1.

Not 100% sure on this but I don''t remember anyone winning back to back automatic promotions to the Premier League before. Manchester City and Watford both won back to back promotions but went via the Play Offs on one occasion. It was probably done in the old 1st Division however. Anyone know if it has been done before?
QPR 3rd division champions 1967, runners-up 2nd division 1968. Then relegated from 1st division with what was then the lowest ever points total in 1969. Not a precedent we want to follow!
Sheffield Utd got back to back auto promotions to div 1 (old money) in 1990.I think the only ever team to win back to back championships to the top flight was Oxford Utd in 1985......
 2. I put a tenner on promotion @ 13/2 about a week before the season kicked off.I remember thinking they were pretty crap odds, but what the hell...
 3. tickets are only £20 and I can totally understand anyone not going for a whole host of reasons, but at the same time surely its got to be worth getting home late, being tired for work on tuesday etc and I would urge as many of you to make the trip as possible - it could just make the difference, and you just could be there the night Norwich get promoted..

See you at Pompey..

 7.

Got mine today in V2. Can''t believe people who missed out would rather go to a beam back than get tickets in the home areas at the bin. Come on, lets fill the place with City fans!
Probably because of this..."You will need to be a current Season Ticket Holder, Club member or have previously purchased a home league or cup match in the 2010/11 season to be able to purchase online."
really?I''m none of the above and had no problem buying a ticket online.. you just need to register so that you get a customer number and off you go..
When did you purchase one? Imagine they''ll crack down on any orders to a NR postcode too...
i ordered mine yesterday morning when i decided that I wasnt going to be successful in the ballot (group 3). I do have a london postcode though which might make a difference..

 12. There''s a second verse to the Holt song too:He scored three goals against the scum, Grant Holt, Grant Holt He scored three goals against the scum, Grant Holt, Grant Holt He scored three goals against the the blues, and how we laugh when Ipswich loseSuper Grant Holt, Norwich''s number nine
 13.
It might just be enough but you''d certainly never hear Lambert saying that - he''ll have the players believing they can still catch QPR..I''d be pretty gutted if Swansea went up in second with 79 points - I think we''re on course for 81-82..Would you take 80 points right now?
15.
rondy - McNally and the ticket office have said we''ve got 3,000 tickets for Portsmouth.
thanks - didnt read/hear that, so my bad.. great news!
 16. http://www.footballgroundguide.com/portsmouth/This states that away fans only get 2000 tickets, so not sure where this 3000 has come from. Ive been to watch Pompey a fair few times as my mate is a big fan and apart from cup games the Milton end is shared with home fans.. Man U, Spurs etc all only got 2/3rds of that stands which is about 2000.. I''d be very surprised if they give us the whole end especially if they''re still in with a shout of reaching the play offs, hope I''m wrong though..
 17. I really not sure hoew
"Why on earth would I choose to sit in the binner end when I might have a ticket in with our lot? IF i dont get a ticket in the ballot then I''ll buy one in the south stand, or get my binner mate to do it for me.. they''ll still plenty left.. " eh You are now contradicting yourself and agreeing with me. What a confused chap you appear to be.
I''m really not sure how you came to that conclusion, but anyhoo its 6 o'' clock and I''m off for a pint..
 18. The Offside Bar is the official Capital Canaries hang out, but is closed for a refurb so they''ve moved up the hill to the Red Lion.. There was a very good turnout (the pub was packed) and an excellent atmosphere for the Bristol City game..
 19.

Yep, it''s been pretty much a free for all. The paupers have finally dragged themselves into the 21st century and introduced and online ticket system. All City fans have been doing is registering with a none NR postcode and buying tickets, rather than being one of the numpties wetting their knickers to see if their name comes out of a hat. I expect there will be so many City fans in the ground that there won''t be the need to sit quiet. I''m somewhere in the Britannia stand with three others. Any City fan who has not already got a ticket is a fool. To make it even easier the paupers are selling tickets at poorman road this friday onwards. So no excuse, lets cover poorman road in green and yellow
I must be a fool then as I haven''t bought a ticket in the home end yet.. Why would I shell out another £35 for a seat I don''t really want to sit in when there''s probably a 50/50 chance that I''m successful in the ballot.. And do you honestly believe that you wont get chucked out for openly supporting Norwich in the home ends? Good luck with that - If we score and you celebrate, you''ll get a whack round the head for your troubles, thrown out of the ground and have to listen to the rest of the game from the car park
Why on earth would I choose to sit in the binner end when I might have a ticket in with our lot? 21. Out of interest, which stands are people sitting in? I was in the south stand upper 2 years ago (my god what a depressing day, I hated every second of it) and spotted lots of canaries up there.. Any news on whether there will be a beam back? If and when I dont get a ticket in the ballot, I''ll be torn between beam back and sitting with the scummers. Said I''d never do it again but with so much at stake I might just have to - would be great revenge for last time to win there and see us all but promoted..
 22. He definitely sounds up for it, hope he starts on saturday
 23. cheers for the replies.. am looking forward to it, especially for the better view – sitting mid way up the Barclay lower its pretty hard to what the hell''s going on when the ball''s up in the River End penalty area!
