  1. Except all of four days ago when we scored a crucial 86th minute winner away from home.
  2. Sara and Gunn in particular have got decent claims, but Kenny's got my vote. (and honourable mentions to Nunez, Stacey, Sargent and Rowe).
  3. I've been trying to research this and it's difficult to come up with a definitive answer. However, I think the answer is that no he wouldn't.
  4. Another great example of double away fatigue with Leicester at Plymouth last night.
  5. Waylon Renecke too I would imagine.
  6. Which of course is why they're making the 'documentary' about him.
  7. Those tactics worked perfectly for Plymouth tonight.
  8. Think you've missed the point here. Fen Canary is saying that IF the Sporting Director is interfering with team selection/tactics then it would be the Sporting Director's selections/tactics that would be failing.
  9. It really would help if you read the post you are replying to properly. The poster was saying that Hanley - when he was fully fit!!!! - would have prevented the Wednesday goals.
  10. You just have to look at how frustrated Wagner was after the game - and listen to what he said - to see that he's on the horns of a spiteful dilemma on this. We all know that Sargent is far and away our best striker and that we're far too reliant on him - we all know that he's not 100% fit and that they're desperately trying to manage his fitness. Take him off and we subsequently drop points and Wagner gets panned. Keep him on too long in a game and he gets a season ending injury and guess what? Wagner will get panned!
  11. Yeah agree completely with this. He's also been 'unlucky' this season in that his main position is in the one part of the pitch where we haven't picked up a load of injuries.
  12. Well at least we can both agree that being called Rishi is an insult 🤣😅 (Sorry - a bit below the belt I agree). I did answer your first question quite a lot of posts ago though. We were open and attacking in the 4-4 draw at St Mary's - we set up very defensively in the 1-1 home draw. For the vast majority of this season - especially when we were having that awful run in the Autumn - Wagner was being accused of playing too open and not being defensive enough. Seems to me that the poor bu**er can't win. Anyway - we're the 5th highest scoring team in the division (just 1 goal behind Farke's Leeds)and the aggregate of goals scored and conceded in our games is the second highest in the division (just 1 behind some team that plays in blue). Football is meant to be an entertainment industry and Wagner is delivering on that front in a big way. Accusing him of being "too defensive" just seems miles off the mark to me.
  13. I sympathise with the general tenor of a lot of what you've said, but Wagner would have to be very brave/stupid to pitch in a youngster he doesn't really trust at this stage of the season when a place in the play-offs is on the line. You say "the talent is there" but with respect that's inaccurate - the only thing you or I can sensibly say "is the talent may be there". You're also substantially understating the Springett situation against Leeds. Springett came on in the 61st minute when we were 2-0 up. We lost 3-2! Of course nobody was saying it's was all Springett's fault, but equally nobody was saying that bringing him on was the right call. If Aboh were to start or come on as a sub on Saturday believe me I'll be bursting for him to succeed, but in the end we just have to trust Wagner and the coaching team's judgement on these things (whilst debating them to death on here 😀).
  14. Apparently Wagner already did that when he brought on Gibbs on Tuesday night................................
  15. He hasn't been sh*gging the Ipswich tractor again has he? https://www.suffolkgazette.com/suffolk-man-sex-with-tractors/
  16. I'm really not sure it's a fair comparison though - the ones you mentioned were an outstanding crop of young talent. Lewis, Aarons, Godfrey and Omobamidele have all gone on to play Premier League football and the last 3 are still at Premier League clubs. Wagner has already been burned by pitching in young players - probably before they're ready. Kamara looked out of his depth in his couple of sub appearances last season - Wagner was panned for bringing on Springett after 60 minutes when we were 2-0 up at home to Leeds earlier this season - and Fisher was hooked at half time home to Sheffield Wednesday (I think Fisher has looked very promising btw, but not sure he's quite ready yet).
  17. Okay - but it's deeply unfair to whichever other club they're shafting by not paying agreed transfer installments on time. Lets hope Forest are paying up in a timely fashion for Omobamidele and Everton for Godfrey.
  18. What are the chances of Sydney Van Hooidonk playing on Saturday David? "Well he's been sh*t in training so I doubt it.............." If you seriously expect football managers to answer questions honestly there's little hope for you.
  19. I believe someone once said the same about Luciano................. (the groundsman never had to worry)
  20. Overspending unfairly on players directly influences performances on the pitch!
  21. You can't even get the number of games right.................................
