  1. What we really need now is a decent new signing to get some positivity for next season started. Maybe an attacking Midfielder would be a good start. I''m sure everyone wants Neil to succeed but it is a big gamble.
  2. Sums it up better than I did Bubbles. Probably wouldn''t have pasted my previous comment if id read yours. Everything has to always be about him, with 2 assists all season (would love to know how long he actually had the ball compared to the rest of the tem)
  3. Looking back I think it sums up Snoddy perfectly. If only he was half as good as he thinks he is. Hope someone believes the hype enough to make a profit on him, really hope he is someone elses problem come next season.
  4. Wes is probably just as much a luxury player in the Championship as he was in the Premier League. An Attacking midfielder who cannot Tackle or shoot ? Thanks for the memories Wes.
  5. If Snodgrass was truly our best player this season there is little question as to why we were relegated. 2 assists from the player that took almost every Corner and Free kick tells its own story. Cant fault his effort or commitment but would love to see how much time he spent on the ball compared to the rest of the squad for his 2 assists. Redmond for the most part looked out of his depth playing for us this season who knows could be something to do with the manager we may never see him again to find out. Appearance numbers have little to do with the quality of a player
  6. Last years men. Thanks and goodbye. We need to move on and find new heroes.
  7. Personally I think there is a fair chance Josh is a more complete player already than Redmond if given a chance. And if anyone is prepared to give us decent money for Snodgrass i''ll drive him myself....
  8. When I asked the question a while ago on twitter someone suggested Rodwell
  9. Yawn Incidentally Bor why is your Avatar a picture of a notorious Binner ?
  10. As said elsewhere id rather have Julian Lennon
  11. Probably right, for me Lennon would only just be a step up from the dog walker and nobody would want that.
  12. I have a feeling Malky may end up at WBA I have a horrible feeling that if we do get Lennon we will end up with someone who alienates players and fans quicker than Roeder. Rather stick with Adams than get Lennon.
  13. Spot on as always Purple if there was a better option than Malky I don''t believe I have heard it yet.
  14. I''d rather have Glen Roeder than Neil Lennon that would be really little Norwich, Mcnally only able to look at ex Celtic ?
  15. I might have agreed in the Premier League, but not now. I personally think if he would come it would be the only option not to be a huge gamble.
  16. Yes all this mumbo jumbo about Malky being a defensive manager has to be tempered by his record in the championship , his passion and the nature of the Cardiff squad he got promoted (that beat Man City at home) Cardiff won the championship by 8 points with the joint highest +27 goal difference with a squad he put together. He is the obvious choice if we are lucky enough to get him. I can''t see any other candidate that comes close.
  17. One again LDC your criteria of success might well be different if you had to sit through it every week. For me it is not acceptable to get and stay in the premier league playing as we did last year and had the Hughton project been considered a success and given longer I would not have continued to renew my season tickets. We scored by far the fewest goals in the league and frankly never looked like scoring more. We must never lose sight of the fact we go to football to passionately follow our team but we demand something in return: Football If all it becomes long term is a money making exercise then there really is no point.
  18. I despair at many of the suggestions on here. This is probably the most important appointment we will have for a very long time. We need to hit the ground running if we are to bounce back. I am sorry I don''t buy the negativity towards Malky its a no brainer (if he would come) Neil Adams will be our manager in the future but it would be too big a risk at this time for both him and the club. Please forget the serial chancers of Colin et al. Rosler or Laudrup might be interesting but for me its got to be Malky When Cardiff won the championship they were 3rd highest scorers with 72 goals , GD best +27 and 8 pts clear. Cup final as well !
  19. Couldn''t have put it better. Can''t wait to see a Norwich team without him. Hopefully the ridiculous award of POTS is to make sure someone signs him up. Olssson best player this season followed by Ruddy by a long way.
  20. We have required an upgrade on Wes/ Goalscoring attacking midfielder for several seasons and ultimately the lack of signing this player along with an over reliance in giving the ball to a passionate and committed yet hopelessly out of form Snodgrass is what has got us relegated. It could only be funnier if he had been named player of the season. Fer was never this player for me he was an upgrade on central midfielder he could play this role better than the rest but was more suited to play further back alongside Howson. A player who has skills, goals and can play anywhere across midfield is still number one priority, a Striker to freshen up attack and replace those that jump ship. If we can keep most of the rest of the squad together and add these two players I would hope with a manager that can drive the team forward we would have a reasonable shot next season.
  21. Every cloud has a silver lining, will happily drive Snodgrass anywhere in the UK to get rid. 100% effort 10% Quality.
  22. I think the unknown could give us the edge on Saturday. Maybe just a shame it didn''t happen a week earlier WBA were there for the taking. Couldn''t see us winning another game under Hughton.
  23. Shame but hey who knows. The last miserable celt we had didn''t work out too badly. Would prefer Malky if the choice was between the two though. Fancy a European coach with a reputation for flair and puching above his weight.
  24. I don''t think Hughton will be scarred by his time at Norwich. Whilst I don''t recall many chorus''s of Chris Hughtons Green and Yellow Army he really got very little abuse and even the most rabid outers would always concur he was a lovely man. Shame it didn''t work out, move along everyone.
