This week I''m going to suggest; Despite a lengthy journey (possibly one of the longest in the league calendar) an in form Carlisle to Beat Exeter. Exeter V Carlisle Away win. For the City bet, common sense says this will be a draw. so let go for another 1-1 with Josh getting the first goal. getting his first goal for the club Good luck pickers

I always have 3 or 4 picks up my sleeve so that I can give the picker a new option this week I had 3 and as the first 2 have already been suggested I''m going for my other choice. Since Chris Powell was appointed Southend have gone from strength to strength and are unbeaten in 5 with only 1 draw. they travel to an improving Oldham but I think Powell''s team will be just to good and at 2/1 this is my choice Oldham v Southend Away win. For the match bet, I''ll go for a HT draw FT Norwich Good luck pickers and also to everybody going to the quiz tonight. Finally a warm welcome back to Gingerpele.

Kicking towards the barclay
The Great Drinkell replied to super dave's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I''m not sure PL can get credit for this Dylan as I''m sure since Worthington and probably before we always ran out and towards the River end. I''m sure NN will be able to tell us. - the players who told me were playing in the mid- late 80''s -
Had Klose not spoilt the party, and they had hung on to the win I suspect nothing or very little would of been said, apart from loving his passion etc.

Kicking towards the barclay
The Great Drinkell replied to super dave's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
A few years ago I was talking to a few of the players and they told me that it feels like there is a slope on the pitch toward the river end. They didn''t think there was, it''s just an illusion or certainly not defined This is why they always preferred to kick towards the River end 2nd half. If any body knows any of the current squad may be it''s worth asking them. -
Missed last week so apologises - back on track again this week and in to league 1 where A rejuvenated Plymouth (5 in 5) take on Oxford. at odds nearing 2/1 I think this is the value bet of the weekend. For the City bet I''ll go for Lewis to score his first Carrow road goal at any time. March 31st is good for me thanks NN

Tom Trybull injured for rest of season

Terrible for TT too - Ginja -
Very sad news but lovely words Eddie. I to never had the pleasure meeting Chelle but send heart felt condolences to Ian, her family and all of her friends. This weeks bet see 2 out of sorts team meet in league 1, Oldham who have been struggling all season host Bradford who after a good start have wobbled over the last 4/5 games. Form is temporary, as the saying goes so add better than even money Oldham v Bradford Away win. The match bet is a very difficult one - I''ll go for Bamford to score at any time. Good luck pickers

Are you not getting confused with Mooy who I thought dominated the midfield at Carrow Road - especially.

For me this week, at 1/1 money a much improved West Ham side need to Beat Bournemouth who I know will be much changed after Wednesday but still are very inconsistent and won''t be given freebies like they were against Arsenal last week. West Ham V Bournemouth Home win For the City bet - I think this could be an exciting game as we seem to have wound them up a little earlier on in the season:-) I expect them to come at us early on and with scoring goals still is a problem for us - I''d take HT Sheffield Utd and FT Draw. or (1-1 with Oliveria to score) Good luck to both pickers

Do people really believe we can make the play offs? - it was only the other week we were worried about relegation. If the play offs are a realistic target then play a side that rests any niggles or tiredness. If they aren''t realistic, then let''s go for a cup upset and a cup run.

As with Klopp at Liverpool, maybe we will go the way of not having an out and out striker, but a front line that can interchange and all score goals?

I''m not sure we''ll always get 24000 plus BroardstairsR. we''ve been lucky over recent years but if we are still in the championship in 10 years time. - The Mid 50''s seem to be disillusioned with football - not just Norwich City and I always thought we have lost a generation of fans due to high gates and no "casual" tickets meaning we missed a lot of younger fans during the later 2000s. I hope I''m wrong but we''ll see.

I’m clearly not over selling Drinkell

Duncan, I''ve not been sold, -I just don''t come on here very often. -
Shrewsbury v Wet Spam
The Great Drinkell replied to DDD In The Fine City's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Morris kept Shrewsbury''s top scorer out of the team on Sunday. Paul Hurst is a manager with a growing reputation. surely this says more than fans like myself who have seen 70 odd minutes on the telly. All players have strength and weaknesses the secret is for a manger to spot each one and build a good team. no al number 9''s have to be the same. -
Season Tickets 2018/9 - stick or bust
The Great Drinkell replied to CANARYKING's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I sort of kept hold of my tickets this season, and when I haven''t been I can''t say I''ve missed it to much, I still stay near a radio or phone so can follow the club. but the hassle of getting in and out of the City not to mention the parking on a Saturday has made a trip to the match a bind rather than a joy. Next season my tickets will not be renewed price freeze or not -
I''d still be confident to say we will finish higher at the end of the season. The way they play will always bring the odd surprising result and MM has bought in some good Championship level signings, but unless ME releases the purse strings they will always be mid to lower end Championship in the end.
