Thirsty Lizard replied to Myra Hawtree's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Chelsea's captain was actually Lewis Baker - who played against us for Stoke yesterday. -

11 Years on actually. Also Josh Murphy scored yesterday for Oxford in League 1 and Cameron McGeehan scored for Colchester in League 2. -

I think "Why aren't we Barcelona?" has a better ring to it than "Why aren't we Charlton, ipswich, Sheffield Utd, Burnley..... Luton?!" -
I still fondly remember Justin Fashanu coming into the Barclay terrace back in the day. He was our player at the time, but was out suspended if I remember correctly. It was actually a very important watershed moment. Sadly there was no shortage of racist idiots amongst our support at the time, but they shut up when they realised he was on the terrace along with the rest of us.

There WASN'T anything in Geoffrey Watling Way - he's just taking a snidey pop at the club for caring about the environment. The irony of him doing so when his own username indicates he comes from/resides in a county about 80 miles away appears to be lost on him......................... -

It's his idea of humour - someone recently started a thread entitled "A new fan from Canada". -
You do realise that the figure of 0.57% of the UK population being registered as a doctor includes those that immigrate here. It would be a lower figure without immigration. And since early on in this thread it was acknowledged that the majority of these 1.4 million visas were student visas it seems a bit weird to then turn round and complain that a high percentage of them aren't doctors and nurses.
