  1. Green or James, not a tough one Green was very good for us - but it has to be James   James commands the box, takes cross can throw the ball and kick it, sorry Green is a good shot stopper and if he was better he wouldn''t play for a small team like West Ham. Any defender would appreciate those qualities although I''m not saying he shouldn''t be in the squad - however I think that Capello has made made the right decision - more worringly Wes Brown looked poor in the 1st half and is a centre half - not right back.
  2. Aye - to true although Goss was playing as well, everyone forgets that he was crap to start off with
  3. sorry  thought you might need some help - after all people from guernsey are known as donkeys-    only remember because I went to that game - fleck scored the winner in the last winner with the worst penalty ever!
  4. Why bother posting a reply bly  - or was that an attempt at humour?
  5. Err yes can see your point, football is not all about pace its about technique, I remember watching a very dull champions league semi final 2nd leg at anfield, the only one true moment of genius was a pass in the dying seconds by the aforementioned player, which was fluffed by his striking partner - i can except questions about wages - but to say this guy is s*** (as u put it) is a complete joke!
  6. We''re just waiting to finalise everything," Blades chairman Terry Robinson told BBC RadiO Sheffield. "There''s a possibility that a couple of players could be going the other way as part of the deal." Norwich, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston had also made bids for Sharp, 21, who scored 32 goals last season. Sharp had left Bramall Lane in 2005 after just two substitute appearances to join Scunthorpe, and helped them win the League One title last season. Robinson added: "We made it known to Billy''s representatives eight weeks ago that we would be interested in bringing him back here. "Billy''s glad to be back, he knows what we''re about and we hope he''ll score plenty of goals for us."
  7. Yeah read that as well, but worthy hardly paid him a compliment did he? People can change and have a change of opinion, even seen it on these boards, once before
  8. £75,000 - i think that is a bit of a joke Obviously not going to pay him that much - would imagine he was only on £25,000 -£40,000 a week (at the most) at Liverpool -  the trick would be to put clauses in contract regarding goals and promotion   He is a proven goal scorer and has played for big teams
  9. Still without a club - must be worth a shout on a free?
