouldn''t you think (I would), that when you are losing why not play 2 up front? We really are doomed.
16. I know it''s late, but is there time to change my selection as it has fallen foul of the weather? If so I now am going for Arsenal v Bolton - Home win
17. Good luck Shaun. This week I''m going for Shrewsbury v Chester Home win
18. Or we could sign, Freeman, Hardy and Willis, they come with their own footware !!!
19. Does the magic of the cup exist anymore? Very poor gates. The bigger teams playing several reserve/youth  players, against teams they consider to be beatable. The realisation that you have no chance of a real upset.
20. As it is the F.A. Youth cup, the pricing may be down to the F.A.
21. Is this an indication of how unhappy he is with our beloved manager ? If Roeder gets rid of any combination of Bell, Hoolihan or Croft he wants shooting. Or is this an indication of how unhappy the player are with ''he who must not be questioned'' ?
22.
Excellent post Bingo, and a Happy New Year to you, too. I think many of the points you make have been aired at various times, but its good to see such a cogent summary. I can certainly relate to your comment about apathy. I have been visiting Carrow Road for 40 years, albeit as an  irregular due to playing and management commitments, but I too have a growing feeling of detachment which I try to keep at bay, although it becomes harder with every performance like the Forest game!
Cracking post Bingo, and I have highlighted the bit which sums up exactly how I feel, from Beauseant.
23. In some ways, I''d love to be going back to work today. I had 7 years of driving from Norwich to Cambridge to work double day shifts - It was dreadful having to get up at 3-45 to be there for 6 in the morning, but it paid the bills ! Sadly I the misfortune to slip 3 discs in my back at work late 2007 and I have not been able to work since, and just to make things better I got made redundant on the 1st October last year. I hope this year will see me recover sufficiently to join the work force again, but doing what I really don''t know !
24. I would like to wish you all a happy and healthy new year. Congratulations to Arrdee and Nutty on starting and controlling the ''Free bet'', it''s going from strength to strength, may it be a good year for all the pickers. This week I''m going for Macclesfield v Everton - Away win Good luck Mr Bump.
25. I took my car into the Jewish garage to have it Simonised (polished), and they cut 3 inches off the exhaust pipe!
